THE POWER OF PRAYER! Part 6

LightWord:

“And Jabez called on the God of Israel, And God granted him that which he requested.” 1 Chronicles 4:10


In prayer, we are not actually telling God about our many problems and need, He knows them already, we are seeking His intervention on a given situation on the basis of His Word.


There is one thing about this, if there can be a man to pray, there is a God to answer. And don’t forget everything needs prayer, the good things requires prayer likewise those yet to be.


Say this to yourself: Father, as I seek Your intervention in prayer on my situations, I have this confidence that You will not let me down in Jesus' name. Amen!

It's Great To Serve God! Part 9

LightWord: “I have found David my servant; with my holy oil have I anointed him.” Psalm 89:20 You can be a layman and still be a bonafide servant of the most high God. It is not necessary you wait till you are ordained as a pastor or an evangelist, or as of any title before you can serve God or before your services to Him can be acceptable. A confirmed original servant of God simply means anyone engaged in serving God. Do you know Job wasn't a pastor neither a prophet? Yet, God was proud and bold of him. God said to the devil have you noticed Job my servant Job 1:8 , David was just a king but he served God and became God's favorite. ( See Ps. 89:20-38 ). With God, ordination doesn't come before service but vice-versa. Just serve God as you are, everywhere you can and become God's favorite. Say this to yourself: Thank You Father because as I'm serving You, I'm confirmed Your favorite from today and I'm favored in all my ways in Jesus' name. Amen!
