THIS YEAR! Part 23

LightWord:

“Then Samuel took the horn of oil, and anointed him in the midst of his brethren: and the Spirit of the Lord came upon David from that day forward...” 1 Samuel 16:13


You could imagine how David though uneducated yet had a great behaviour that he was accepted by everyone including kings. The question is how does thag happened? The answer is simple, he has the Spirit of God upon his life and that really helped him so.


It is not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, says the Lord of hosts. The spirit of God upon David produces good characters in Him. He behave wisely, more wisely, very wisely. Gift is not enough, you likewise need to cultivate good habit this year to really emerge a success.


Say this to yourself: Spirit of the living God I invite You into my life this year, renew my mind and cause a great transformation in my life in Jesus' name. Amen!

CHANGE IS POSSIBLE!

LightWord: “But Jesus beheld them, and said unto them, With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible.” Matthew 19:26 As it is popularly said “change is constant” which simply means there is nothing that cannot change. But until a man is changed, he cannot be changed and only a changed man can change the world . Everybody wants a change but to change is the difficulty. Now, except if a man has a strong desire to change, he won't change. It is said in physics that everything remains in a stagnant position until a force is being applied. There are required principles to follow in order to enforce the desired change. Yet change is possible! Say this to yourself: Thank You Father because with You my change is possible in Jesus' name. Amen!

CHANGE IS POSSIBLE! Part 4

LightWord: “If a man die, shall he live again? all the days of my appointed time will I wait, till my change come.” Job 14:14 By redemption we have been ordained by God to be the light of the world, illuminating everywhere and changing the world for better Matt.5:14-16. But just as it is written in Part 1 of this series that only a changed person can change the world. You cannot be the light when you yourself is stumbling in darkness . Just as the case of Esau, where his mother hated him, his brother cheated on him by trick, his father cursed him (Gen.27) , just as if the whole world has turned upside down for him, yet he desired a change and he experienced a great turnaround. Likewise the man called Job; everybody saw an end for him in his tribulations but he kept on seeing a change with strong desire ( Job 14:14 ) and at last he was blessed beyond measure. See Job 42:12-17 . Say this to yourself: Lord, no matter what people think or say about me, no matter what they see around me
