LIGHT WORD

  LightWord: “For even the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many.” Mark 10:45 As long as Jesus is our Master, then we are obligated to follow His path and leading. He is a Minister called to served and so we are. We are all called to serve in our ministerial work as Christians. That's the platform God has designed for our greatness. And as ministers of the gospel, we must be dedicated, sold-out and highly committed to service. Serving God by serving others regardless of the cost. Because it is the very platform for everyone to be truly great. Say this to yourself: Father, thank You for revealing the mystery behind greatness unto me. Now I humbly ask for the grace to serve You in accordance to Your Word in Jesus' name. Amen!

LightWord: “But he that is greatest among you shall be your servant.” Matthew 23:11 To be truly great in life, serve others especially in the areas of fulfilling your God's given purpose . If you have this understanding then you will stay rooted, committed and dedicated to serving God. For instance, if God has called you into singing, and you know it, so why don't you be part of the choristers in your local church; and if you're already a part, why don't you serve in that area committedly and joyfully because that's where your real greatness lies. Say this yourself: Father in the name of Jesus, I ask for zeal to be committed and stay committed in serving You and humanity as You've called and ordained me to in Jesus' name. Amen!

LightWord: “But he that is greatest among you shall be your servant.” Matthew 23:11 Jesus was serving God by serving others. He became a way for them who knows no way, He became the truth for them that knows not the truth, and life for them who has no life. All in doing His Father's business, serving others, and we are still a partaker of His grace today. Message Translation of Mathew 23:11 says “Do you want to stand out? Then step down. Be a servant.” Say this to yourself: Thank You Jesus for Your service that saved me. I desire to become great as You are, give me the abundance of grace I need to serve my generation to the glory of the Father in Jesus' name. Amen!

LightWord: “But he that is greatest among you shall be your servant.” Matthew 23:11 Scripture says in Mark 10vs45 “for even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve...” Serve who? To serve others. So, to be like Jesus is to put on a servanthood garment and serving others. The word of God makes it clear that Jesus didn't come from heaven to the earth in order to be ordained as the Chieftainship of Nazareth, no! but to be a servant, giving his life as a ransom for many. Say this to yourself: Father, thank You for this knowledge coming across my way. Please give me the understanding of Your Word so as to walk in the reality of this greatness in Jesus' name. Amen!

LightWord: “But he that is greatest among you shall be your servant.” Matthew 23:11 God determines your greatness by how many people you serve, not by how many people served you. And truly, you and I can attest to it that our Lord Jesus is great. He is greater than the greatest. If indeed the secrets of great men are in their stories, then we must learn from the story of our Lord Jesus Christ in His Word. Do you know to be like Jesus, is to be a servant? Because that's what He called Himself. Say this to yourself: Father, I want to be like Jesus. Take away the spirit of pride in me and make me a servant just like Jesus, serving others in Jesus' name. Amen!

LightWord: “But he that is greatest among you shall be your servant.” Matthew 23:11 You can imagine the revealing key to greatness from our Lord in our focal Scripture of today, in which it's a mystery to many in the world today. The world defines greatness in terms of possessions, power, prestige or position. If you can demand service from others, you've arrived. In our self-serving culture with its me-first mentality, acting like a servant is not a popular concept. Jesus, however, measured greatness in terms of service, not status. Say this to yourself: Thank You Jesus for unveiling to me the key to greatness. And as I do according to Your word, I shall be great indeed in Jesus' name. Amen!

LightWord: “And he said unto them, Unto you it is given to know the mystery of the kingdom of God: but unto them that are without, all these things are done in parables:” Mark 4:11 What is the secret to true greatness? Serving God! The way to become really great in life is by serving God. You know, many might think they are serving God, not knowing that all they are doing is self-service. By so doing, they are thereby falling out of greatness. My prayer for you today is that, right now, the Holy Ghost will open your spiritual eyes of understanding to really know what it takes to attain greatness. Say this to yourself: Father, make me to know Your way, reveal to me the keys to true greatness in life that I might live within Your ordained ways to greatness in Jesus' name. Amen!

LightWord: “And he said unto them, Unto you it is given to know the mystery of the kingdom of God: but unto them that are without, all these things are done in parables:” Mark 4:11 Jesus says in the Scripture above that we have been given the grace to know the mystery of the kingdom of God. That mystery stands for keys, which also means revelation - which is the working knowledge of the truth. Not just knowing but working it out. and it is certain, revelation (the working knowledge of the truth) will put any man in command anywhere. Scripture says, the secret things belong to God but those things that are revealed are for us and for our children for ever. Deut.29:29 Say this to yourself: Father open up the channel of my spirit, to be able to comprehend the things of the Spirit and to work in the knowledge of this truth of true greatness all my life in Jesus' name. Amen!

LightWord: “And he said unto them, Unto you it is given to know the mystery of the kingdom of God: but unto them that are without, all these things are done in parables:” Mark 4:11 We live in the kingdom that operates in mysteries; and until you know (ensearch, scratch out) the mystery of the kingdom, you cannot gain mastery over the issues of life.  A great man of God once said, until you know what is written you cannot control what is happening . But here we see Jesus saying to us that as long as we are His, then we are eligible to know what is the hidden wisdom of the kingdom. Say this to yourself: Father thank You for the grace given me as Your Child to know the mystery of the kingdom that I might gain mastery over the issues of life in Jesus' name. Amen!

LightWord: “And he said unto them, Unto you it is given to know the mystery of the kingdom of God: but unto them that are without, all these things are done in parables:” Mark 4:11 It is my delight to unveil the secret to greatness to you in this another LightWord series. I pray the eyes of your spiritual understanding being opened. Also that God will give you grace to work in this revelation for life. The direct secret to greatness in life is serving God. I believe you would have heard the word serving God over and again, but probably don't know what it is, or what it takes, or all it takes, or you even desire to know more of it. Well, here we go. Say this to yourself: Father thank You for the revelational knowledge of Your Word. I pray for wisdom and spiritual understanding of Your Word in Jesus' name. Amen!

LightWord: “Therefore whoever hears these sayings of Mine, and does them, I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on the rock.” Matthew 7:24 NKJV Scripture says whoever seek God early shall find Him, yet God says because you have refused to obey Him, though you seek Him as early as possible, you won't find Him. ( Proverbs 8:17, 1:28 ) Why? Because wisdom is a non-negotiable requirement to live a life of peace and prosperity; and that is putting God's Word to practice ( Matthew 7:24 ). Be wise!!  Say this to yourself: Thank You Father for the truth of Your Word. Doing Your will is what guarantees my victory and accomplishment in life, help me to be wise enough in constantly applying the truth of Your Word in Jesus' name. Amen!

LightWord: “Thus says the Lord, your Redeemer, The Holy One of Israel: “I am the Lord your God, Who teaches you to profit, Who leads you by the way you should go. Oh, that you had heeded My commandments! Then your peace would have been like a river, And your righteousness like the waves of the sea.” Isaiah 48:17-18 God's Word is full of truth, full of wonder ways and full of life. It is the only truth that can make your life hundred (100) percent free from all bondages and makes you live your best life now. However, it takes complete obedience to His Word for that to be. The top is free and open for everyone, yet, it takes total obedience of His Word to get there and remain there. (read Deuteronomy 28:1-2 ) Say this to yourself: Lord Jesus, give me grace to make complete obedience of Your Word my lifestyle now and for ever in Jesus' name. Amen!

You simply need God for everything! God over everything! And God is nowhere else but in His Word; surprisingly, many are looking for Him where they cannot see Him. Make your research of Him in His Word. He can be whatever you want Him to be for you. He is I am that I am, that is, He is whatever you want Him to be anytime, anywhere, any day. That is the truth! Yet, for the truth to work for you, then you have to walk in the path of the truth. Say this to yourself: Thank You Father for the unveiling of Your truth, give me the Spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of You to better understand and walk in this truth all my life in Jesus' name. Amen!

LightWord: “If they listen and obey God, they will be blessed with prosperity throughout their lives. All their years will be pleasant.” Job 36:11 NLT Let me tell you, the logic is simple, there's nothing you are looking for today that is not in God. Peace, health, riches and wealth, long life, success, fame, husband, wife, children, name it, everything you need is in Him. Hear Him unveiling the secret to us in Matthew 6:33 . So, in getting all these things, the requirement is just to seek Him, that is, serve Him in accordance to His Word. That's it! This principle is valid till eternity. Say this to yourself: Father thank You for the provision already made available for me as a result of my services. Help me serve You diligently and that in righteousness for the rest of my life in Jesus' name. Amen!

LightWord: “If they listen and obey God, they will be blessed with prosperity throughout their lives. All their years will be pleasant.” Job 36:11 NLT I will never forget these sayings that comes my way at the early stage of my life, it changes my life and is still changing it till date and forever it will be. One of them says, “when you mind God's business, God will mind your business.”  Another says, “when you do God's work proper, God will prosper your work.” Check this also, “when you put God's work as a priority, God will make you His priority.” Think and ponder on these words. Say this to yourself: Thank You Holy Spirit for You will help me in doing my own part to serve God acceptably and appropriately in Your grace in Jesus' name. Amen!

LightWord: “And the Lord said, Shall I hide from Abraham that thing which I do.” Genesis 18:17 The truth is, how committed you are to God's work will determine how committed God will be to your own work. In the Scripture, Pastor James says, the more you get closer to God, the more He makes you His personal person. Check out our father Abraham, how loyal, committed, faithful he is to God, as a result, God confessed He cannot hide anything from Abraham His servant. Say this to yourself: Father thank You for the revelational knowledge  of Your Word. I ask for grace to be completely committed in serving You all my days in Jesus' name. Amen!

LightWord: “I am coming soon. Hold on to what you have so that no one can take away your crown.” Revelation 3:11 [NET] You cannot be serving God and end up in shame in any situation. Serving God is greatly gainful. No one is ever shameful of what is gainful. Are you like Nkechi? Then, it's time for you to repent and even now. Many Christians are walking in half of their spiritual authority and power today because they are not fully walking in their calling. They don’t realize this, that the reason the men of God [they run to] are walking in more spiritual authority is because they are more fully committed to their calling. Say this to yourself: Thank You Father for this chance given me again. Lord Jesus, help me never to be distracted in serving You all the days of my life in Jesus' name. Amen!
