How to Pray! Part 8

LightWord:

“And forgive us … as we forgive…” Matthew 6:12


Jesus said while praying we should Repent and respond. “And forgive us … as we forgive...” What are you holding onto that you need to lay down? Is there anything you need to confess right now? Maybe it’s a hurt you can’t let go of.


A behavior you’re struggling to change, an addiction you haven’t conquered, or a mistake you keep making. God invites you to come as you are, and respond to Him. Tell him whatever is on your mind, then create space to hear from Him.


Say this to yourself: Father, I confess that I'm a sinner and ready to change my ways, forgive me Oh Lord of all my sins, help me and make me whole in Jesus' name. Amen!

It's Great To Serve God! Part 9

LightWord: “I have found David my servant; with my holy oil have I anointed him.” Psalm 89:20 You can be a layman and still be a bonafide servant of the most high God. It is not necessary you wait till you are ordained as a pastor or an evangelist, or as of any title before you can serve God or before your services to Him can be acceptable. A confirmed original servant of God simply means anyone engaged in serving God. Do you know Job wasn't a pastor neither a prophet? Yet, God was proud and bold of him. God said to the devil have you noticed Job my servant Job 1:8 , David was just a king but he served God and became God's favorite. ( See Ps. 89:20-38 ). With God, ordination doesn't come before service but vice-versa. Just serve God as you are, everywhere you can and become God's favorite. Say this to yourself: Thank You Father because as I'm serving You, I'm confirmed Your favorite from today and I'm favored in all my ways in Jesus' name. Amen!
