EVERY MOUNTAIN BEFORE YOU SHALL BE MADE LOW. OBSTACLES IN YOUR LIFE, MARRIAGE, FAMILY, BUSINESS AND CAREERS SHALL SUPERNATURALLY TURNS TO MIRACLES FOR YOU. FROM NOW ON, BY THE POWER OF FAITH YOU HAVE IN GOD, AS YOU SAY IT, YOU WILL SEE IT. THINGS WILL BEGIN TO ANSWER TO YOUR COMMAND. NOTHING DISAGREES WITH YOU ANYMORE. LightWord: “Be strong and of a good courage, fear not, nor be afraid of them: for the Lord thy God, he it is that doth go with thee; he will not fail thee, nor forsake thee.” Deuteronomy 31:6 Job challenges were so high that his wife told him to curse God and just die (Job 2:9) , Job knew (faith) he would be restored. And so the Lord blessed the later end of Job more than his beginning. (Job 42:12) Whatever the challenge/challenges you are going through now or later, one thing is, keep your FAITH alive; the Scripture above says God will never forsake you. It's your faith that is needed! Say this to yourself: Father thank You for You are with me always like a mighty man of warrior, I know it will end in praise and glory for me sooner than expected in Jesus' name. Amen!

LightWord: “‘Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves...” 2 Corinthians 13:5 To see if you are living in the faith, you have to look closely at yourself, to examine yourself. Job was a man in the Bible that loved God and diligently sought God in his time. Even when he was tempted in diverse ways by the devil; in just one day, Job under mysterious circumstances lost his business, his family and his health. All through this horrible time, he kept his faith in God . Say this to yourself: Father, You've said that we will face challenges in the world, but that You've overcome. Help me Lord to always hold-on by faith to the truth of that victory in Jesus' name. Amen!

LightWord: “‘What are you, O great mountain [of obstacles]? Before Zerubbabel [who will rebuild the temple] you will become a plain (insignificant)!...”  Zechariah 4:7 AMP If you really want God to perform a miracle in your life; that means, is either you are passing through a difficulty or you are not pleasant with your present circumstances. Whereby men's calamities are God's opportunity to express His divine sovereign power over humans obstacles and affairs.  So, your obstacles should not weigh you down, rather it should provoke your faith the more to see God's power in action. Say this to yourself:  Thank You Father for the faith that I have in You that nothing, absolutely nothing can stop me from fulfilling destiny this year in Jesus' name. Amen!

LightWord: “For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.” Mark 11:23 In the journey of life, circumstances and challenges will always show up, but one thing is certain, strong faith will forever defeat bad circumstances or situations. Still Have Faith in God! You have to understand this, if there are no mountains or challenges - things are just going on smoothly, then, there won't be a need for faith and when there is no faith, brethren, you can not please God. Say this to yourself: Father, thank You because no matter what seem like a mountain to me now, by my faith in You I overcome in Jesus' name. Amen!

LightWord: “And we know [with great confidence] that God [who is deeply concerned about us] causes all things to work together [as a plan]...” Romans 8:28 AMP Having faith is not just by dancing in Church neither by eating good food, nor by doing good. The evidence of faith is proven in the midst of challenges. God does not promise us war-free in zion ( John 16:33 ). In God's program, challenges are pathway to championship . The obstacles in your ways are to build up your faith the more; it's for God to perform His miracles in your life. Going back in times of challenges is not an option. Say this to yourself: Father, thank You for opening my eyes that champions are made in times of challenges and even now I'm a champion in making in Jesus' name. Amen!

LightWord: “And we know [with great confidence] that God [who is deeply concerned about us] causes all things to work together [as a plan] for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to His plan and purpose.” Romans 8:28 AMP Faith is a great thing, it's a mystery. Faith is being in the same class with God. Faith is a must have for every believer. Minus faith in anything and everything a Christian does and says is a sin. Now, to have faith doesn't mean you won't have to face obstacles. As a matter of fact, the Lord once said to me years ago, how are you going to be sure of your faith if you don't face obstacles? Say this to yourself: Father thank You for the faith I have in You and thank You for all the challenges I have and will overcome through my faith in You in Jesus' name. Amen!

LightWord: “He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake.” Psalm 23:3 Everything that happens to man affects the state of a man's soul either positively or negatively. Think about it, if you are materially in need, it is your soul that will be affected, if your health is unbalanced it affects your soul. If you're not growing spiritually as expected, it is the soul that will suffer for it. And once the soul is out of peace in any aspect, everything else outwardly will be unpeaceful. But thank God He says He will restore your soul, total restoration, therefore, I decree peace to your soul. Say this to yourself: Father in the name of Jesus, from this day henceforth, I ask for the complete restoration to my soul that I won't have to tell anyone but everyone will notice the peace of God that supercede all understanding is in me. Thank You Jesus, Amen!

LightWord: “This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.” Joshua 1:8 Like most Apps on our smart phones and other gadgets need to be updated often for better performances, the same way our lives need updates. A life not updated will be out of date, obsolete, and a life that is out of date will not be relevant though still alive. Our Creator (God) never wants our life to be irrelevant. And the only way that can be is to keep updating our lives. How? By tuning in to His Word every moment to find directions in the journey of life ( Psalm 119:105 ). Action point: Be disciplined, determined and dedicated to creating time out of no time, mostly early mornings to first study God's Word, devotionals like LightWord. Pray with the Word and get everything you may need! John 15:7 ...

LightWord: “And it came to pass after these things, that his master's wife cast her eyes upon Joseph; and she said, Lie with me. But he refused.” Genesis 39:7 The Holy Spirit in you can truly help you produce fruits of good characters without much of your own effort . Just in surrendering yourself to Him as Joseph did; he by the Spirit of God refused to sleep with the master's wife, the Bible says he fled ( Gen.39:7-20 ). This is what many young men today without the Holy Spirit will call the helper of destiny, not knowing it is the opposite. Joseph was gifted, yet it was by the Spirit of God that made him behave in such a manner. That causes God to be merciful unto him, favour him and prosper him ( Gen.39:21-23 ). Say this to yourself: Holy Spirit my helper, I ask for Your help, not only this year but all the days of my entire life, to live to please God in cultivating good characters even when it seem unpleasant in Jesus' name. Amen!

LightWord: “Then Samuel took the horn of oil, and anointed him in the midst of his brethren: and the Spirit of the Lord came upon David from that day forward...” 1 Samuel 16:13 You could imagine how David though uneducated yet had great behaviour, was accepted by everyone including kings. The question is how does that happen? The answer is simple, he has the Spirit of God upon his life and that really helped him so. It is not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, says the Lord of hosts. The Spirit of God upon David produces good characters in Him. He behaved wisely, more wisely, very wisely. Gift is not enough, you likewise need to cultivate good habits this year to really emerge a success. Say this to yourself: Spirit of the living God I invite You into my life this year, renew my mind and cause a great transformation in my life in Jesus' name. Amen!

LightWord: “And David went out whithersoever Saul sent him, and behaved himself wisely: and Saul set him over the men of war, and he was accepted in the sight of all the people, and also in the sight of Saul's servants.” 1 Samuel 18:5 It was reported in our focal Scripture of today that David behaved himself wisely, therefore, he was accepted by the king, the people and even before everyone. Not only does he behave himself wisely; but also it was recorded in that same Scripture the progression of his behaviour. He behaved himself wisely, very wisely and even more wisely than all his colleagues (1 Sam. 18:14&15&30). That is, he kept on working on his behaviour and he emerged a successful being, fulfilled! Action Point: Sincerely write down all your bad habits that you want to let go even from now, and humbly cry to the Holy Spirit to help you purge them out by His power in Jesus' name. Amen!

LightWord: “I will behave myself wisely in a perfect way.” Psalm 101:2 Work towards changing your bad attitudes this year. Cultivate good behaviours. Learn it and practice it. Ask God for help. Even when isn't that convenient, keep building towards good attitudes, let people smell it from you; the reward is out of this world. Your life will really change if you change (replace) your bad habit of entertaining yourself with the good habit of educating yourself . Start reading books, attending seminars, taking courses that will change your life, develop a disciplined prayer life. And you will thank yourself for helping yourself. Say this to yourself: Thank You Father because by the special grace of God I'm done with the life of indiscipline. My life is worth a living this year and I shall be fulfilled in Jesus' name. Amen!

LightWord: “Do you not know that those who run in a race all run, but one receives the prize? Run in such a way that you may obtain it.” 1 Corinthians 9:24 Developing your capacity as one of the leg to run in this year race and to emerge a winner is into your skills. While the second leg is your character. And character is major on your attitude. While trying your best to developing your skills, also look into yourself from within and evaluate your characters. How solid is your character? Are there some behaviours that you yourself know isn't good enough, or those that people point to? You may think they don't really matter, but my brother and sister, they do matter. Change! Say this to yourself: Spirit of the living God, I ask You to come into my life and purge me of all my wrongs attitude I'm not willing to let go easily, help me Lord in Jesus' name. Amen!

LightWord: “Do you not know that those who run in a race all run, but one receives the prize? Run in such a way that you may obtain it.” 1 Corinthians 9:24 In any race, it takes two legs to participate. And the two legs needed to participate in the race of another year like this, is essentially capacity and character . Don't forget, we are all in this race but only one receives the prize; so run that you may obtain. Capacity is into your skills. Seeking and gaining more knowledge in your field, how you can do and become better in your career, business, academy, ministry. How you can well manage your time, task, resources and finance. Say this to yourself: Father thank You for Your light that is illuminating my path. Lord, I refuse to be the same this year, as I rise up to taking responsibility, help strengthen me in Jesus' name. Amen!

LightWord: “Do you not know that those who run in a race all run, but one receives the prize? Run in such a way that you may obtain it.” 1 Corinthians 9:24 Nothing just happened! Everything that works are worked by men, then God give it a finishing touch . If you will also give it all it takes by developing yourself in character and capacity, developing more skills in your field Then you will be amaze how things works and not by luck. I pray for you today for the grace to wake up from your sleeping state to taking responsibility, living a life of discipline, giving it what it takes, let that grace rest upon you now. In this new race of another year, you are in it to win it. Say this to yourself: Father I want to be a wonder to many in this year, help me Lord in giving it what and all it takes by Your grace in Jesus' name. Amen!

LightWord: “But by the grace of God I am what I am: and his grace which was bestowed upon me was not in vain; but I laboured more abundantly than they all...” 1 Corinthians 15:10 For this year to be a year with difference, experiencing newness of life, then, you need to build up yourself so well in character and capacity. Don't settle for less, neither for average. There is still room for more : A better way your attitude could be. A more better knowledge you can add to the ones you already know. Warning: don't be part of those who suggest "things just happen"; or those who think "some people are just lucky". There's nothing as luck in excelling. You give it what it takes. ( 1Cor.15:10 ) Say this to yourself: Father, I pray for the Spirit of wisdom and strength by Your grace in doing what I need to do and consistently so to become the best of me You've ordained me to be in Jesus' name. Amen!

They will never have to work for less important people.” Proverbs 22:29 ERV In making the most of this year, stop looking or waiting for opportunity, be the opportunity people (kings) are looking for. Don't let people be fed up by you rather they should be fed by you, after being well developed in capacity and character . It's funny to also know that sometimes people especially religious people do nothing, they only wish to succeed. Most of the time, religiously they say, I know God will do it! God will do what? It's important to know that God will never do for you what you ought to do for yourself. Develop yourself!! Say this to yourself: Father, help me this year in developing myself at every areas that matters that I might scale new heights You've prepared for me this year in Jesus' name. Amen!
