THE ONLY SUFFICIENT THING - Part 10

LightWord:

“We are bound to thank God always for you, brethren, as it is fitting, because your faith grows exceedingly.” 2 Thessalonians 1:3a NKJV


It's true that everyone will face series of challenges. Remember, Jesus himself faced his own, thereby He said in John 16:33 that as long as you are in the world - excluding no nations of the earth - you are bound to have tribulation. But 1John 5:4 gives the key to victory which is our faith. Which means without faith, there is no victory.


Faith can never be once and for all. You keep growing your faith even exceedingly because as you overcome some challenges, another ones are set already. New level, new devil. So we must constantly live by faith. In fact, Paul says in 2 Corinthians 13:5 that we should examine ourselves if we are still in the faith: that is, checking day by day if our faith is still intact.


Say this to yourself: Father, thank You for Your Word that generates faith. I pray that my faith will not fail me all the days of my life, instead I will keep growing stronger and stronger in faith in Jesus' name. Amen!

CHANGE IS POSSIBLE!

LightWord: “But Jesus beheld them, and said unto them, With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible.” Matthew 19:26 As it is popularly said “change is constant” which simply means there is nothing that cannot change. But until a man is changed, he cannot be changed and only a changed man can change the world . Everybody wants a change but to change is the difficulty. Now, except if a man has a strong desire to change, he won't change. It is said in physics that everything remains in a stagnant position until a force is being applied. There are required principles to follow in order to enforce the desired change. Yet change is possible! Say this to yourself: Thank You Father because with You my change is possible in Jesus' name. Amen!

LightWord: “If a man die, shall he live again? all the days of my appointed time will I wait, till my change come.” Job 14:14 By redemption we have been ordained by God to be the light of the world, illuminating everywhere and changing the world for better Matt.5:14-16. But just as it is written in Part 1 of this series that only a changed person can change the world. You cannot be the light when you yourself is stumbling in darkness . Just as the case of Esau, where his mother hated him, his brother cheated on him by trick, his father cursed him (Gen.27) , just as if the whole world has turned upside down for him, yet he desired a change and he experienced a great turnaround. Likewise the man called Job; everybody saw an end for him in his tribulations but he kept on seeing a change with strong desire ( Job 14:14 ) and at last he was blessed beyond measure. See Job 42:12-17 . Say this to yourself: Lord, no matter what people think or say about me, no matter what they see around me
