LIGHT WORD

LightWord: “Ask me, and I will make the nations your inheritance, the ends of the earth your possession.” Psalms 2:8 NIV Prayer is one of the most important rights God has given to all His Children . That we can ask anything and everything from Him. Scripture above explains the mind of God to us, to ask Him even till the ends of the earth. And He says very simply, "Everyone that asks recieves." Matthew 7:8. But as simple as that is, we must also understand this one truth that: we must ask aright. Say this to yourself: Lord Jesus, help me to always pray aright from this time, henceforth by the help of the Holy Spirit in Jesus' name. Amen!

LightWord: “And he spake a parable unto them to this end, that men ought always to pray, and not to faint.” Luke 18:1 You know, so much has been said concerning prayer, you've heard so much about prayer, the only thing is that you're not praying. And you have to pray, pray and pray without ceasing. Brethren, don't just talk about prayer, don't just be excited about prayer, PRAY! Jesus says, you have to pray and not faith, Apostle Paul says the same for you to pray always. Pray, please pray, in fact, start praying now. Say this to yourself: Father, thank You for the prayers I've been praying, the ones I am praying now and the ones I will continue to pray in Jesus' name. Amen!

LightWord: “I prayed to the Lord, and he answered me. He freed me from all my fears.” Psalms 34:4 NLT I learnt this very early in my life and it has helped me a lot, and still helping till now, that, any failure in life is a failure in prayer. It's not all about the people against you, lack of connections, lack of finances. It's not of what you think of or focused on in most cases, the origin of failure in many people's lives is failure in prayer or in consistent prayers . He that fails to pray consistently, is ready to fail consistently. That's how powerful prayer is. Say this to yourself: Father, I ask for the sufficient grace to pray and to tarry in prayer, never to get weary in Jesus' name. Amen!

LightWord: “Now my beloved ones, I have saved these most important truths for last: Be supernaturally infused with strength through your life-union with the Lord Jesus. Stand victorious with the force of his explosive power flowing in and through you.” Ephesians 6:10 TPT The truth is, for you not to fall in the days of trouble, you need power, not just power but real power. Apostle Paul says, above all I've been saying, dear Christians, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. Simply put, be a powerful Christian. How does power comes? Power flows into your life through prayer (life union with Jesus) also. It's been said, a prayerless Christian is a powerless and also in the reverse. When you prayerful, you will be powerful. Say this to yourself: Father, I pray that You keep empowering by the power of the Holy Ghost as I keep praying in Jesus' name. Amen!

LightWord: “If you faint in the day of adversity, your strength is small.” Proverbs 24:10 AMPC Prayer is a weapon of defense in the times of trouble. In case you are not aware yet, the world, in all the nations of the earth is full of troubles, but until one have a defense in Christ Jesus, trouble kill such, victory is not certain. John 16:33 Scripture above says, if you faint in the days of trouble, it means, something vital is missing, weak strength or no strength at all. In other words, for you not to fall during the season of trouble, then you need power . Say this to yourself: Father, I thank You because You are my strength. I pray by the help of the Holy Spirit in prayer I and my household will not fall in days of trouble in Jesus' name. Amen!

LightWord: “As he prayed, his face began to glow until a blinding glory streamed from him. A radiant glory illuminated his entire body.” Luke 9:29 TPT Prayer does not only changes things, prayer changes people also . Looking at the Scripture above, we saw the effectiveness of prayer in the life of Jesus, the Bible says the appearance of His face changed as He prayed. So many people all over the world today has been changed from bad to good, from Saul, of Tarsus to Paul, the Apostle through the power of prayer. I pray as you keep engaging in prayer, your life will change for good the more. Say this to yourself: Father, thank You because through my prayers, You will change my life for good and Your glory will overshadow me always in Jesus' name. Amen!

LightWord: “And Jabez called on the God of Israel, And God granted him that which he requested.” 1 Chronicles 4:10 In prayer, we are not actually telling God about our many problems and need, He knows them already, we are seeking His intervention on a given situation on the basis of His Word. There is one thing about this, if there can be a man to pray, there is a God to answer . And don’t forget everything needs prayer, the good things requires prayer likewise those yet to be. Say this to yourself: Father, as I seek Your intervention in prayer on my situations, I have this confidence that You will not let me down in Jesus' name. Amen!

Someone that was once known as a sorrowful child now became the envy of his home. In other words, every great occasions has to be held in his house. It's a must they wait for him and hear him out in all their family meeting. What's his secret? Prayer! He called on the God of Israel in prayer and God turn his life around . That's what prayer can do. LightWord: “And Jabez was more honourable than his brethren: and his mother called his name Jabez, saying, Because I bare him with sorrow.” 1 Chronicles 4:9 Prayer is power, prayer is relevance, prayer moves mountains, prayer changes things . We could see the story of Jabez, while Scripture was giving the historical generation of some people. On getting to this man, they paused and explained what the power of prayer did for him. Prayer changes his situations, prayer change things for him. Say this to yourself: Father thank You for the miracle power of prayer. I pray and believe by the power of prayer my life will turnaround for good in Jesus' name. Amen!

And he prayed again, and the heaven gave rain” James 5:17-18 Prayer has been said to be one of the way to move the hand that moves the world in your favor. You can easily move the hand that moves the universe to your own favor through prayer . The Bible actually gave us the record of a man like us, that prayed earnestly that there should be no rain for almost four years and it was so, just for his own satisfaction, until he prayed again for rain to fall. Say this to yourself: Father thank You because through my prayer to You, You will shake my state, my nation, the world for my own good in Jesus' name. Amen!

LightWord: “And the Lord went his way, as soon as he had left communing with Abraham: and Abraham returned unto his place.” Genesis 18:33 To know the power of prayer, first let's know what is prayer? Prayer is one of the effective way we can communicate with God . We call it communication because prayer is not a monologue as many people think it to be. Prayer is a dialogue. Prayer means communing with God. In prayer you talk to God and He talks to you back. He listens to you and you listen to Him for direction, clarification and solution. So that we may be clear of the blood of all men, shining as lights in the world. Lights also have a very cheering influence, and so have Light Messengers . A Light Messenger ought to be a comforter, with kind words on his lips and sympathy in his heart; he should carry sunshine wherever he goes and diffuse happiness around him. Say this to yourself: Father turn me to a light messenger that becomes a terror to the kingdom of darkness bringing glory to Your Holy Name in Jesus' name. Amen!

LightWord: “In the midst of a crooked and twisted generation, among whom you shine as lights in the world.” Philippians 2:15 As lights, we are to point sinners to the Savior and the weary to a divine resting-place. Sometimes men read their Bibles and fail to understand them; we should be ready, like Philip, to instruct the inquirer in the meaning of God’s Word . Show them the way of salvation, and the life of godliness. Lights are also used for warning. On our rocks and sandbanks a lighthouse is sure to be erected. Christians should know that there are many false lights everywhere in the world, and therefore the right light is needed. Say this to yourself: Spirit of the living God, come dwell with me and seasoned my words and life with grace to help and heal some in this darkened world in Jesus' name. Amen!

LightWord: “In the midst of a crooked and twisted generation, among whom you shine as lights in the world.” Philippians 2:15 We use lights for display. A Christian should so shine in his life that a person could not live with him a week without knowing the Gospel. His conversation should be such that all who spend time with him would understand clearly to whom he belongs. And who it is he serves and would see the image of Jesus displayed in his daily actions. Lights are intended for guidance. We are to help those around us who are in the dark . We are to declare to them the Word of life. Say this to yourself: Father thank You for making me the light of the world. Help me that my light will so shine before men for Your glory in Jesus' name. Amen!

LightWord: “And Jesus answering said, Were there not ten cleansed? but where are the nine? There are not found that returned to give glory to God, save this stranger. And he said unto him, Arise, go thy way: thy faith hath made thee whole.” Luke 17:17-19 Praising God and thanking Him for the healing you received from Him is a testimony of His wonder. That's why testimonies are very important because they preserve, protect and perfect the healing. It even procreate its kind. The woman with the issue of blood made the first kind of faith touching Jesus. She shared her testimony and the next time, a whole lot of people also came to touched Jesus and were healed (Mark 5:28-29, Luke 6:19) . It is my believe that  you are healed and completely made whole right now. Why? Because of His Word (Psl.107:20) .
