THIS YEAR! Part 22

LightWord:

“And David went out whithersoever Saul sent him, and behaved himself wisely: and Saul set him over the men of war, and he was accepted in the sight of all the people, and also in the sight of Saul's servants.” 1 Samuel 18:5


It was reported in our focal Scripture of today that David behaved himself wisely, therefore, he was accepted by the king, the people and even before everyone. Not only does he behaved himself wisely;


but also it was recorded in that same Scripture the progression of his behaviour. He behaved himself wisely, very wisely and even more wisely than all his colleagues (1Sam.18:14&15&30). That is, he kept on working on his behaviour and he emerge a successful being, fulfilled!


Action Point: Sincerely write down all your bad habits that you want to let go even from now, and humbly cry to the Holy Spirit to help you purge them out by His power in Jesus' name. Amen!

CHANGE IS POSSIBLE!

LightWord: “But Jesus beheld them, and said unto them, With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible.” Matthew 19:26 As it is popularly said “change is constant” which simply means there is nothing that cannot change. But until a man is changed, he cannot be changed and only a changed man can change the world . Everybody wants a change but to change is the difficulty. Now, except if a man has a strong desire to change, he won't change. It is said in physics that everything remains in a stagnant position until a force is being applied. There are required principles to follow in order to enforce the desired change. Yet change is possible! Say this to yourself: Thank You Father because with You my change is possible in Jesus' name. Amen!

CHANGE IS POSSIBLE! Part 4

LightWord: “If a man die, shall he live again? all the days of my appointed time will I wait, till my change come.” Job 14:14 By redemption we have been ordained by God to be the light of the world, illuminating everywhere and changing the world for better Matt.5:14-16. But just as it is written in Part 1 of this series that only a changed person can change the world. You cannot be the light when you yourself is stumbling in darkness . Just as the case of Esau, where his mother hated him, his brother cheated on him by trick, his father cursed him (Gen.27) , just as if the whole world has turned upside down for him, yet he desired a change and he experienced a great turnaround. Likewise the man called Job; everybody saw an end for him in his tribulations but he kept on seeing a change with strong desire ( Job 14:14 ) and at last he was blessed beyond measure. See Job 42:12-17 . Say this to yourself: Lord, no matter what people think or say about me, no matter what they see around me
