Expect What You Request!

LightWord:

“…Behold, there ariseth a little cloud out of the sea… Prepare thy chariot, that the rain stop thee not… and there was a great rain…” 1 Kings 18:44–45


I pray for you today that whatever your heart desires from God, He will give it to you in Jesus’ name. Amen! It is good to pray, but prayer without strong desire and expectation can become a mere religious exercise.


Many cry unto God for help, but when it is time for God to act, their low level of expectation limits them. Never let your expectations stop what God is about to do in your life! Elijah prayed for rain, and when he saw the little cloud, he knew the answer had come. Expect what you request!


Say this to yourself: Thank You, Jesus, because from today, I will never stop the answers to my prayers by my low level of expectation. My expectation shall not be cut off, in Jesus’ name. Amen!
