SECRET TO GREATNESS! Part 6

LightWord:

“But he that is greatest among you shall be your servant.” Matthew 23:11


God determines your greatness by how many people you serve, not by how many people served you. And truly, you and I can attest to it that our Lord Jesus is great. He is greater than the greatest.


If indeed the secrets of great men are in their stories, then we must learn from the story of our Lord Jesus Christ in His Word. Do you know to be like Jesus, is to be a servant? Because that's what He called Himself.


Say this to yourself: Father, I want to be like Jesus. Take away the spirit of pride in me and make me a servant just like Jesus, serving others in Jesus' name. Amen!

It's Great To Serve God! Part 9

LightWord: “I have found David my servant; with my holy oil have I anointed him.” Psalm 89:20 You can be a layman and still be a bonafide servant of the most high God. It is not necessary you wait till you are ordained as a pastor or an evangelist, or as of any title before you can serve God or before your services to Him can be acceptable. A confirmed original servant of God simply means anyone engaged in serving God. Do you know Job wasn't a pastor neither a prophet? Yet, God was proud and bold of him. God said to the devil have you noticed Job my servant Job 1:8 , David was just a king but he served God and became God's favorite. ( See Ps. 89:20-38 ). With God, ordination doesn't come before service but vice-versa. Just serve God as you are, everywhere you can and become God's favorite. Say this to yourself: Thank You Father because as I'm serving You, I'm confirmed Your favorite from today and I'm favored in all my ways in Jesus' name. Amen!

If God can do this for us not sparing His own Son, According to Romans 8:32 , whatsoever good you desire from the Lord, today I decree freely and with ease it is done. I pray none of the blessings that comes with our redemption from Revelation 5:12 will elude you. Say this to yourself: Thank You Jesus for what You did for me on the cross, and because You are alive, I know I am alive for ever more in Jesus' name. Amen!
