LIGHT WORD

LightWord: “In him was life; and the life was the light of men.” John 1:4 What must I do to be watchful? You have to engage the power of Light. Our focal Scripture of today says, “In him was life; and the life was the light of men.” Definitely it is Light that gives life! When a man is dead, we are simply saying the man has no life in him anymore. The only thing that can change the situation, is to engage the power of light which is a life giver! The power of Light will give you life. Say this to yourself: Lord, I receive Your light into my life, every form of darkness in my life disappear in Jesus' name. Amen!

LightWord: “Wherefore he saith, Awake thou that sleepest, and arises from the dead, and Christ shall give thee light.” Ephesians 5:14    How can I be watchful? The Only way you can be watchful is to change your current operating state, you have to wake up from your spiritual deadness, walking away from the darkness. Listen to the echo of the Spirit saying awake and arise. When you wake up, you need to also stand up, that Christ may give you light and that you might engage in that light till His return. Say this to yourself: Lord, I am ready to stand up and awake from my sleep, let Your glorious light shine upon me brighter than the shadow of death and help me to engage in this light for ever in Jesus' name. Amen!

LightWord: “Wherefore he saith, Awake thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give thee light.” Ephesians 5:14 An important question right here, must we be a victim of a negative prophecy of the great falling away that must come upon the church? Isn't there a way we can exempt ourselves? Yes, there is a way. That's why God is blowing the trumpet again in Zion, and sounding this alarm upon His holy mountain saying; awake awake thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give thee light. Say this to yourself: Lord I choose light, let Your glorious light shine upon me brighter than the shadow of death. I choose to remain in faith, help me Lord in Jesus' name. Amen!

LightWord: “Wherefore he saith, Awake thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give thee light.” Ephesians 5:14 There is an irreversible prophecy on ground that establishes that before the return of the Lord, first, there is going to be a massive falling away of Christians from the Faith. This is clear from 2 Thess. 2:3. Unfortunately, we can't pray this verse away! The only question is, are you going to let this negative prophecy catch up with you? He that thinks he stands, let him be watchful, else he fall. You should not fall, so stand in faith, be watchful! Say this to yourself: Lord, help my faith; let me remain, stand firm, and even grow stronger in the faith. Please Father, I do not want to fall away neither be a cast away in Jesus' name. Amen!

LightWord: “Wherefore let him that thinketh he standeth take heed lest he falls.” 1 Corinthians 10:12 The devil is hunting after the precious and he is using the children of the kingdom to achieve his aims. Unfortunately, most people only identify with the kingdom but they are not certified members. They are in church but never in touch. Get to know once again, it's end time already, be watchful. This is not time to play down on prayer or on the Word. It's the time to engage your entire heart in the things of the Spirit , for the day of the Master’s coming can’t be posted on our calendars. He won’t call ahead and make an appointment any more than a burglar would. Say this to yourself: Father, help my faith, let Your Holy Spirit redirect my focus on You Lord and rekindled the fire of God in me in Jesus' name. Amen!

LightWord: “Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.” Philippians 2:12 We all know that at this present time, the world is moving away from God into the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes and the pride of life. When you are in a river flowing in the opposite direction from where you want to go, it takes effort to swim against the current just to maintain your position. If there is no effort, one would be washed out to sea or wherever the river is traveling. That's why working out your own salvation requires effort, you are not saved to relax. Say this to yourself: Father Lord guide my direction, I ask for Your divine leading in all my daily endeavors in Jesus' name. Amen!

LightWord: “Blessed is that servant, whom his lord when he cometh shall find so doing.” Matthew 24:46 Jesus is coming for those that are in Him not those in church, not just with those with the name Christian. If you're not consistent you're not part of the saved. Fortunately, He is not coming for all but only the saved. This is a special message from Him to you, He asked me to tell you, it is about to rain, come to Christ, and receive salvation. Good news, it's for free! Say this to yourself: Father Lord, I come to You for my salvation and I receive it today by grace in Jesus' name Amen!

LightWord: “Blessed is that servant, whom his lord when he cometh shall find so doing.” Matthew 24:46 The sky is full, it is about to rain, are you going to be caught unaware? Are you really ready for this rain! It's not going to be as usual, it's going to be heavy, you need to be covered. Only those that sit in the secret can receive this covering and be fully protected. Are you fully in Christ, or you come and go? Please answer that question sincerely in your heart, because He is coming for those that are in Him not those in Church. Say this to yourself: Father, help me to be prepared for this rain, I don't want to be caught unaware in Jesus' name. Amen!

LightWord: “Wherefore he saith, Awake thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give thee light” Ephesians 5:14 Jesus already got the victory. So, you are not fighting for victory but in victory, hallelujah! Beyond the distractions, battles, pandemic, war, you must not lose focus, you must remain standby, always guided. You must be ready and prepared like a bride waiting for her groom. If there is a time designed to take God seriously than ever before, then the time is now . Wake up and let Christ shine His light upon you. Say this to yourself: Father, thank You because I'm not going to be distracted, I'm waking up and Your gracious light is shining on on me till You return in Jesus' name. Amen!

LightWord: “Wherefore he saith, Awake thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give thee light” Ephesians 5:14 "Distraction is everywhere, it is not easy for me to prepare at all times, I gave my life to Christ and I don't really think we have to stress it this way." Oh! Really? You might be right but you're wrong. Scripture never promises us salvation free of distraction or even tribulation , Scripture says in this world many things will happen but if you're in Christ and for Him, then, be of good cheers I have overcome the world.  Say this to yourself: Lord, I refuse to be distracted, I declare a focus and prepared life for You alone. As I  awake from my sleeping state, give me light in Jesus' name. Amen!

LightWord: “And that, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep: for now, is our salvation nearer than when we believed.” Romans 13:11 The night is far spent, the day is at hand. Let us take time to audit ourselves: are you still finding it difficult to worship God with your life? Are you so distracted and lose focus that you cannot study God's Word in 30 minutes and you are tired? Wait a minute, I need you to audit these things because your place of interest is a pointer to where you are going to end . Audit your ways now, and mend your ways, He is ready to take you back and get you back on your feet watching. Say this to yourself: Lord, my heart, my soul, and my life belongs to You. My interest is in You Lord, help my faith in Jesus name Amen!

LightWord: “And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh.” Luke 21:28 Just a few years ago, the whole nation trembled at the impact of a deadly virus that comes upon the earth, world market becomes tough, economy holocaust everywhere. Close down, lockdown and many more create a serious negative impact on all. And many see reasons to forget about serving the God that saves them. But Scripture says when these things begin to take place, straighten up and lift up your heads, be aware, be watchful because your redemption is drawing nearer . Say this to yourself: I refuse to be distracted, I refuse to lose focus, I receive grace to be at alert in Jesus' name. Amen!

LightWord: “And that, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep: for now, is our salvation nearer than when we believed.” Romans 13:11 From our focal Scripture of today, Apostle Paul says here that knowing the time, the high time to be awake is very paramount because some seasons must not catch you unaware. We must always be at alert. We must always be watchful and prepared. When certain seasons come at some particular time, sleeping could be so dangerous. A time where sleeping could make us lose all we have spent our lives guarding. My Question again is what says the time now? Say this to yourself: Father Lord, I don't want to be ignorant of this time, let not this season caught me sleeping but fully awake and watchful by Your grace in Jesus' name. Amen!

LightWord: “And that, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep: for now, is our salvation nearer than when we believed.” Romans 13:11 Now is the time to awake out of sleep of carnal security, sloth, and negligence. It's high time we awake out of the sleep of spiritual slumbering and out of the sleep of spiritual deadness. Considering the time, a perilous time, also very necessary the salvation nigh at hand. Let us mind our way, our salvation is nearer than the time we believed. Let's make ourselves ready, the night is far spent, the day is at hand. Say this to yourself: I declare I'm fully awake out of my spiritual death by the help of the Holy Spirit, and I cast off the sinful work of darkness, I call the light of God into my Life in Jesus' name. Amen!

LightWord: “Blessed is that servant, whom his lord when he cometh shall find so doing.” Matthew 24:46 This is the Lord drawing our ears to be awakened especially in time like this. To take seriously the ministry we have received of Him, to do it diligently, patiently waiting for His return. For all these signs all over the world clearly defines the end-time nearer than we think. Are you truly ready for His coming back? Hope you will not be caught unaware? Say this to yourself: Father Lord, help me to diligently serve You and to always be prepared for You my Savior in Jesus' name. Amen!

LightWord: “Blessed is that servant, whom his lord when he cometh shall find so doing.” Matthew 24:46 Do you know with the issues going on around the world today, it's no longer a news that truly the coming of Jesus Christ is fast approaching? And He is coming only for the prepared servant. Are you at alert? Because we are in a very serious time, and this is another opportunity God is giving the Church to awake out of her sleep. Say this to yourself: Father Lord, I thank You for this awesome opportunity for reawakening and awakening me from my sleep. Lord I ask for Your divine revelation in this series and that You will help me to stay alert in Jesus' name. Amen!

LightWord: “Blessed is that servant, whom his lord when he cometh shall find so doing.” Matthew 24:46 I welcome you to another powerful series, “Be Watchful” and by the special grace of God, I believe you will encounter a strong awakening from any area you might have been sleeping. I pray you receive grace to always be ready and prepared for the coming of the Master. From our focal Scripture, there is a kind of servant called Blessed! That's a servant finds so doing when his lord shall return. Say this to yourself: Lord Jesus, thank You for a quick reminder of Your coming back, may I receive the grace not to be caught unaware at Your returning in Jesus' name. Amen!
