New Year, New You! Part 4

LightWord:

“Neither do men put new wine into old bottles: else the bottles break, and the wine runneth out, and the bottles perish: but they put new wine into new bottles, and both are preserved.” Matthew 9:17


With the parable of our Lord Jesus in the above Scripture, it means to see anything new in this new year, it all begins from your mind. Your mind represent the bottle that Jesus is referring to.


You must have a new mind, a new perspective, a new way of viewing things before anything new can really occur to you: else it will be as the same as the past years, or even get more frustrated than the previous years. You must have a new mind!


Say this to yourself: Father of heaven, the Renewer of souls and mind, today I pray You oh God to renew my mind, give me a new mind, a sound mind to live a sound life in this year and beyond in Jesus' name. Amen!

LightWord: “Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.” Matthew 5:16 Walking as children of light, in other words, you must use the authority you have as light to dominate over darkness. CHANGE IS POSSIBLE!

LightWord: “But Jesus beheld them, and said unto them, With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible.” Matthew 19:26 As it is popularly said “change is constant” which simply means there is nothing that cannot change. But until a man is changed, he cannot be changed and only a changed man can change the world . Everybody wants a change but to change is the difficulty. Now, except if a man has a strong desire to change, he won't change. It is said in physics that everything remains in a stagnant position until a force is being applied. There are required principles to follow in order to enforce the desired change. Yet change is possible! Say this to yourself: Thank You Father because with You my change is possible in Jesus' name. Amen!

CHANGE IS POSSIBLE! Part 4

LightWord: “If a man die, shall he live again? all the days of my appointed time will I wait, till my change come.” Job 14:14 By redemption we have been ordained by God to be the light of the world, illuminating everywhere and changing the world for better Matt.5:14-16. But just as it is written in Part 1 of this series that only a changed person can change the world. You cannot be the light when you yourself is stumbling in darkness . Just as the case of Esau, where his mother hated him, his brother cheated on him by trick, his father cursed him (Gen.27) , just as if the whole world has turned upside down for him, yet he desired a change and he experienced a great turnaround. Likewise the man called Job; everybody saw an end for him in his tribulations but he kept on seeing a change with strong desire ( Job 14:14 ) and at last he was blessed beyond measure. See Job 42:12-17 . Say this to yourself: Lord, no matter what people think or say about me, no matter what they see around me
