BE PRAYERFUL

“Ye ask, and receive not, because ye ask amiss...” James 4:3


You need to understand the covenant of prayer not just to pray effectively, but also for your prayers not to be hindered. The first principle is that you must ask before you can receive. Jesus said so in Matthew 7:7.


The second principle is to pray according to God’s will. Prayer is more than speaking words—it’s presenting your requests in agreement with His purpose. When your prayers align with His will, you position yourself to receive accurate, definite, and lasting answers. (To learn more watch for my upcoming book, Acquire Your Desire).


Say this to yourself: Thank You, Father, for teaching me to pray according to Your will. Let the words of my mouth in prayer please You and accomplish the desires You have placed in my heart, in Jesus’ mighty name. Amen!
