Rejoice Evermore! Part 4

LightWord:

“Finally, my brethren, rejoice in the Lord. To write the same things to you, to me indeed is not grievous, but for you it is safe.” Philippians 3:1


The truth is everybody in this world has challenges. But Jesus Christ has already given us the victory via His word. He says when such trials and temptations comes, then the only way out is to cheer up, to rejoice, be full of hope or else challenges will kill us. Remember, the joy of the Lord is our strength.


You become God's daily delight when you care for nothing but always rejoicing in His presence. (Prov. 8:30, 1 Pet. 5:6-7) In all things be humble 'calm down', how? By rejoicing even in the midst of tribulations. God is your Care-taker, you have nothing to care about. So, REJOICE EVERMORE! (See 1 Thes. 5:16, 1 Pet. 1:8)


Say this to yourself: Father in Heaven, fill me afresh with the Spirit of Joy. Thank You Jesus because I won't get lost in depression and oppression of the devil, in You I constantly regain my strength in Jesus' name. Amen!

It's Great To Serve God! Part 9

LightWord: “I have found David my servant; with my holy oil have I anointed him.” Psalm 89:20 You can be a layman and still be a bonafide servant of the most high God. It is not necessary you wait till you are ordained as a pastor or an evangelist, or as of any title before you can serve God or before your services to Him can be acceptable. A confirmed original servant of God simply means anyone engaged in serving God. Do you know Job wasn't a pastor neither a prophet? Yet, God was proud and bold of him. God said to the devil have you noticed Job my servant Job 1:8 , David was just a king but he served God and became God's favorite. ( See Ps. 89:20-38 ). With God, ordination doesn't come before service but vice-versa. Just serve God as you are, everywhere you can and become God's favorite. Say this to yourself: Thank You Father because as I'm serving You, I'm confirmed Your favorite from today and I'm favored in all my ways in Jesus' name. Amen!
