It's Great To Serve God! Part 13

Image
LightWord: “I am coming soon. Hold on to what you have so that no one can take away your crown.” Revelation 3:11 [NET] The Pastor said if a Christian hides (ignores) his talent and ministry, that Christian is not fruitful. Nkechi broke down in tears and repented. She knew she had been playing with her reward and walking in disobedience. After hearing God's Word and touching her heart so deep from the preacher, the next week, she applied to join the choir. Just as it is written, the reward of her services manifested. Say this to yourself: Thank You Father, God of the second chance. By the help of the Holy Spirit let there be corrections of every error causing me not to serve as I ought in Jesus' name. Amen!

LightWord: “I am coming soon. Hold on to what you have so that no one can take away your crown.” Revelation 3:11 [NET] The next day, Nkechi heard her pastor preaching from John 15 . He said that the reason many Christians do not see answered prayers is because they are not fruitful (see John 15:16 ). The Pastor went on to define fruitfulness as when your life produces the fruit of the spirit and also when it produces the fruit of God’s investment in you (gifts). He now went on to use singing as an example; Say this to yourself: Lord Jesus, help me to deal with everything depriving me of my real blessing as a reward from serving You in Jesus' name. Amen!

LightWord! “I am coming soon. Hold on to what you have so that no one can take away your crown.” Rev 3:11 [NET]  Every servant of God is entitled to greatness. Serving God really pays, and it is proofed to pays the most . Nkechi knew she was supposed to be singing and using her beautiful voice to edify many and draw them to the kingdom of God. But she was too busy with her bank job to think about that. One day, she lost her job and had to pray to the Lord to help her find another one or find something productive to do. As she prayed, she knew that her prayers were not going anywhere. She started asking the Lord why she didn’t feel the flow of His Spirit and the normal assurance she would receive when she prayed. The next day... Say this to yourself: Father please help me to deal with every distraction that may seem very important, hindering me from serving You the way I should, thereby depriving me of my real blessing as a reward in Jesus' name. Amen!

LightWord: “But he that is greatest among you shall be your servant.” Matthew 23:11 Do you know man awards, God rewards? The difference between the two is that the award will only last for a period of time while the reward lasts forever; yet both come in credit to your services. There is no reward without you working for it, it comes as a result of your work. One thing is certain, God is never a robber, He is a great Rewarder. He doesn't use you and dump you, He uses you and makes you. Apostle Paul can tell you that the reward of everyone He called (that serves Him) is glory. Romans 8:17 . I can assure you, when you are a real servant of God practically by serving Him, you don't beg Him for some great stuff, they are just there for you as a reward. Say this to yourself: Father, today I receive the required grace to serve You and serve you all the days of my life genuinely, committedly, tirelessly, joyfully and rejoicingly that my reward might be great in Jesus' name. Amen...

LightWord: “I have found David my servant; with my holy oil have I anointed him.” Psalm 89:20 You can be a layman and still be a bonafide servant of the most high God. It is not necessary you wait till you are ordained as a pastor or an evangelist, or as of any title before you can serve God or before your services to Him can be acceptable. A confirmed original servant of God simply means anyone engaged in serving God. Do you know Job wasn't a pastor neither a prophet? Yet, God was proud and bold of him. God said to the devil have you noticed Job my servant Job 1:8 , David was just a king but he served God and became God's favorite. ( See Ps. 89:20-38 ). With God, ordination doesn't come before service but vice-versa. Just serve God as you are, everywhere you can and become God's favorite. Say this to yourself: Thank You Father because as I'm serving You, I'm confirmed Your favorite from today and I'm favored in all my ways in Jesus' name. Amen!

LightWord: “If they obey and serve him, they shall spend their days in prosperity, and their years in pleasures.” Job 36:11 Serving God makes you live a prosperous life. You must understand the fact that there is always room at the top. The top is free and open, but everyone has to make their way to the top - by being committed to serving God tirelessly in whatever area you find yourself. There is a sweeter and better wine at the Wedding of Cana of Galilee but except these disciples were committed to serve Jesus by being obedient to Him then, there can't be result - greatness, pleasantness, and joyfulness John 2:5 . Say this to yourself: Thank You Father for the faithfulness of Your Word. Make me an obedient servant that will always serve You with a willing mind and a perfect heart in Jesus' name. Amen!

LightWord: “And there shall be no more curse: but the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it; and his servants shall serve him.” Revelation 22:3 The truth is Jesus became a curse for your sake that He might redeem you from all curses and its effects. Now, to enjoy the blessing of this curse-free life, serving God is a requirement, Scripture says and His servants shall serve Him. You must continually serve God and tirelessly. Serving God makes you live a secured life. A curse-free, sorrow-free, stress-free life. God said as long as you are serving Him there shall be no more curse over your life. That's the reward! Say this to yourself: Father, as I choose to serve You all my life, let every curse upon my life and all that concerns me be reverted forever in Jesus' name. Amen!

It's Great To Serve God! Part 6

LightWord: “And there shall be no more curse: but the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it; and his servants shall serve him.” Revelation 22:3 Know for sure that every lover of God carries God's presence everywhere round and are covered with His honor. Are you serving God in one way or the other or not yet? If yes, congratulations, these are your entitlements. But if not, find a solution to it today. Serving God comes with greater rewards . Curse is an embargo, it destroys one's destiny and makes one's life miserable. But do you know what? No one in heaven and on the earth can curse you and have any negative effect on your life when God has not cursed you. Num.23:8 . Say this to yourself: Father, a curse-free life is what I desire, give me the required grace to continually serve You tirelessly that I may live a curse-free life, enjoying Your blessing every day of my life in Jesus' name. Amen!

LightWord: “No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other...” Matthew 6:24 Serving God is a proof of your love for Him ; and what comes as a result of it is that, you will be enlisted among the top flyers on earth: because every lover of God is a no living wonders on earth. Among other things, every lover of God - will live a life of dominion Isa.65:13-15 , they will live a life of no condemnation Rom.8:33. Every lover of God will live a blessed life, freely enjoying every good and perfect gifts of God Ps 112, Rom.8:32-39 . Say this to yourself: Thank You Father because my service for You are not without reward, therefore, in this season, as I'm proofing my love for You by serving You the more, make me a living wonder to my generation and generations to come in Jesus' name. Amen!

It's Great To Serve God! Part 4

Image
LightWord: “But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.” Hebrews 11:6 Serving God willingly, cheerfully, joyfully guarantees a reward, a great reward from the Lord. When you serve the Lord with all your heart, and all your mind, and all your life, then your reward is so certain, believe me, at due season it will shower on you mightily. You are not the type to beg for bread to eat nor look for where to sleep; serving God makes you to be a special candidate for supernatural supply of all you may ever desire as your reward. Isa. 65:13-15 Say this to yourself: Thank You Lord for my reward will be so evidence at this season for the world to see and glorify God in my life in Jesus's name. Amen!

It's Great To Serve God! Part 3

Image
LightWord: “But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.” Hebrews 11:6 Serving God gives you peace and comfort even when your battle is in process with an assurance of complete victory. Forget about your challenges, get yourself relieved from all battles, serve the Lord with gladness and gain victory at all time as a reward that comes with it. ( Ps 100:2-3 ) God is a rewarder and not a robber, that's what makes serving God so great. God said in His word that He will reward those that seek Him first, not as second option or an alternative - but those  that diligently seek Him: that is, serve Him wholeheartedly. Say this to yourself: Father, I thank You for Your undefeatable power. Today I declare as I'm serving You with all my life, fight my battles on my behalf and give me the victory in Jesus' name. Amen!

It's Great To Serve God! Part 2

Image
LightWord: “But if you obey him and do everything I tell you, I’ll be an enemy to your enemies, I’ll fight those who fight you.” Exodus 23:22 MSG You cannot be serving God and still be serving sickness, barrenness, unfruitfulness, lack and want at the same time? It's impossible! Ex. 23:25-26. That makes serving God so great. Do you know it is lack of knowledge that makes many today fighting their battles themselves? After all, there cannot be total victory even if there will be victory at all because the Scripture says by strength shall no man prevail. Say this to yourself: Father I thank You for Your undefeatable power. Today I declare as I'm serving You with all my life, I will never service negativity in my life in Jesus' name. Amen!

It's Great To Serve God!

Image
LightWord: “If righteous people listen and serve ⌊him⌋, they will live out their days in prosperity and their years in comfort.” Job 36:11 GW Beloved, can I remind you once again that serving God pays, and it pays the best, it pays the most; no services rendered anywhere for anyone in this world that can be more valuable or as valuable as the reward for serving God; Not just that they don't have the capacity alone, they don't also have the ability. The rewards that come from serving God are so great and it's a huge blessing. For instance, do you know you cannot be serving God and still be serving negativity. No! Say this to yourself: Thank You Father for You are my God in whom I serve. As I rededicate my life in serving You in a greater way from today, make my life a living proof of how great serving You is in Jesus' name. Amen!

STRENGTH! Part 3

Image
LightWord: “If thou faint in the day of adversity, thy strength is small.” Proverbs 24:10 The Second foundational source of strength to anyone especially the believer is to maintain the joy of the Lord in their lives. The joy of the Lord remains the secret of the strength of the saints. Nehemiah 8:10 says “...for the joy of the Lord is your strength.” The more joyful you are, the stronger you become daily Proverbs 17:22 . Therefore, rejoice and again I say rejoice. Rejoice evermore! Say this to yourself: Thank You Father for I am filled with the fullness of the Spirit of joy. Irrespective of anything going on around me, I decree and declare a joyful being, a stronger being I am everyday of my life in Jesus' name. Amen!

STRENGTH! Part 2

Image
LightWord: “If thou faint in the day of adversity, thy strength is small.” Proverbs 24:10 Scripture says in Proverbs 6:2 that people are snared by the words of their mouth. Hello, negative thought might cross your mind though, but do not be tempted to say it out. Jesus says “take no thought, saying...” (Matt. 6:31). So, if you cannot be positive, at least be quiet. The Bible makes it very clear that if you faint in the day of trouble, that is real weakness. And as a child of God, you ought to go from strength to strength not from being weak to real weakness ( Psalm 84:7 ). Say this to yourself: Thank You Father because I can do all things through Christ, I am favored everywhere round, all things are working together for my good, I'm living a victorious life in Jesus' name. Amen!

STRENGTH!

Image
LightWord: “If thou faint in the day of adversity, thy strength is small.” Proverbs 24:10 Do you want to go from strength to strength living a victorious life? Then you must ever take note of this two foundational source of strength. First, you must be very careful of what comes out of your mouth . Your words! Joel 3:10 says “...let the weak say I am strong.” No one ever remain strong in the Lord without the correct use of his tongue. Remember, just Joshua and Caleb by name among twelve says what's right with their mouth and only the two were recorded saved from being a victim. Say this to yourself: Thank You Holy Spirit for giving me control over my tongue, that even when I'm about to say what's wrong, it will turn out saying what's good and right for my edification in Jesus' name. Amen!

Pursue Your Strengths! Part 2

Image
LightWord: “Do not neglect your gift...” 1 Timothy 4:14 NIV There is something that you’re good at naturally—something you can do that comes easy to you. Step out into your area of gifting. Are you good with people? Are you good with your hands? Do you have a great voice? Find ways to develop those gifts. Know that your gifts and talents are a part of your divine destiny . If you’ll be comfortable with who God made you to be and thank Him for your unique gifting, you’ll not only enjoy your life more, but you’ll be ready to receive the abundant blessing God has in store for you! Say this to yourself: Father, I ask that You show and enable me how to develop the gifts within me for Your glory in Jesus’ name. Amen!

Pursue Your Strengths!

Image
LightWord: “Do not neglect your gift...” 1 Timothy 4:14, NIV God has equipped each one of us with specific gifts and talents. It’s up to you to not only identify those gifts, but to be disciplined to develop those gifts. You have to learn to stay in your strength zone. What are you naturally good at? What do you enjoy doing? Take the time to identify your strengths and weaknesses, and as the Scripture says, give yourself to your gifts. In other words, don’t spend all your time trying to improve your weaknesses. Don’t waste valuable days pursuing things that are outside of your main gifting. Focus on your strengths. The Bible says God will take care of that by His grace "My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness....." (2 Cor. 12:9) Say this to yourself: Heavenly Father, thank You for equipping me with everything I need to be successful in this life in Jesus' name. Amen!

Just Imagine! Part 2

Image
LightWord: “…and now nothing they have imagined they can do will be impossible for them.” Genesis 11:6 AMPC Before you get that godly wife/husband, before you break the addiction, you have to see it happening in your imagination. Nothing defines destiny like mentality; because as a man thinks in his heart, so is he. Today, instead of thinking about your problems, think about God’s promises. Get a vision for what He has in store for your future. Imagine yourself living in victory. Imagine yourself healed. Imagine yourself walking in abundance. Imagine yourself blessing other people. Just imagine what God has in store for you because nothing is impossible with Him! Say this to yourself: Father, help me to see myself the way You see me so that I can imagine and live in the blessing You have in store for me in Jesus' name. Amen!

Just Imagine!

Image
LightWord: “…and now nothing they have imagined they can do will be impossible for them.” Genesis 11:6 AMPC How often do you stop and think about what you are thinking about? So often, people live with their minds on autopilot, taking in whatever thoughts come their way. But if we are going to rise up higher the way God intends, we have to determine to make sure our thoughts line up with God’s thoughts. Seven times in the Scripture, God asks, “What do you see?” God is interested in our vision. Before your dream comes to pass, you have to see yourself accomplishing that dream. You’ve got to get a picture of it. The truth is, the future you did not picture, you cannot feature in it. Say this to yourself: Father, today I set my heart and mind on You. Give me Your vision for my future in Jesus' name. Amen!

Remain! Part 2

Image
LightWord: “If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you.” John 15:7 NKJV God doesn’t want us to live life like a roller coaster. He wants to bring us to a place of stability where we remain strong in Him. Jesus said, “I am the vine. You are the branches. If you abide in Me, you will bear much fruit and your fruit will remain.” The word “remain” means “to be fixed, immovable, not affected by circumstances.” If you will just keep abiding in Him, just keep meditating on His Word, He’ll bring you through. He’ll make you strong, He’ll keep you stable, and you’ll keep moving forward into the life of blessing He has prepared for you! Say this to yourself: Father, thank You for Your unchanging Word that is capable of stabilizing me under any circumstances. Today, I choose to remain in You and follow Your leading in everything I do in Jesus' name. Amen!
