THE ONLY SUFFICIENT THING! Part 19
LightWord:
“And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.” 2 Corinthians 12:9
When Jesus taught the disciples to pray, Paul wasn’t there. Others walked with Christ face to face, while Paul was—elsewhere persecuting the church. But when grace stepped in, his past no longer defined his future.
Not because those experiences were unimportant, but because God’s grace is sufficient. We still pray, fast, and practice spiritual disciplines, but grace empowers and gives them life.
Say this to yourself: Father, I thank You for Your all-sufficient grace. Let Your grace speak on my behalf and accomplish what I cannot. Every barrier standing against Your purpose for my life, give way by Your grace in Jesus’ name. Amen!
