IS GOD FIRST? Part 7
LightWord:
“And in the morning, rising up a great while before day, he went out, and departed into a solitary place, and there prayed.” Mark 1:35
Prayer simply means talking to God and then listening to Him for the day. According to our focal Scripture of today, even Jesus, our Lord and Savior, the author and the finisher of our faith do so. And because Jesus said, “Men ought always to pray…,”
We know that He expects us to pray in that manner too: earlier before daytime. This will also give us peace, which becomes more valuable than popularity. In this journey of putting God First, you will discover that obedience becomes greater than comfort.
Say this to yourself: Thank You, Father, because by the Light of Your Word, I found for myself strength, peace, clarity, purpose, and joy in Jesus' name. Amen!
