STRENGTH! Part 3

LightWord:

The Joy of the Lord.

“If thou faint in the day of adversity, thy strength is small.” Proverbs 24:10

The Bible makes it clear that if you faint in the day of trouble, that is a sign of weakness, real weakness, ERV. And as a child of God, you ought to go from strength to strength, not from weakness to greater weakness. The last time I shared, I said the first foundational source of strength is saying what is right with your tongue.

And that’s very correct, but not only that. A bird doesn’t fly with one wing. The second foundational source of strength is to maintain the joy of the Lord in your life. You need both your right confession and the joy of the Lord to continually walk in strength.

Say this to yourself: Father, release to me the grace to do whatever it takes, according to Your Word, to remain strong in You all the days of my life, in Jesus’ name. Amen!
