IS GOD FIRST? Part 5

Image
LightWord: “But first and most importantly seek (aim at, strive after) His kingdom and His righteousness [His way of doing and being right--the attitude and character of God], and all these things will be given to you also.” Matthew 6:33 AMP Before Jesus called His disciples, many of them were obsessed with survival, money, and status. Peter was focusing on fishing, Matthew was focusing on collecting taxes, but when they encountered Jesus, their priorities shifted completely. This was what Jesus said to the disciples and made the difference, Luke 9:23, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me . Note that word "daily." Remember, what He said to one, He said to all. Jesus is also speaking to us today in the same manner. Say this to yourself: Father, let the Holy Spirit redirect my focus on You completely, denying myself, taking up my cross daily, and following You in Jesus' name. Amen!

IS GOD FIRST? Part 4

Image
LightWord: “But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.” Matthew 6:33 Come to think about it, what would happen if for the next 30 days, you made one decision every single day: God comes first, not religion, not perfection, just daily surrender. At the end of this series, you will realize that when God is first in your life, it will change your entire life for good. When God is first in your life, it changes your priorities. One of the first things that happens by putting God First is this: your priorities begin to change. Suddenly, things that once felt extremely important start losing their grip on you. Like the need to impress people, the constant comparison, the endless chasing after temporary things. Say this to yourself: Father, as I begin to put You first practically in my life, make You more important to me and let me begin to see life differently in Jesus' name. Amen!

IS GOD FIRST? Part 3

LightWord: “But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.” Matthew 6:33 Have you ever wondered what would happen if you truly put God first in every part of your life for a complete 30 days? Not only on Sundays, not halfway but completely. Most people want peace, direction, joy, and breakthrough, but they keep putting God second, third, or even last. We wake up and check our phones before we pray. We trust our feelings more than God's Word. We chase success, money, relationships, and validation, hoping those things will finally satisfy us. But Jesus said something very powerful in our focal Scripture, that verse changes everything. Say this to yourself: Father, help me to truly put You first and not second nor third nor last again for the rest of my life in Jesus' name. Amen!

IS GOD FIRST? Part 2

Image
LightWord: “But first and most importantly seek (aim at, strive after) His kingdom and His righteousness [His way of doing and being right--the attitude and character of God], and all these things will be given to you also.” Matthew 6:33 AMP According to our focal Scripture of today, do you realize that putting God first is for your own benefit? If yes, fine; if not, please re-read and read-think. You really need to put GOD FIRST! Last time, I asked this thoughtful question that needs a faithful response. Is God first in my life? So many times, we become familiar with something that we don't even know the value. The word, God First has been ringing in our ears for years. Some, it's even from birth, but still not putting God first. In this series, you will realize that when we put God first, it will not only change your schedule but your entire life. Say this to yourself: Father, thank You for forgiving me all my wrong doings of selfish ideas, I ask by the help of the Holy Spi...

IS GOD FIRST?

Image
LightWord: “But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.” Matthew 6:33 Today, I want to ask you a question, and I want you to give yourself a sincere response. Many times, you've come across the word God First; in fact, you yourself know the Scripture too much without looking at the Bible, but with a sincere heart, is God First in your life? Do you really always put Him first in all your ways? Is the word just part of the Scripture or part of your life? Are you just reading it or living it? Have you paused to think about it to apply it, or anytime you come across it, you just read it on? This is not for condemnation but for correction. Say this to yourself: Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, thank You for Your love and care for me. But I know I'm guilty of being disobedient to Your Word that will greatly benefit me, have mercy, oh God on me in Jesus' name. Amen!

THE POWER OF I AM! Part 10

Image
LightWord: “For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.” Mark 11:23 Do not forget; words are powerful tools for creating your world. The life you want to live tomorrow depends on the words you are speaking today. Your words are like seeds sowing; you will harvest it. Even Jesus says you will have whatever you say. In other words, your words are prophesying your future. No matter what God says about you, no matter what people say about you, what does matter is what you say about yourself. Say this to yourself: Father, I pray that You help me by Your Spirit to always use my words for my elevation and not my destruction in Jesus' name. Amen!

THE POWER OF I AM! Part 9

Image
LightWord: “For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.” Mark 11:23 Jesus says in our focal Scripture of today that whosoever says will have whatsoever he says. So, you have not because you say not. When you open up your mouth and declare words into your life by saying I AM, then it becomes so. Especially when you back it up with faith, believing in the power of God's Word , then there is nothing stopping it from coming to pass. From today, be fully engaged in the power of I AM. Every time every day, keep saying it and don't stop saying it. I AM THE LiGHT OF THE WORLD! Say this to yourself: Father, regardless of any situation I may find myself in life I believe Your Word concerning me, therefore, I will keep on saying I AM WHO YOU SAY I AM IN JESUS' NAME. AMEN!

THE POWER OF I AM! Part 8

Image
LightWord: “For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says.” Mark 11:23 NKJV According to the Scripture, faith deals with the heart, but the reality of faith has to deal with your words. That shows how powerful your words can be, especially whatever follows the word I AM. When you say I am this or that, then faith goes to work and delivers it to you. And please take note of this, if your faith says yes by the word of your mouth, God cannot say no. In whatever situation you may be, always learn to say I am victorious. I am blessed. Say this to yourself: Father, thank You because when my faith says yes You God will confirm it. Therefore, I declare I am a Winner, I am Great, I am a barrier breaker, I am Triumphant in Jesus' name. Amen!

THE POWER OF I AM! Part 7

Image
LightWord: “For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says.” Mark 11:23 NKJV One of the things that makes faith work is through what comes out of your mouth. In other words, faith becomes active by what you say. Which means faith can become impotent without finding expression through your words. So if you believe you're a success and not a failure, then for that to really be, you have to say it out and sometimes say it out aloud : I am a success. I am the greatest. I am a believer. I am a barrier breaker, I am a Light person. Watch, whoever says, will have whatever he says. Say this to yourself: Thank You, Father, for who You made me to be. Therefore, I declare I am who You say I am forever. Thank You, Jesus, I am Blessed!!

THE POWER OF I AM! Part 6

Image
LightWord: “Your words can be as satisfying as fruit, as pleasing as the food that fills your stomach. The tongue can speak words that bring life or death. Those who love to talk must be ready to accept what it brings.” Proverbs 18:20‭-‬21 ERV Do yourself the biggest favor from today. Never say what you do not want to see or experience. Instead, speak good to your life, speak favor to your destiny, and speak peace to your path because that is exactly what you will see and experience. Many people have been in deep trouble today and are still deeping themselves in more trouble by the day via the words of their mouth and that without knowing. Scripture says the power of life and death are in your mouth. Say this to yourself: Thank You, Father, for the revelation of the power in my mouth. By that same power today, I revert every curse I've placed on my destiny without knowing, now I declare life and peace in Jesus' name. Amen!

THE POWER OF I AM! Part 5

Image
LightWord: “...Let the weak say, I am strong [a warrior]!” Joel 3:10 AMPC This one powerful truth changed my life early, “what you say consistently, you will become eventually even if it does not make sense.” I believe it's not magical. No! But as you speak those words, it comes out right back into your own spirit, into your own being and affects your self image and eventually you become it. Jesus says “you shall have whatsoever you say”. Say this to yourself: Thank You Father because You want me to know that the words I speak carry fire and can liberate me. Therefore, I am liberated in Jesus' name. Amen!

THE POWER OF I AM! Part 4

Image
LightWord: “...Let the weak say, I am strong [a warrior]!” Joel 3:10 AMPC Do you know whatever follows the word "I AM" is what is going to be looking for you ? Speak word of victory, word of joy, speak light to your life. I am well able, I am talented, I am great, I am empowered by the Holy Spirit. I am lifted, I am handsome/beautiful, I am promoted, I am equipped, I am favored, I am strengthen to do all things, I am successful, I am triumphant, I am a light giver, I am the LIGHT of the world. Guess what? That's what will be looking for you. Say this to yourself: Father, thank You for the power and prophecy in my mouth, my prophecy has caught up with my reality. As I say it I see it in Jesus' name. Amen!

THE POWER OF I AM! Part 3

Image
LightWord: “...Let the weak say, I am strong [a warrior]!” Joel 3:10 AMPC Remember the story of Joshua and Caleb, the two among others said with their mouths "we are well able" and indeed they were able, but others, the Bible said their mouth slew them. You have to speak word of faith and not of fear. Let the word of victory fills your mouth and not of defeat. In the Scriptures it was noted that "let the weak says I am strong" . You know what, you have to speak what you want to be and even what you want to see. Because as you say it, so it will be. Action Point: Take a look at God's Word and declare boldly what God says concerning you. For instance, I Michael Aremu, it shall be well with me and my family in Jesus' name. Amen!

THE POWER OF I AM! Part 2

Image
LightWord: “...Let the weak say, I am strong [a warrior]!” Joel 3:10 AMPC Watch! No one speaks of negativity and expects positive things to happen. As long as you are speaking defeat, you are going to experience defeat. The words you speak can determine and dictate your future because they are telling what's in your heart. Scripture says, a man's belly shall be satisfied with the fruit of his mouth; and with the increase of his lips shall he be filled. Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof. ( Proverbs 18:20-21 ) Say this to yourself: Father, thank You for Your Light. Please have mercy on me. Every area I've invited trouble for my life or ruined my destiny by the words of my mouth, let Your mercy restore me today in Jesus' name. Amen!

THE POWER OF I AM!

Image
LightWord: “...Let the weak say, I am strong [a warrior]!” Joel 3:10 AMPC A great man of God once said and I quote "if you want to know where you are going to be five years from now, just listen to what you are saying about yourself." That is to tell you there is power in the words that you speak. No matter the circumstances, no matter how difficult it seems to be now, if you speak negativity to your life, it's a seed and with time you begin to reap what you've sown into your life. Because your words are prophesying your future. Say this to yourself: Father of heaven I thank You for making my word so powerful to deliver me from the fear of tomorrow. Therefore, I speak life into my life and future in Jesus' name. Amen!

JOY OVERFLOW! Part 20

Image
LightWord: “Yet I will rejoice in the Lord, I will joy in the God of my salvation.” Habakkuk 3:18 The previous verse of the Scripture above says though nothing seems to be working around me, the next verse says, yet that will not take away my joy from me. It is with joy I can draw water out of the wells of salvation. And if that be, guess what happens? The last verse says, then, the Lord God will become my strength, and he will make my feet like hinds' feet, and he will make me to walk upon mine high places. That's the outcome when your joy overflows, you become on top of the world, you become an overcomer. Say this to yourself: Father, thank You for filling my heart with the fullness of Your joy. Hence, my experience is joy overflowing in Jesus' name. Amen!

JOY OVERFLOW! Part 19

Image
LightWord: “Yet I will rejoice in the Lord, I will joy in the God of my salvation.” Habakkuk 3:18 If anyone is truly in the presence of God, and knows the God he's serving and what He can do, then the Scripture above becomes his songs, his attitude, his life. Come what may, just like the previous verse says, Although the fig tree shall not blossom, neither shall fruit be in the vines; the labour of the olive shall fail, and the fields shall yield no meat; the flock shall be cut off from the fold, and there shall be no herd in the stalls: yet I've got joy overflowing. Say this to yourself: Thank You Father because regardless of what I might be going through, yet I won't lose my joy. I will rejoice always in the Lord in Jesus' name. Amen!

JOY OVERFLOW! Part 18

Image
LightWord: “My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations.” James 1:2 Pastor James helps us understand that those that their joy overflows always choose to be joyful in every given situation just because they know their God and what He can do even with whatsoever they might be passing through. Daniel for instance, was locked up in the den of lion, yet remains joyful because He knew the God He's serving. The outcome was glorious, he was promoted, his enemies were demoted, the Lord was glorified. Say this to yourself: Thank You Father because I know who You are and what You can do, hence, I've got joy overflow, always chooses to be joyful in Jesus' name. Amen!

JOY OVERFLOW! Part 17

Image
LightWord: “...but the people who [are spiritually mature and] know their God will display strength and take action [to resist].” Daniel 11:32 AMP When you are spiritually mature, your joy overflows every time every day; you take advantage of anything that may come your way. Scripture says, the people that are spiritually mature, that know their God, that is, knowing who He is and what He can do, those will display strength through the joy of the Lord that is overflowing in them. Such people don't tell God how big their problem is, they rather tell their problem how big their God is. Say this to yourself: Father of heaven, help me to get to the realm of joy overflow that I will always take advantage of what comes my way for Your glory. Thank You Father in Jesus' name. Amen!

WELCOME TO MAY, YOUR MONTH OF SUPERNATURAL SHIFTS!

Image
WELCOME TO THIS GLORIOUS MONTH OF MAY, OUR MONTH OF SUPERNATURAL SHIFTS! “AND WHEN HE WAS COME INTO HIS OWN COUNTRY, HE TAUGHT THEM IN THEIR SYNAGOGUE, INSOMUCH THAT THEY WERE ASTONISHED, AND SAID, WHENCE HATH THIS MAN THIS WISDOM, AND THESE MIGHTY WORKS? [55] IS NOT THIS THE CARPENTER'S SON?” MATTHEW 13:54-55 I DECREE AND DECLARE BY THE SUPERNATURAL POWER OF GOD UPON MY LIFE, THIS MONTH IN PARTICULAR, GOD ALMIGHTY IS CAUSING A MAJOR SHIFT IN YOUR LIFE AND THAT ALL YOURS. IN AN INEXPLICABLE AND UNBELIEVABLE WAY, SOMETHING IS SHIFTING IN YOUR LIFE , CAREER, AND FAMILY FROM DEADNESS TO LIVELINESS, FROM ORDINARY TO EXTRAORDINARY, FROM LOW LEVEL TO HIGHER LEVEL, FROM POVERTY TO PROSPERITY, AND FROM NATURAL TO SUPERNATURAL; RECEIVE IT WITH GLADNESS IN THE NAME OF JESUS.
