LightWord: BE PRAYERFUL “Ye ask, and receive not, because ye ask amiss...” James 4:3 You need to understand the covenant of prayer not just to pray effectively but also for your prayers not to be . One and the first of this covenant of prayer demands that you ask before you can be entitled to receive. Jesus said so in Mathew 7:7 . The second covenant of prayer is praying according to His will. Prayer is beyond opening of mouth just to say something. No! It has to go in line with the will of God to get the appropriate, accurate and definite answer you hope for. Say this to yourself: Thank You Father, for ordering my words in Your will in prayer. I pray that may the words of my mouth in prayer always please You to accomplish that which I desire in Jesus' name. Amen!

LightWord: BE PRAYERFUL “Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us.” Ephesians 3:20 God is not just able, He is more than able. So no matter what your heart desires may be, be it a turn-around, a breakthrough, family reunion, maybe you want to get married, you need a future partner, you need a new or better job, new opportunity, success, prosperity, peace, promotion or healing. The Bible says when you go to the Lord in prayer, you will have whatsoever you desire. But in your prayer request, you have to be cautioned enough not to make the same mistakes like the hypocrites in order not to hinder your prayer yourself . You need an understanding of the covenant of prayer! Say this to yourself: Lord Jesus thank You for revealing the deep things of Your will to me. Open my eyes of understanding to the covenant of prayer in Jesus' name. Amen!

LightWord: BE PRAYERFUL “...how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask him?” Matthew 7:11 Yes God said you should ask of Him the heathen that is, anything in the world you can ever think or ask; and even if that will not satisfy you enough as His own child, He says by Himself that He will hand over to you the uttermost parts of the earth which is so many more than you asked. Imagine that! Likewise in the New Covenant, Jesus came to recapitulate and remind us from our focal Scripture of today, His Father's good will for us that we should ask Him and He will give it. Just to be assured, knowing fully well that His promises are Yea and Amen! Say this to yourself: Father Lord Jesus teaches me to pray according to Your will to have my heart desires acquired in Jesus name. Amen!

LightWord: BE PRAYERFUL “Ask of me, and I shall give thee the heathen for thine inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth for thy possession.” Psalms 2:8 Understand this truth, every failure in life is a failure in prayer! God says in our focal Scripture of today, there is nothing you desire and ask Him for it, that He's not able. But the challenge is that you have not been asking or you are rather tired of asking. Scripture says "...yet ye have not, because ye ask not." The fact remains that God meet us at our expectations, so don't limit God of what He can do for you. Ask of Him in prayer. Say this to yourself: Jehovah Elshadai - The All Sufficient One, supply all my needs according to Your riches in glory. Thank You Father for answered prayers, in Jesus name. Amen!

LightWord: BE PRAYERFUL “For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the Lord. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.” Isaiah 55:8-9 P.R.A.Y.E.R - Powerful Release Accompany Your Earnest Request . That's it! Ask of Him, He will do it. The Bible makes it clear that no matter how big or great you may think your heart desires is, yet it is not up to a percent of what God can give to you. May your understanding catch that! Not different from what good you desire about yourself. It's only far and beyond what you can think of; and it's all thought of peace and not of evil in anyway, that He may give you what exactly you expect - desire ( Jer.29:11 ) Message Translation says to give you the future you hope for. Say this to yourself: Thank You Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, today I ask of You that You exceed my expectations in all ways in Jesus' name. Amen!

LightWord: BE PRAYERFUL “Ask, and it shall be given you.” Matthew 7:7 Prayer is a heartfelt communication to your Father in heaven to keep in touch with Him . For the Scripture says “...A man can receive nothing, except it be given him from heaven.” (John 3:27) Our God is a loving Father that will always want His Children for good.  Jesus came to reveal this secret unto us by saying ask of Him anything you desire in prayer, He is ever ready to give it to you. You must not just be embarrassing God and waiting for your desires to be acquired without asking, you have to open your mouth wide and ask of Him whatever you desire. Say this to yourself: O Lord, I know You are the God that answers prayer and You want me to ask from You. This I ask of You again that You grant all my heart desire in Jesus' name. Amen!
