RELIEF! Part 19

LightWord:

“For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit.” Romans 8:5


To be spiritual is not something that needs extra skills, it's simply turning it all over to God. Minding His Word and not what is happening around your world. It is giving attention to His Word and allowing His Spirit which is the Author of the Word to lead, direct and guide you always.


For instance, regardless of whatever you're going through, no matter how difficult it might seem, giving yourself to the Word, letting the light of the glorious gospel of the Word shine upon you will give you everlasting peace beyond understanding. You just say to yourself, I'll rejoice, I'll have faith, and I'll be patient! Relief!!


Say this to yourself: Father thank You for indeed being spiritual comes with relief package. As I will give myself wholly to Your Word, let it breathe a new life to me in Jesus' name. Amen!

It's Great To Serve God! Part 9

LightWord: “I have found David my servant; with my holy oil have I anointed him.” Psalm 89:20 You can be a layman and still be a bonafide servant of the most high God. It is not necessary you wait till you are ordained as a pastor or an evangelist, or as of any title before you can serve God or before your services to Him can be acceptable. A confirmed original servant of God simply means anyone engaged in serving God. Do you know Job wasn't a pastor neither a prophet? Yet, God was proud and bold of him. God said to the devil have you noticed Job my servant Job 1:8 , David was just a king but he served God and became God's favorite. ( See Ps. 89:20-38 ). With God, ordination doesn't come before service but vice-versa. Just serve God as you are, everywhere you can and become God's favorite. Say this to yourself: Thank You Father because as I'm serving You, I'm confirmed Your favorite from today and I'm favored in all my ways in Jesus' name. Amen!
