DO NOT WORRY! Part 3

LightWord:

“Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.” Philippians 4:6 NIV


I was in the Bible Study some years ago where the question was raised, is it possible as humans not to worry at all? Let's get the answer from our Lord Jesus Christ himself; in Matt.6:25-31 He explained clearly on what we humans do worrying about, simply the cares of this life.


I have hardly seen anyone anxious about getting to heaven, sometimes, not even the preachers. Jesus is saying to us here not to worry about anything, and if He mean we shouldn't worry about anything, then He is able to take care of everything for us (1Pet.5:7).


Say this to yourself: Father I ask for Your forgiveness in every areas of my life that I have doubted Your power. You are more than able to take care of my life, today I surrender all to You, take over completely and I receive Your peace Jesus' name. Amen!

It's Great To Serve God! Part 9

LightWord: “I have found David my servant; with my holy oil have I anointed him.” Psalm 89:20 You can be a layman and still be a bonafide servant of the most high God. It is not necessary you wait till you are ordained as a pastor or an evangelist, or as of any title before you can serve God or before your services to Him can be acceptable. A confirmed original servant of God simply means anyone engaged in serving God. Do you know Job wasn't a pastor neither a prophet? Yet, God was proud and bold of him. God said to the devil have you noticed Job my servant Job 1:8 , David was just a king but he served God and became God's favorite. ( See Ps. 89:20-38 ). With God, ordination doesn't come before service but vice-versa. Just serve God as you are, everywhere you can and become God's favorite. Say this to yourself: Thank You Father because as I'm serving You, I'm confirmed Your favorite from today and I'm favored in all my ways in Jesus' name. Amen!
