HE CAN STILL DO IT! Part 16

LightWord:

“For he spake, and it was done; He commanded, and it stood fast.” Psalm 33:9

Consider the account of Elisha and the Shunammite woman in 2 Kings 4:8–17. When Elisha declared that the woman would embrace a son, she struggled to believe the prophecy. Yet God did not fail to fulfil His Word. The woman conceived and gave birth to a son at the very time Elisha had spoken.

Elisha did not need to argue with her or persuade her to believe before God could fulfil His purpose. The promise came to pass according to the Word he had spoken.

Say this to yourself: Lord Jesus, in this season, may You help me overcome my doubts and grant me the miracles I have been trusting You for, according to Your will! Amen!
