LIGHT WORD

LightWord: “Thou shalt be blessed above all people: there shall not be male or female barren among you, or among your cattle.” Deuteronomy 7:14 The Scripture above says, you shall be blessed above everyone else, God said you shall not be barren because not even your cattles are permitted to be barren. But only those that receive such words and even believe it will be empowered to become it. It doesn't matter what you're going through right now, even if nothing seem similar to the Word of God in your direction, all you have to do is to receive God's Word, keep confessing it, meditate upon it, believe it by doing all that it required and you shall become it. Say this to yourself: Thank You Father for Your Word that empowers us to become what You designed us to be. I decree and declare my heart is receptive to every of Your Word in Jesus' name. Amen!

LightWord: “Never stop reciting these teachings. You must think about them night and day so that you will faithfully do everything written in them. Only then will you prosper and succeed.” Joshua 1:8 GW Everything you need to do is written therein in the Word of God - you don't have to be looking for it where you can't find it - observe to do, and the end product is that you will be empowered to prosper and have not just a success but a good success. The Word of God is an inexhaustible resource . It provides everything needed to succeed in life and eternal. Hope you know God is not a liar? Hope you don't forget that whatever He says He will do? Hope you know He remains faithful? Say this to yourself: Thank You Father for Your Word. By the reason of Your Word I am empowered to prosper and do greater exploits in Jesus' name. Amen!

Only then will you prosper and succeed.” Joshua 1:8 GW I use to say, if it Biblical, then it is practical . Beginning from the first book of Moses, we could understand how God downloaded to Abraham everything good about his destiny (see Gen.12 ); Father Abraham did as commanded but without full understanding. Yet because of God's love for him (as for us too), He reminded him what things are needed to be done ( Ps62:11 ). Abraham harkened, and it ended well with him. God said to Joshua, you don't have no problem to become what I ordained you to be, just don't let for a minute this word depart from you. Say this to yourself: Thank You Father for Your Word that won't depart from my mouth, and by the reason of Your Word I am empowered to prosper and do greater exploits in Jesus' name. Amen!

LightWord: “But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name.” John 1:12 God's Word is practical, not magical. Therefore, to become everything written concerning us from the word, then we need to give it a practical approach . “as many as received him, to them gave he power to become...” This things are not magical because if you believe so, you will only produce a miserable result. The Word of God which is the Bible is full of life applicable principles. That's why He says you observe to do. ( Joshua 1:8, James 1:22 ). Say this to yourself: Thank You Father because I receive the divine enablement to do according to Your Word with full understanding in Jesus' name. Amen!

LightWord: “But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name.” John 1:12 Today, many don't struggle with finances, why? because they received the word and believed the word . Some are enjoying divine health and that is how it will be for the rest of their lives. The same marriage that didn't last a night in some people's lives is what some have been enjoying and not the other way round, but even gets better for over five decades now. Why? Just because they know what it takes. Say this to yourself: Lord, I believe in the power of Your Word to make me to be everything great written about my destiny in Jesus' name. Amen!

LightWord: “But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name.” John 1:12 God's word says as many as received the word: it has nothing to do with numbers; it is as many as possible. To those who can receive the word and even believe in it will be empowered to become the word. Received the word in terms of getting engaged with the word to do everything written therein . We have more a thousand promises of God in the word but only those that received it 'any of the word' will be empowered to become it. Say this to yourself: Thank You Lord for the empowerment in Your word. I declare today by Your word that I am empowered forever in Jesus' name. Amen!

LightWord: “But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name.” John 1:12 The Scripture here is talking about Jesus which is the Word of God. In verse 1 of the same chapter we could understand clearly that Jesus is referred to be the Word; and as many as received the Word, to them he empowered to become what the Word says. Nothing good can be done of us until we are empowered . Even Jesus couldn't carry out His assignment here on earth till He was empowered. To do anything good as we are ordained or destined to do so (Matt.5:14-16, 1Pet.2:9), we need to be empowered. It's a need not what we may want, because a need is what helps us to function. Say this to yourself: Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, give me full understanding to be empowered in order to become everything You destined me to be in Jesus' name. Amen!

LightWord: “But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name.” John 1:12 Isn't it funny today that many claimed to be the sons of God, even the unbelievers. But of a truth, who are the real sons of God? Our focal Scripture of today already given us what it takes to become sons of God from the inward to outward. The word 'Power' in that Scripture is 'exousia' in Greek word which means capacity, delegated, authority, eligibility, potentate. And this power can only be given to you after you have received Him . Who? Jesus, the living Word! Say this to yourself: Thank You Father for Your son Jesus Christ and through Him in me I'm empowered to become the son of God in Jesus'name. Amen!

LightWord: “If thou faint in the day of adversity, thy strength is small.” Proverbs 24:10 The Second foundational source of strength to anyone especially the believer is to maintain the joy of the Lord in their life . The joy of the Lord remains the secret of the strength of the saints. Nehemiah 8:10 says “...for the joy of the Lord is your strength.” The more joyful you are, the stronger you become daily Proverbs 17:22 . Therefore, rejoice and again I say rejoice. Rejoice evermore! Say this to yourself: Thank You Father for I am filled with the fullness of the Spirit of joy. Irrespective of anything going on around me, I decree and declare a joyful being, a stronger being I am everyday of my life in Jesus' name. Amen!

LightWord: “If thou faint in the day of adversity, thy strength is small.” Proverbs 24:10 Scripture says in Proverbs 6:2 that people are snared by the words of their mouth. Hello, negative thought might cross your mind though, but do not be tempted to say it out. Jesus says “take no thought, saying...” ( Matt.6:31 ). So, if you cannot be positive, at least be quiet . The Bible makes it very clear that if you faint in the day of trouble, that is real weakness. And as a child of God, you ought to go from strength to strength not from being weak to real weakness (Psalm 84:7). Say this to yourself: Thank You Father because I can do all things through Christ, I am favored everywhere round, all things are working together for my good, I'm living a victorious life in Jesus' name. Amen!

LightWord: “If thou faint in the day of adversity, thy strength is small.” Proverbs 24:10 Do you want to go from strength to strength living a victorious life? Then you must ever take note of this two foundational source of strength. First, you must be very careful of what comes out of your mouth. Your words! Joel 3:10 says “...let the weak say I am strong.” No one ever remain strong in the Lord without the correct use of his tongue . Remember, just Joshua and Caleb by name among twelve says what's right with their mouth and only the two were recorded saved from being a victim. Say this to yourself: Thank You Holy Spirit for giving me control over my tongue, that even when I'm about to say what's wrong, it will turn out saying what's good and right for my edification in Jesus' name. Amen!

LightWord: “And now abide faith, hope, love, these three; but the greatest of these is love.” 1 Corinthians 13:13 NKJV It is impossible for the believer consumed by love to live in sin at the same time. When you step out of love, you walk in sin's realm. Love and life are interchangeable. Where love is, you will find life. The New Testament has only one commandment, Love! 1 John 3:23  If you entertain bitterness and ill-will concerning anyone even an unbeliever, you block the effectiveness of your prayer. Love is essential. Do not allow the slightest seed of unforgiveness in your heart. Refuse it absolutely. Love is essential to answered prayer. Fasting cannot take its place. Faith cannot. No other things can. Say this to yourself: Father thank You for purifying and cleansing my heart from every form of unforgiveness that my prayers may not be hindered any more in Jesus' name. Amen!

LightWord: “And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these is charity.” 1 Corinthians 13:13 For your prayer to be effective and gets heaven's attention, you must walk in love . Paul identifies love as the greatest of the three important spiritual qualities of faith, love and hope. It is not by chance that Jesus demanded love as a prerequisite to successful prayer. ( Matthew 6:12, 14-15 ).  Outside love, there is no effectual prayer. Even Faith works by love. (Galatians 5:6) . God is love. Love is not something we can detach from God. It is His nature. Being God's children, we are creatures of love. Therefore, we must love. Say this to yourself: Father thank You for Your grace upon my life to always and always walk in love for my prayers to be effective always in Jesus' name. Amen!

LightWord: “Cast not away therefore your confidence, which has great recompense of reward. For ye have need of patience, that, after ye have done the will of God, ye might receive the promise.” Hebrews 10:35-36 Winners don't quit, and quitters don't win. Refuse to quit . By action and by word of mouth, many have cast away their confidence in God and His ability, and even His willingness to answer prayer. "Do not quit the line" is a good admonition. For if you must receive, then you must be prepared to hold out in faith. We must have tenacious faith. Jesus told the parable of the unjust judge in Luke 18:1-8. It was a triumph of faith over great obstacles. The period between prayer and manifestation is sustained by faith.  Say this to yourself: Father in the name of Jesus I refuse to quit, I hold on to my faith in You and I know my answers are here in Jesus' name. Amen!

LightWord: “Be careful for nothing; And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.” Philippians 4:6-7 Worry and anxiety are symptoms of unbelief. If you believe in the ability of God to intervene in your situation, you will have rest and peace . In Genesis 15, God promised Abraham an heir. He and Sarah his wife waited several years. Then it seemed to them that God would not make good His promise. Abraham was tempted: So Sarah was. They made a great mistake through the moment of anxiety. If you believe God truly, you will be relaxed. Say this to yourself: Father, I ask for Your overflowing peace in my heart as I pray and believe You have done it already in Jesus' name. Amen!

LightWord: “Be careful for nothing; but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your request be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.” Philippians 4:6-7 You don't pray just because you want to pray, there are principles to follow before your prayer can become effective and gets heaven's attention. You go to God in prayer first with praise. Be specific. Ask according to His will. Ask in the name of Jesus. Ask in faith. Be earnest in your prayer. Believe you receive and thank God for the answer. After that, then, the next thing is to be relaxed. The Bible has much to say about worry and anxiety. Worry and anxiety will cause you to want to act ahead of God. Say this to yourself: Father, thank You because I will put all my trust in Your Word and as I pray in line with Your Word, I receive definite answers in Jesus' name. Amen!

LightWord: “Therefore I say unto you, what things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.” Mark 11:24 If you want your prayers to be effective then also believe you have the answer and give thanks ( Mark 11:24, Luke 1:45 ). The Scriptures emphasize one important principle in effectual prayer. You must believe, at the time you pray, that God has granted already the thing you desire of Him. Believing is seeing, and this is the exact opposite of what the world is accustomed to, that, seeing is believing. This is extremely important. If you are waiting for the arrival of the thing desired before believing, you will miss it entirely. You have to do what even God did. Rom.4:17 Say this to yourself: Father, I believe that all my prayers are answered and I give You thanks in Jesus' name. Amen!

LightWord: “The earnest (heartfelt, continued) prayer of a righteous man makes tremendous power available — dynamic in its working.” James 5:16 AMPC What pumps power to your prayer is when you are being earnest. Earnest means serious determination. When your heart is fixed on something. Therefore, as used in reference to prayer, earnestness means heartfelt prayer. It is the heartfelt prayer of the righteous that God reckons with.  James 5:17-18 . The reason why you must be earnest is that God looks into the heart. Half­hearted prayer, or prayer that has root only in the mind of the person praying, will have little or no effect. Say this to yourself: Father, thank You because my heart will always be connected with You while praying without any iota of distraction or undetermination in Jesus' name. Amen!

LightWord: “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.” Hebrews 11:1 What Is Faith? Scripture above defines faith. Now, this is how it works. The word of God is the promise... This promise is not seen with the physical eye. This promise is what you hope for. Faith will make it happen in the physical. In other words, faith will make what you are hoping for a reality . Faith transforms the unseen to the seen. When something happens before you believe in its existence, that is not faith. This is the evidence of the sense. Say this to yourself: Thank You Father because I am fully persuaded that what You promised, You are able to bring to pass in my life in Jesus' name. Amen!

LightWord: “And blessed is she that believed: for there shall be a performance of those things which were told her from the Lord.” Luke 1:45 From Matthew 9 , many could receive healing, because they believed. So, you see that to change your situation, it is not by weeping and self affliction. Neither is it by long association with God. ( Matthew 13:58 ) God can do nothing for you except you believe that He can do it . So ask in faith. For blessed is she that believeth: for there shall be a performance of those things which have been told her from the Lord . Say this to yourself: Father thank You for faith is rising in me, I ask in faith, I ask big, I ask with boldness and I receive answers to my prayers in Jesus' name. Amen!
