LightWord: HAVE FAITH IN GOD “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.” Hebrews 11:1 What then is faith? With this Scripture above, one should understand that faith does not operate with the seen (physical). Faith deals with the unseen . It gives substance to our hope and brings the invisible promises of God into the realm of experience. It is indeed spiritual. Say this to yourself: Thank You, Lord Jesus, for revealing the truth of Your Word to me. By my faith in You, let my spiritual blessings become a reality in my life, in Jesus’ name. Amen!

LightWord: HAVE FAITH IN GOD “So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.” Romans 10:17 Reasoning with the Word propels understanding, and understanding of the Word brings light into your life. When you read or listen to the Word of God as information and then gain understanding by reasoning with it, you begin to see how God delivers what He has made available. Revelation is the source of living hope. Everything in God’s Kingdom is experienced to the measure of our understanding. Say this to yourself: Thank You, Jesus, because I have what the Bible says I have. I am who the Bible says I am. And I can do what the Bible says I can do. All my needs are supplied in Jesus’ name. Amen!

LightWord: HAVE FAITH IN GOD “So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.” Romans 10:17 The first hearing brings information, the second hearing brings revelation. And the key to revelation is understanding. Get this right. It is not just reading that makes you wise. It is reasoning with the Word that brings understanding. You can read as many books or verses as you want. But it won’t make much difference unless you know how to apply that knowledge. That’s why the Bible says, “In all your getting, get understanding.” Say this to yourself: Thank You, Jesus, because I am walking in the revelation knowledge of the Word of God all the days of my life, in Jesus’ name, Amen!

LightWord: “And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God” Mark 11:22 The earnest expectation of creation waits for the manifestation of the sons of God. And the level of your results in life is not determined by how long you pray. You may pray for 24 hours non-stop but without faith, prayer will not produce the desired manifestation. It is good to praise God and to pray regarding your desires, but it must be done in faith, Mark 11:24 . Faith is the bridge between your prayer and your testimony . Believe God’s Word without a second thought, and stand firmly on His promises until they become your reality. Say this to yourself: Heavenly Father, as I pray to You today concerning the desires of my heart, I believe that I receive them and declare that they are mine through Christ Jesus. Thank You for answered prayers. Amen!

LightWord: “if any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God... But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering.” James 1:5-6 Another translation of today’s Scripture says, “ask without a second thought.” To receive from God, you must ask in faith, believing that you have already received, even when the answer is not yet visible to you. It is not the quantity of your prayers that guarantees results, but the quality of your faith. Faith is what produces unhindered manifestations. The world will not remember you for how long you prayed, but for the undeniable results and testimonies that your faith in God produces. Say this to yourself: Father of glory, let Your glory be revealed in my life as I pray. Let my faith produce visible testimonies that glorify Your name, in Jesus’ name. Amen!

LightWord: BE PRAYERFUL “Ye ask, and receive not, because ye ask amiss...” James 4:3 You need to understand the covenant of prayer not just to pray effectively, but also for your prayers not to be hindered. The first principle is that you must ask before you can receive. Jesus said so in Matthew 7:7 . The second principle is to pray according to God’s will. Prayer is more than speaking words—it’s presenting your requests in agreement with His purpose . When your prayers align with His will, you position yourself to receive accurate, definite, and lasting answers. ( To learn more watch for my upcoming book, Acquire Your Desire ). Say this to yourself: Thank You, Father, for teaching me to pray according to Your will. Let the words of my mouth in prayer please You and accomplish the desires You have placed in my heart, in Jesus’ mighty name. Amen!

LightWord: BE PRAYERFUL “Ask of me, and I shall give thee the heathen for thine inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth for thy possession.” Psalms 2:8 Understand this truth. Every failure in life is ultimately a failure in prayer. God makes it clear in today’s focal scripture that there is nothing you can sincerely ask Him for that is beyond His ability to do. The challenge is often not God’s power, but our failure to ask or our weariness in asking. Scripture says, “Ye have not, because ye ask not.” God responds to faith-filled expectations. Therefore, never limit what God can do in your life. Bring your desires before Him with confidence and perseverance, knowing that He is both willing and able. Say this to yourself: Jehovah El-Shaddai, the All-Sufficient One, supplies all my needs according to His riches in glory through Christ Jesus. Thank You, Father, for answered prayers, in Jesus’ mighty name. Amen!

LightWord: BE PRAYERFUL “For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the Lord. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.” Isaiah 55:8-9 P. R. A. Y. E. R. Powerful Release Accompanies Your Earnest Request . Ask Him and He will do it. The Bible makes it clear that no matter how great your heart’s desires may seem, they are still far below what God is able to do for you. His power and ability are beyond human imagination. May this truth become established in your heart. Whatever good you desire for your life, God’s plan is even greater. His thoughts concerning you are thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you the future you hope for, ( Jer. 29:11MSG ) Say this to yourself: Thank You, Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. Today I ask that You exceed my expectations in every area of my life beyond what I can ask, think, or imagine, in Jesus’ mighty name. Amen!

LightWord: BE PRAYERFUL “Ask, and it shall be given you.” Matthew 7:7 Prayer is heartfelt communication to your Father in heaven. It is how we maintain fellowship with Him and receive from His abundant grace. Scripture says, ‘…a man can receive nothing, except it be given him from heaven.’ John 3:27. Our God is a loving Father who delights in blessing His children. Jesus revealed this wonderful truth when He encouraged us to ask God for whatever we desire according to His will. He is ready to hear and answer. Do not expect your desires to become reality without asking. Open your mouth in faith and present your requests before God. Say this to yourself: O Lord, I know You are the God who answers prayer, and You have invited me to ask. Today I ask once again that You grant the desires of my heart according to Your perfect will, in Jesus’ mighty name, Amen!

LightWord: BE PRAYERFUL “If you then, evil as you are, know how to give good and advantageous gifts to your children, how much more will your Father Who is in heaven [perfect as He is] give good and advantageous things to those who keep on asking Him!” Matthew 7:11 AMPC Every child of God has access to every good thing that God has made available through Christ Jesus. However, one of the principal ways of accessing these blessings is through prayer. In today’s Scripture, Jesus assures us that the supply is never the problem. The Father is always willing to give good things, but His children must be willing to ask. A believer whose heart is surrendered to God will desire what is good and pleasing before Him. Therefore, the good desires that God places in your heart are also among the good things He delights to give you. Prayer remains one of the keys that unlocks these blessings into your life. Say this to yourself: Father, I know You are more than able to grant the desires of my hear...

 LightWord: “Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.” Mark 11:24 Take a look about what Jesus has to say on personal prayer as a must to acquire your desire in our focal Scripture of today. Notice, Jesus didn’t say, when other people pray for you, no. That’s why He put first, ‘Whatsoever ye desire.’ That is, it is your desire. And to have them, it will be your responsibility also to pray. Then He proceeded by saying, ‘When ye pray, ye shall have them.’ There’s a definite assurance of acquiring your desires when you become a man or woman of prayer. Say this to yourself: Father, I receive today the spirit of prayer and supplication to become a man or woman of prayer all the days of my life by Your grace, in Jesus’ name, Amen!

LightWord: “And she prayed unto the LORD...” 1 Samuel 1:10 Everyone who made a mark in prayer learned to meet God personally . Hannah encountered God alone on the prayer altar, not even with her husband beside her. Jabez also stood alone before God, ( 1 Chro. 4:9-10 ).  Jacob wrestled with God alone until his destiny was transformed, and in one encounter a man became a nation ( Gen. 32:24-28 ). Likewise, God declared that He called Abraham alone and blessed him. God deals with each individual personally. Say this to yourself: Father, as I take up the responsibility of prayer afresh from today, by Your mercy, grant me the desires of my heart ( mention them specifically ), in Jesus’ mighty name, Amen!

WELCOME TO THIS GREAT MONTH OF SEPTEMBER, OUR MONTH OF GRACE !! “BUT BY THE GRACE OF GOD I AM WHAT I AM: AND HIS GRACE WHICH WAS BESTOWED UPON ME WAS NOT IN VAIN.” 1 CORINTHIANS 15:10 I PRAY THE GRACE THAT MAKES GREAT WILL REST MIGHTILY UPON YOUR LIFE. BEYOND YOUR STRENGTH AND EFFORT, MAY YOUR LIFE BECOME A VISIBLE EXPRESSION AND UNDENIABLE EVIDENCE OF GOD’S GRACE.  MAY YOU EXPERIENCE ABOUNDING GRACE, ABUNDANT GRACE, GREATER GRACE, EXCEEDING GRACE, AND ALL SUFFICIENT GRACE IN EVERY AREA OF YOUR LIFE. LightWord: “And Jabez called on the God of Israel, saying, Oh that thou wouldest bless me indeed.” 1 Chronicles 4:10 Be prayerful. If you desire to see your dreams become reality, cultivate a life of prayer. Nothing of lasting value happens by accident. You might think some good things just happened without praying, but someone may have been standing in the gap on your behalf. Still, there’s a limit to how far someone else’s prayers can carry you . No one can present your personal desires before God with the same understanding, passion, and consistency that you can. Take responsibility for your future by bringing your desires before God in prayer. As Jabez cried unto the Lord and experienced divine enlargement, God is still answering sincere prayers today. Say this to yourself: Heavenly Father, thank You for the privilege to come boldly into Your presence through prayer. Help me to remain steadfast and effective in my prayers. In Jesus’ mighty name, Amen!

LightWord: “Enter with the password: “Thank you!” Make yourselves at home, talking praise. Thank him. Worship him.” Psalms 100:4 MSG Whatever your desire may be, victory over battles seen or unseen, overcoming the enemy, living a better life, or enjoying God’s fullness, it can all be acquired through Christ. The key is approaching Him according to His Word and His will. Scripture instructs us to enter His presence with thanksgiving. It also declares, “Offer unto God thanksgiving” (Psalm 50:14), and “Whoever offers praise glorifies Me” (Psalm 50:23). Thanksgiving ushers you into His presence , and when God is with you, no force of darkness can stop His purpose for your life. Say this to yourself: My Father and my Lord Jesus Christ, I come before You with a heart full of praise. Let my thanksgiving be pleasing and acceptable in Your sight, now and forever. Thank You, Jesus. Amen!

LightWord: “Know this: GOD is God, and God, GOD.”  Psalms 100:3 MSG In the story of the ten lepers, all ten were healed, but only one returned to appreciate Jesus, and his thanksgiving was counted as faith. True thanksgiving is not only about thanking God for what He does today, But also remembering His past faithfulness, acknowledging His goodness.  Our praise doesn’t make God become GOD, nor does our silence diminish who He is . He is God all by Himself and will forever be. Say this to yourself:  Father, I acknowledge that You are God all by Yourself. Grant me the grace to praise, honor, and bless You always. In Jesus’ name, Amen!

LightWord: “...Your faith has healed and saved you.”  Luke 17:19 MSG One of the greatest secrets to receiving God’s best is thanksgiving. For me, around 85 percent of my daily prayers are thanksgiving, because I’ve learned that  gratitude is one of the simplest and most powerful ways to experience His goodness . In Luke 17, ten lepers were healed, but only one returned to thank Jesus. And that thankful heart was counted as faith, he was the only one that was made whole by Jesus. ( Luke 17:15-19 ). Say this to yourself:  Father, thank You for all You have done for me and my family. I receive the grace to live a life of gratitude today. In Jesus’ mighty name, Amen!

LightWord: “It is a good thing to give thanks unto the Lord, and to sing praises unto thy name, O most High: To shew forth thy lovingkindness in the morning, and thy faithfulness every night.” Psalms 92:1-2 Every genuine desire begins with a heart that recognizes God’s goodness. Before asking God for more, learn to thank Him for what He has already done. Scripture says it is a good thing to give thanks, morning and night. Those who cultivate gratitude open the door to greater expressions of His favor . I’ve never seen a sincere worshipper stranded in life. I have seen diverse breakthroughs and testimonies in my life, and of many via genuine thanksgiving; you are the next. Say this to yourself: Lord Jesus, forgive me for every past wrong. Fill my heart with genuine gratitude and make me a sincere worshipper and thanksgiving giver. From today, I choose to praise You in every season of my life, trusting that You are leading me into the fulfillment of my desires, in Jesus’ name. Amen!

LightWord: “I bless GOD every chance I get; my lungs expand with his praise.” Psalms 34:1 MSG The psalmist said “I bless the Lord every chance I get,” because he knew every opportunity sustained by God was another opportunity to experience His goodness. That’s why he could say, “My lungs expand His praise.” It was like breathing for him, making room for more joy, more strength. So, I encourage you, bless God every chance you get. Let gratitude become your breath. Thank Him for His fingers and you will begin to see His hand at work in your life. Say this to yourself: Jesus, I bless You in every season. My lungs expand with Your praise, in Jesus’ name. Amen!

LightWord: “I bless GOD every chance I get; my lungs expand with his praise.” Psalms 34:1 MSG Cultivate a lifestyle of gratitude. Give thanks to God always, for what He has done in the past and for what He is doing now. That's the way to acquire your desire from God. Complaints keep you stuck, praise lifts you up, that birth the saying, if you complain you will remain, if you praise, you will be raised. Do not be a great fool! Don’t forget God’s benefits. Thank Him for what you have before asking for more . Say this to yourself:  Lord Jesus, You are the reason for my life. To You belong all the glory, all the honor, and all the praise. I bless Your name today and always, in Jesus’ name. Amen!
