LIGHT WORD

LightWord: “Set me as a seal upon thine heart, as a seal upon thine arm: for love is strong as death.” Song of Solomon 8:6a Understand this simple truth that love is as strong as death. For God so loved the world, He gave His only begotten Son; He didn't came to have fun in the world, but primarily for the world's Salvation which involves death. So, to love is to die in it . Jesus Christ came to the world on the purpose of love for you and I. What an unquantifiable love! Glory!! That gives us the cause to celebrate the Good Friday <today> even though it was a terrible, worse and sorrowful day for Him(Jesus) but love is just as strong as death. Say this to yourself: JESUS, oh how You love me. I realized you died just for me because You loved me. Thank You Jesus for loving me; I want to love You more and more and more everyday of my life in Jesus' name. Amen!

LightWord: “...at the seventh time, that he said, Behold, there ariseth a little cloud out of the sea. And he said, Go up, say unto Ahab, Prepare thy chariot, that the rain stop thee not. And it came to pass in the mean while, that the heaven was black with clouds and wind, and there was a great rain...” 1Kings18:44-45 Never pray again without believing in the God that answers prayer. All you desire this year, you will acquire but you must pray with strong expectation. Prayer without expectation is praying in frustration ;  Because it takes faith for prayer to deliver. For faith is the substance of things expected, the evidence of things not seen. Where there is expectation, manifestation is inevitable. Elijah was expectant and God fulfilled his expectation. He will fulfill yours too. Say this to yourself: Father I believe You can do all things including my heart's desires even now, let not my expectation be cut off in Jesus' name. Amen!

It's a good thing to pray but asking anything from God without a strong desire, makes prayer a mere religious exercise . There are many who just pray for the sympathy of prayer. They have all the energy to cry unto God for help, but when its time for God to show them great and mighty things then they stop His action with their low level of expectation. And at the end they become frustrated. Say this to yourself: Thank You Jesus because from today I will never stop answers to my prayer by my low level of expectations in Jesus' name. Amen!

LightWord: “The light of the body is the eye: if therefore thine eye be single, thy whole body shall be full of light.” Matthew 6:22 Don't let the enemy tell you you've been forgotten or left out. God has not left anybody out. Regardless of what your life may look like now, you have talents , you have abilities, you have natural strengths. You have an inbuilt capacity and you need to be aware of what they are and make sure that you're taking advantage of them and using them for His glory. Stay focused this year and you will celebrate your victory. Say this to yourself: God, help me to understand clearly the reason You created me and gifted me the way You have so I can fulfill my purpose and experience the joy and victory that comes from being in Your will in Jesus' name. Amen!

  LightWord: “The light of the body is the eye: if therefore thine eye be single, thy whole body shall be full of light.” Matthew 6:22 Understanding why God put you here is one of the most important principles when it comes to discovering your unique purpose and calling in life. The reason is that knowing why you are here on earth gives more light. It gives more light to the why God has uniquely gifted you the way He has and what He has called you to accomplish individually. There's nothing more exciting than to discover your purpose, your area of calling, and really focus on it! 1Tim.4:12 . Say this to yourself: Father of our Lord Jesus, thank You for the way You have chosen to purposefully created me the way I am, help me understand the why to maximize life in Jesus' name. Amen!

  LightWord: “‭“People hated you. You were left all alone with no one passing through. But I will make you great from now on. You will be happy forever and ever.” Isaiah 60:15 ERV‬‬ In everything you do in your life, make God first and at the end it shall be proven: the blessings that follows is definitely and amazingly. It's far beyond what you might expect or imagine. Everything that doesn't agree with you at first, shall later bow themselves down at the soles of your feet. Mark 10:28-30, Ish. 60:14-15 . Another good news is, when GOD is first, then, no room for the devil in your life, simply because light and darkness cannot cohabit. Say this to yourself: Father thank You for from today I receive sufficient grace to make You first all my life in Jesus' name. Amen!

LightWord: “If anyone comes to Me, and does not hate his own father and mother and wife and children and brothers and sisters, yes, and even his own life [in the sense of indifference to or relative disregard for them in comparison with his attitude toward God]-- he cannot be My disciple.” LUKE 14:26 AMP When GOD is FIRST in your life, it's certain that things around you, people including your own family, even your intellectual calculation may not first agree with you doing that thing that seem crazy. Don't forget the widow in 1 Kings 17:8-16, but the point is don't also forget the much blessings that follows her. God first every other thing next, including yourself . Say this to yourself: Thank You Father for all Your promises in You are Yes and Amen. I know my spiritual eyes of understanding is enlightened and I'm empowered serving the interest of God's Kingdom first all the days of my life in Jesus' name. Amen!

LightWord: “‭‭Give away your life; you’ll find life given back, but not merely given back—given back with bonus and blessing.” Luke 6:38 MSG‬‬ Giving good offerings, paying your tithe, sacrificing your treasures for the interest of God's Kingdom can save you a lifetime investment. It's an insurance that has an assurance of eternity. It's called blessed assurance. Putting GOD FIRST is not just by words of mouth alone but by action which requires your decision for strong determination in the execution. It might seems crazy but the outcome is also always crazy good. Say this to yourself: Thank You Jesus, from henceforth I put You First in all my deeds including my finances in Jesus' name. Amen!

LightWord: “She said... I have not a cake, but an handful of meal in a barrel, and a little oil in a cruse: ...that we may eat it, and die. And Elijah said unto her, Fear not; but make me thereof a little cake first...” 1 Kings 17:12-13 In our focal Scripture of today we could see the practical aspect of putting God First and the reaction of the widow in which we all do. Many people thought they must first be very okay especially in terms of finances, status, possessions and the like before serving the Lord. But that's not the way God put it; it is in the opposite. You put God first, then you'll be very okay! Certainly! God actually knows everything that is going on with us and our finances, He deliberately sent the Prophet to the widow vs8-9 ; and once she obeyed and put God First indeed, what left for her was the blessings vs14-16 . Say this to yourself: Father, let Your Spirit help me to cut away every distraction that may be so genuine to me but has been hindering me fro

LightWord: “Trust in and rely confidently on the Lord with all your heart And do not rely on your own insight..., And He will make your paths straight and smooth [removing obstacles that block your way].” PROVERBS 3:5‭-‬6 AMP Only a fool would look for himself a downfall. Everyone on earth are striving to succeed, to make it, to live peacefully, but how on this earth can that be without putting God first. God First is the key to every good thing in life James1:17 .  He knows the better way of making your day, plans, future great, so why don't you seek Him first for wisdom and guidance. Not putting HIM FIRST is the display of our foolishness. Sometimes we do something that if God has been involved first, it wouldn't have end up stupidly with a bunch of regret. Say this to yourself: Father thank You for how eager You are to help me from the struggles of life making me an eagle. I repent from all my foolishness and I've decided to always and always put You First in all that

LightWord: “But first and most importantly aim at, strive after His kingdom and His way of doing and being right - the attitude and character of God” Matthew 6:33 AMP Is God really first in my life? So many times we become familiar with something that we don't even know the value of it. The word "God First" has been so familiar with us but yet not taking it first. How many times do we wake up from sleep and spent limitless time with the Holy Trinity before doing our own things? But of a truth, is in the reverse, some don't even consider it necessary. Don’t let the idea of early morning prayer intimidate yo u. Prayer simply means talking to God, and then listening to Him for the day. Even Jesus do so ( Mark 1:35 ) and expects us to pray in that manner, too ( Luke 18:1 ). Say this to yourself: Father, thank You for forgiven me all my wrong doings of selfish idea, I ask by the help of the Holy Spirit to always put You first even in my prayer life daily in Jesus' na

LightWord: “But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.” Matthew 6:33 Today, I want to ask you a question and I want you to give yourself a sincere response. Many times you've come across the word God First; in fact, you yourself know the Scripture too much without looking no Bible. But with a sincere heart, Is God First in your life? Do you really always put Him first in all your ways? Is the word just part of the Scripture or part of your life? Are you just reading it or living it? Have you paused to think about it to apply it or anytime you come across it, you just read it on? Say this to yourself: Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, thank You for Your love and care for me. But I know I'm guilty of being disobedience to Your Word that will greatly benefit me, have mercy oh God on me in Jesus' name. Amen!

LightWord: “Be very careful, then, how you live — not as unwise but as wise, making the most of every opportunity.” (Ephesians 5:15–16, NIV) To experience God’s best, stay focused on Him and on the things that are truly important. There will always be a thousand interesting and even enticing things to fill up your time, but there’s a good chance that most of those things will not help you live the best life that God has planned for you. There are many other activities you could get involved in that may be good in themselves; But if you try to do everything, you’ll wind up being average at a lot of things and not excellent at anything! According to Scripture, "all things must be done decently and in order." Dear friend, there is time for everything. ( Eccles. 3:1 MSG ) Those who are living their best life now have their priorities in order .  Even Jesus started His mission by learning not by healing. LightWord: “...He gives [blessings] to His beloved in sleep.” Psalm 127:2 AMP The Lord longs to pour out blessings on you constantly — even while you are sleeping! Many people today struggle with sleeping at night. They stay awake or get poor sleep because they are constantly focused on their problems and worrying about tomorrow. But that’s not God’s plan for you! Understand that God has His hand on your life even in the midnight hour. He is taking care of those things that concern you . Make that decision today to cast your cares on Him and trust Him to work out every detail of your life, to enjoy the blessing of the Lord all your life. Say this to yourself: Father, thank You for Your promise of blessing as even when I sleep. I cast my cares on You and trust that You are working behind the scenes in my life in Jesus’ name. Amen!

LightWord: “And from the days of John the Baptist UNTIL NOW the kingdom of heaven suffereth violence, and the violent take it by force.” Matthew 11:12 To see the new you in this new year, it has to be worked out! Never forget, you have to renew and keep renewing your mind, take positive bold actions, pray - praying with your heart, and keep reaching out to lost souls for Jesus. See what the Bible says in Phillipians 4:8‭ AMP “Finally, believers, whatever is true, honorable and worthy of respect, right and confirmed by God’s word, whatever is pure, brings peace, admirable; if there is any excellence, worthy of praise, think continually on these things [center your mind on them, and implant them in your heart].” Say this to yourself: Thank You Father for I will not live in this year doing nothing and having nothing. By Your grace whatever I lay my hands upon will prosper in Jesus' name. Amen!

LightWord: “...‘For three years now I’ve been coming to look for fruit on this fig tree and haven’t found any. Cut it down! Why should it use up the soil?’ “ ‘Sir,’ the man replied, ‘leave it alone for one more year...’” Luke 13:7‭-‬9 NIV I pray for you today, just as you desire in this new year so shall it be by God's grace. I will like to remind you that it God's pleasure that we changes level at least yearly, but it's unfortunate that many of God's people couldn't key into that. They believe it will just happen without doing nothing. No! It doesn't just like that. Jesus himself said He have to work out the assignment given Him by God (John 9:4) and honestly, He worked really hard. And today, every tongues and nations in the whole universe can celebrate His glory. Say this to yourself: Thank You Jesus for this year shall make a huge difference in my entire life in Jesus' name. Amen!

LightWord: ““For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world [wealth, fame, success], but forfeits his soul? Or what will a man give in exchange for his soul?” Matthew 16:26 AMP Souls of men are more valuable to God than any other thing. Just like the above Scripture says, there is nothing to give in exchange of one soul. Don’t forget, the value of your works determine the value of your income . Reaching out to the lost souls, letting your light shine wherever you find yourself, no matter what, then, God himself will make your life so valuable to your world beyond your wildest imagination. Take that step of reaching out and take it now. Say this to yourself: Father I thank You becuase I summon the boldness in reaching out for souls, transform my life drastically and make my life valuable in Jesus' name. Amen!
