How to Pray! Part 2

LightWord:

“...Lord, teach us to pray.” Luke 11:1


Someone once said, to know how to pray, just pray; but no. According to our focal Scripture of today, we understand that, to know how to pray, we must learn how to pray. “Pray then like this…” 2,000 years ago, Jesus taught His disciples to pray like this:


Our Father in heaven, may your name be kept holy. May your Kingdom come soon. May Your will be done on earth, as it is in heaven. Give us today the food we need, and forgive us our sins, as we have forgiven those who sin against us. And don’t let us yield to temptation, but rescue us from the evil one, For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen! MATTHEW 6:9-13


Say this to yourself: Thank You Jesus, Amen!

It's Great To Serve God! Part 9

LightWord: “I have found David my servant; with my holy oil have I anointed him.” Psalm 89:20 You can be a layman and still be a bonafide servant of the most high God. It is not necessary you wait till you are ordained as a pastor or an evangelist, or as of any title before you can serve God or before your services to Him can be acceptable. A confirmed original servant of God simply means anyone engaged in serving God. Do you know Job wasn't a pastor neither a prophet? Yet, God was proud and bold of him. God said to the devil have you noticed Job my servant Job 1:8 , David was just a king but he served God and became God's favorite. ( See Ps. 89:20-38 ). With God, ordination doesn't come before service but vice-versa. Just serve God as you are, everywhere you can and become God's favorite. Say this to yourself: Thank You Father because as I'm serving You, I'm confirmed Your favorite from today and I'm favored in all my ways in Jesus' name. Amen!
