The next day, Nkechi heard her pastor preaching from John 15. He said that the reason many Christians do not see answered prayers is because they are not fruitful (see John 15:16).


The Pastor went on to define fruitfulness as when your life produces the fruit of the spirit and also when it produces the fruit of God’s investment in you (gifts). He now went on to use singing as an example;


Say this to yourself: Lord Jesus, help me to deal with everything depriving me of my real blessing as a reward from serving You in Jesus' name. Amen!

It's Great To Serve God! Part 9

LightWord: “I have found David my servant; with my holy oil have I anointed him.” Psalm 89:20 You can be a layman and still be a bonafide servant of the most high God. It is not necessary you wait till you are ordained as a pastor or an evangelist, or as of any title before you can serve God or before your services to Him can be acceptable. A confirmed original servant of God simply means anyone engaged in serving God. Do you know Job wasn't a pastor neither a prophet? Yet, God was proud and bold of him. God said to the devil have you noticed Job my servant Job 1:8 , David was just a king but he served God and became God's favorite. ( See Ps. 89:20-38 ). With God, ordination doesn't come before service but vice-versa. Just serve God as you are, everywhere you can and become God's favorite. Say this to yourself: Thank You Father because as I'm serving You, I'm confirmed Your favorite from today and I'm favored in all my ways in Jesus' name. Amen!
