Rejoice Evermore! Part 2

LightWord:

“Rejoice in the Lord alway: and again I say, Rejoice.” Philippians 4:4


What do you do? When you fail your exams. What do you do? When you are abandoned, cheated, rejected. What do you do? When you lose a loved one. What do you do? When somebody died; and usually they died without announcement. What do you do?


What happens when things go wrong? You may ask how such things can happen to Christians? But the other way round is - how can such things not happen to Christians? Most of the time we think so much faith that we tend to forget that we are still in the evil world. (See Psalm 74:20, 1 John 5:19) If Jesus could face His own challenges, no one is exempted but the way out is to be careless and be joyful 1 Pet. 5:7.


Say this to yourself: Thank You God for You are my care-taker. Though my present situations might not be good to me yet I will rejoice in You Lord, I will joy in You the God of my salvation in Jesus' name. Amen!

It's Great To Serve God! Part 9

LightWord: “I have found David my servant; with my holy oil have I anointed him.” Psalm 89:20 You can be a layman and still be a bonafide servant of the most high God. It is not necessary you wait till you are ordained as a pastor or an evangelist, or as of any title before you can serve God or before your services to Him can be acceptable. A confirmed original servant of God simply means anyone engaged in serving God. Do you know Job wasn't a pastor neither a prophet? Yet, God was proud and bold of him. God said to the devil have you noticed Job my servant Job 1:8 , David was just a king but he served God and became God's favorite. ( See Ps. 89:20-38 ). With God, ordination doesn't come before service but vice-versa. Just serve God as you are, everywhere you can and become God's favorite. Say this to yourself: Thank You Father because as I'm serving You, I'm confirmed Your favorite from today and I'm favored in all my ways in Jesus' name. Amen!
