Using Your Time Wisely!

LightWord:

“Be very careful, then, how you live — not as unwise but as wise, making the most of every opportunity.” (Ephesians 5:15–16, NIV)


To experience God’s best, stay focused on Him and on the things that are truly important. There will always be a thousand interesting and even enticing things to fill up your time, but there’s a good chance that most of those things will not help you live the best life that God has planned for you. There are many other activities you could get involved in that may be good in themselves;


But if you try to do everything, you’ll wind up being average at a lot of things and not excellent at anything! According to Scripture, "all things must be done decently and in order." Dear friend, there is time for everything. (Eccles. 3:1 MSG) Those who are living their best life now have their priorities in order.  Even Jesus started His mission by learning not by healing.


Say this to yourself: God, I want to live the best life You have planned for me. Today, help me to keep my focus on You and the things that matter the most in Jesus’ Name. Amen!

CHANGE IS POSSIBLE!

LightWord: “But Jesus beheld them, and said unto them, With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible.” Matthew 19:26 As it is popularly said “change is constant” which simply means there is nothing that cannot change. But until a man is changed, he cannot be changed and only a changed man can change the world . Everybody wants a change but to change is the difficulty. Now, except if a man has a strong desire to change, he won't change. It is said in physics that everything remains in a stagnant position until a force is being applied. There are required principles to follow in order to enforce the desired change. Yet change is possible! Say this to yourself: Thank You Father because with You my change is possible in Jesus' name. Amen!

CHANGE IS POSSIBLE! Part 4

LightWord: “If a man die, shall he live again? all the days of my appointed time will I wait, till my change come.” Job 14:14 By redemption we have been ordained by God to be the light of the world, illuminating everywhere and changing the world for better Matt.5:14-16. But just as it is written in Part 1 of this series that only a changed person can change the world. You cannot be the light when you yourself is stumbling in darkness . Just as the case of Esau, where his mother hated him, his brother cheated on him by trick, his father cursed him (Gen.27) , just as if the whole world has turned upside down for him, yet he desired a change and he experienced a great turnaround. Likewise the man called Job; everybody saw an end for him in his tribulations but he kept on seeing a change with strong desire ( Job 14:14 ) and at last he was blessed beyond measure. See Job 42:12-17 . Say this to yourself: Lord, no matter what people think or say about me, no matter what they see around me
