THE POWER OF PRAYER! Part 30

LightWord:

“And in that day ye shall ask me nothing. Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall ask the Father in my name, he will give it you.” John 16:23

Whatever we desire can be ours if we ask in the name of Jesus. And He has given us the assurance that whatever we ask in His name we can have. It is a power of attorney — a power to act in another person's name.

When we pray this way, it is as if Jesus Himself is doing the praying. Additionally, Jesus is the mediator between man and God (1 Timothy 2:5). He is the sole authorized attorney for all believers. No other attorney is permitted in the court of heaven.

Say this to yourself: Father in the name of Jesus, I ask for (make mention of it) and I receive it by faith in Jesus' name. Amen!
