LightWord: “For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.” Ephesians 6:12 At creation, God also was challenged with darkness; God had plans of what to do, yet it seem it won't work until He commanded the light to shine out of darkness and things began to be in form as it were according to His vision for the creation. Like it was in the time of creation, indeed, some are still experiencing darkness, gross darkness in this world. Darkness here is not the absence of physical light, it is spiritual darkness, state of barrenness, emptyness, lack of vision, direction, full of confusion. But the good news is just as God did, you too can command light into your dark situation today. Say this to yourself: Father in the name of Jesus Christ everything that is not created by Light in my life and darkness has dominated, let Your greater Light shines upon it...

Are you experiencing darkness in any area or aspects of your life today? Does it seem nothing good is working out for you? Are you in a state of confusion or stagnation, and depression is setting in? So it was for God at the creation of the world. Everything was without form and void, completely empty, total darkness in operation; the creation seem impossible, but God spoke light into the dark situation and everything that was dark became bright by the reason of light. Say this to yourself: Lord God, thank You for being the Father of Light, let Your Light shine brighter in every of my dark situation now in Jesus' name. Amen!
