How to Pray!

LightWord:

“And it came to pass, that, as he was praying in a certain place, when he ceased, one of his disciples said unto him, Lord, teach us to pray, as John also taught his disciples.” Luke 11:1


Prayer is the master key as it has been said. But how do you utilize this master key without knowing how to activate it? “Prayer.” When you see that word, what thoughts or images come to mind? Does talking to God come easy to you?


Or do you struggle to pray? Knowing what to say to God doesn’t always feel easy, and sometimes, prayer gets weighed down by our misconceptions about what a conversation with God should look like.


Say this to yourself: Holy Spirit, I submit to Your teaching, give me pure understanding so as to have an active and powerful prayer life in Jesus' name. Amen!

It's Great To Serve God! Part 9

LightWord: “I have found David my servant; with my holy oil have I anointed him.” Psalm 89:20 You can be a layman and still be a bonafide servant of the most high God. It is not necessary you wait till you are ordained as a pastor or an evangelist, or as of any title before you can serve God or before your services to Him can be acceptable. A confirmed original servant of God simply means anyone engaged in serving God. Do you know Job wasn't a pastor neither a prophet? Yet, God was proud and bold of him. God said to the devil have you noticed Job my servant Job 1:8 , David was just a king but he served God and became God's favorite. ( See Ps. 89:20-38 ). With God, ordination doesn't come before service but vice-versa. Just serve God as you are, everywhere you can and become God's favorite. Say this to yourself: Thank You Father because as I'm serving You, I'm confirmed Your favorite from today and I'm favored in all my ways in Jesus' name. Amen!
