THIS YEAR! Part 14

LightWord:

“And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing.” Genesis 12:2


This was God speaking to our father of faith Abraham on a journey of a new chapter of his life, the primary purpose for which he will be blessed, that he might be a blessing. This is a new year, a new chapter which can productively produce a new you if you will abide by the rule.


This year, look for every avenue to be a blessing to God's kingdom (Matt.6:33), your pastor (Matt.10:40-42), your family (Eph.6:1-4), people around you (Gal.6:9-10), less privileges (Matt.25:37-40), this is also one of the secret of Job's blessing (Job29:1-4, 11-16). Remember, it's more blessed to give than to receive. Acts 20:35.


Say this to yourself: By the enabling grace of Christ I am a blessing to my world. I am a source of blessing, joy, and happiness to many people this year and so I'm full with the blessing of the Lord in Jesus' name. Amen!

CHANGE IS POSSIBLE!

LightWord: “But Jesus beheld them, and said unto them, With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible.” Matthew 19:26 As it is popularly said “change is constant” which simply means there is nothing that cannot change. But until a man is changed, he cannot be changed and only a changed man can change the world . Everybody wants a change but to change is the difficulty. Now, except if a man has a strong desire to change, he won't change. It is said in physics that everything remains in a stagnant position until a force is being applied. There are required principles to follow in order to enforce the desired change. Yet change is possible! Say this to yourself: Thank You Father because with You my change is possible in Jesus' name. Amen!

CHANGE IS POSSIBLE! Part 4

LightWord: “If a man die, shall he live again? all the days of my appointed time will I wait, till my change come.” Job 14:14 By redemption we have been ordained by God to be the light of the world, illuminating everywhere and changing the world for better Matt.5:14-16. But just as it is written in Part 1 of this series that only a changed person can change the world. You cannot be the light when you yourself is stumbling in darkness . Just as the case of Esau, where his mother hated him, his brother cheated on him by trick, his father cursed him (Gen.27) , just as if the whole world has turned upside down for him, yet he desired a change and he experienced a great turnaround. Likewise the man called Job; everybody saw an end for him in his tribulations but he kept on seeing a change with strong desire ( Job 14:14 ) and at last he was blessed beyond measure. See Job 42:12-17 . Say this to yourself: Lord, no matter what people think or say about me, no matter what they see around me
