LIGHT WORD

LightWord: “And that, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep: for now, is our salvation nearer than when we believed.” Romans 13:11 The night is far spent, the day is at hand. Let us take time to audit ourselves, are you still finding it difficult to worship God with your life? Are you so distracted and lose focus that you can not study God's Word in 30minutes and you are tired? Wait a minute I need you to audit these things because your place of interest is a pointer to where you are going to end. Say this to yourself: Lord my heart, my soul, and my life belongs to You. My interest is in You Lord, help my faith in Jesus name Amen!

LightWord: “And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh.” Luke 21:28 Not quite long, the whole nation trembled at the impact of a deadly virus that comes upon the earth, world market becomes tough, economy holocaust everywhere. Close down, lockdown and many more create a serious negative impact on all. And many see reasons to forget about serving the God that saves them. But Scripture says when these things begin to take place, straighten up and lift up your heads, be aware, be watchful because your redemption is drawing nearer. Say this to yourself: I refuse to be distracted, I refuse to lose focus, I receive grace to be at alert in Jesus' name. Amen!

LightWord: “And that, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep: for now, is our salvation nearer than when we believed.” Romans 13:11 From our vocal Scripture of today, Apostle Paul says here that knowing the time, the high time to be awake is very paramount because some seasons must not catch you unaware. We must always be at alert. We must always be watchful and prepared. When certain seasons come at some particular time, sleeping could be so dangerous. A time where sleeping could make us lose all we have spent our lives guarding. My Question again is what says the time now? Say this to yourself: Father Lord, I don't want to be ignorant of this time, let not this season caught me sleeping but fully awake and watchful by Your grace in Jesus' name. Amen!

LightWord: “And that, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep: for now, is our salvation nearer than when we believed.” Romans 13:11 Now is the time to awake out of sleep of carnal security, sloth, and negligence. It's high time we awake out of the sleep of spiritual slumbering and out of the sleep of spiritual deadness. Considering the time, a perilious time, also very necessary the salvation nigh at hand. Let us mind our way, our salvation is nearer than the time we believed. Let's make ourselves ready, the night is far spent, the day is at hand. Say this to yourself: I declare I'm fully awake out of my spiritual death by the help of the Holy Spirit, and I cast off the sinful work of darkness, I call the light of God into my Life in Jesus' name. Amen!

LightWord: “Blessed is that servant, whom his lord when he cometh shall find so doing.” Matthew 24:46 This is the Lord drawing our ears to be awakened especially in time like this. To take seriously the ministry we have received of Him, to do it diligently, patiently waiting for His return. For all these signs all over the world clearly defines the end-time nearer than we think. Are you truly ready for His coming back? Hope you will not be caught unaware? Say this to yourself: Father Lord, help me to diligently serve You and to always be prepared for You my Savior in Jesus' name. Amen!

LightWord: “Blessed is that servant, whom his lord when he cometh shall find so doing.” Matthew 24:46 Do you know with the issues going on around the world today, it's no longer a news that truly the coming of Jesus Christ is fast approaching? And He is coming only for the prepared servant. Are you at alert? Because we are in a very serious time, and this is another opportunity God is giving the Church to awake out of her sleep. Say this to yourself: Father Lord, I thank You for this awesome opportunity for reawakening and awakening me from my sleep. Lord I ask for Your divine revelation in this series and that You will help me to stay alert in Jesus' name. Amen!

LightWord: “Blessed is that servant, whom his lord when he cometh shall find so doing.” Matthew 24:46 I welcome you to another powerful series, “Be Watchful” and by the special grace of God, I believe you will encounter a strong awakening from any area you might have been sleeping. I pray you receive grace to always be ready and prepared for the coming of the Master. From our focal Scripture, there is a kind of servant called Blessed! A servant find so doing when his lord shall return. Say this to yourself: Lord Jesus, thank You for a quick reminder of Your coming back, may I receive the grace not to be caught unaware at Your returning in Jesus' name. Amen!

LightWord: “Therefore whoever hears these sayings of Mine, and does them, I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on the rock.” Matthew 7:24 NKJV Scripture says whoever seek God early shall find Him, yet God says because you have refused to obey Him, though you seek Him as early as possible, you won't find Him. ( Proverbs 8:17, 1:28 ) Why? Because wisdom is a non-negotiable requirement to live a life of peace and prosperity; and that is putting God's Word to practice ( Matthew 7:24 ). Be wise!!  Say this to yourself: Thank You Father for the truth of Your Word. Doing Your will is what guarantees my victory and accomplishment in life, help me to be wise enough in constantly applying the truth of Your Word in Jesus' name. Amen!

LightWord: “Thus says the Lord, your Redeemer, The Holy One of Israel: “I am the Lord your God, Who teaches you to profit, Who leads you by the way you should go. Oh, that you had heeded My commandments! Then your peace would have been like a river, And your righteousness like the waves of the sea.” Isaiah 48:17-18 God's Word is full of truth, full of wonder ways and full of life. It is the only truth that can make your life 100percent free from all bondages and makes you live your best life now. However, it takes complete obedience to His Word for that to be. The top is free and open for everyone, yet, it takes total obedience of His Word to get there and remain there. (read Deuteronomy 28:1-2 ) Say this to yourself: Lord Jesus, give me grace to make complete obedience of Your Word my lifestyle now and for ever in Jesus' name. Amen!

You simply need God for everything! God over everything! And God is nowhere but in His Word; surprisingly, many are looking for Him where they cannot see Him. Make your research of Him in His Word. He can be whatever you want Him to be for you. He is I am that I am, that is, He is whatever you want Him to be anytime, anywhere, any day. That is the truth. Yet, for the truth to work for you, then you have to walk in the path of the truth. Say this to yourself: Thank You Father for the unveiling of Your truth, give me the Spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of You to better understand and walk in this truth in Jesus' name. Amen!

LightWord: “If they listen and obey God, they will be blessed with prosperity throughout their lives. All their years will be pleasant.” Job 36:11 NLT Let me tell you, the logic is simple, there's nothing you are looking for today that is not in God. Peace, health, riches and wealth, long life, success, fame, husband, wife, children, name it, everything you need is in Him. Hear him unveiling the secret to us in Matthew 6:33 . So, in getting all these things, the requirement is just to seek Him, that is, serve Him in accordance to His Word. That's it! This principle is valid till date. Say this to yourself: Father thank You for the provision already made available for me as a result of my services. Help me serve You diligently and that in righteousness for the rest of my life in Jesus' name. Amen!

LightWord: “If they listen and obey God, they will be blessed with prosperity throughout their lives. All their years will be pleasant.” Job 36:11 NLT I will never forget these sayings that comes my way at the early stage of my life, it changes my life and still changing it till date and for ever it will be. One of it says, “when you mind God's business, God will mind your business.”  Another says, “when you do God's work proper, God will prosper your work.” Check this also, “when you put God's work as a priority, God will make you His priority.” Think and ponder on these words. Say this to yourself: Thank You Holy Spirit for You will help me in doing my own part to serve God acceptably and appropriately in Your grace in Jesus' name. Amen!

LightWord: “And the Lord said, Shall I hide from Abraham that thing which I do.” Genesis 18:17 The fact is, how committed you are to God's work will determine how committed He will be to your own work. In the Scripture, Pastor James says, the more you get closer to God, the more He makes you His personal person. Check out our father Abraham, how loyal, committed, faithful he is to God, as a result, God confessed He cannot hide anything from Abraham His servant. Say this to yourself: Father thank You for the  knowledge  of Your Word. I ask for grace to be completely committed in serving You all my days in Jesus' name. Amen!

LightWord: “And the Lord said, Shall I hide from Abraham that thing which I do.” Genesis 18:17 Many Christians are walking in half of their spiritual authority and power today because they are not fully walking in their calling. They don’t realize this, That the reason the men of God [they run to] are walking in more spiritual authority is because they are more fully committed to their calling. Not necessarily because they are more holy. Say this to yourself: Father thank You for the level You are taking me to as a result of my commitment to Your work in Jesus' name. Amen!

LightWord: “I am coming soon. Hold on to what you have so that no one can take away your crown.” Revelation 3:11 [NET] After hearing God's Word and touching her heart so deep from the preacher, the next week, she applied to join the choir. Just as it is written, the reward of her services manifested. You cannot be serving God and end up in shame in any situation. Serving God is greatly gainful. No one is ever shameful of what is gainful. Are you like Nkechi? Then, it's time for you repent and even now. Say this to yourself: Thank You Father for this chance given me again. Lord Jesus, help me never to be distracted in serving You all the days of my life in Jesus' name. Amen!

Hold on to what you have so that no one can take away your crown.” Revelation 3:11 [NET] Nkechi pastor went on to define fruitfulness as when your life produces the fruit of the spirit and also when it produces the fruit of God’s investment in you (gifts). He now went on to use singing as an example; That if a Christian hides (ignores) his talent and ministry, that Christian is not fruitful. She broke down in tears and repented. She knew she had been playing with her reward and walking in disobedience. Say this to yourself: Thank You Father, God of the second chance. By the help of the Holy Spirit let there be corrections of every error causing me not to serve as I ought in Jesus' name. Amen!

LightWord: “I am coming soon. Hold on to what you have so that no one can take away your crown.” Revelation 3:11 [NET] Nkechi prayed, but she knew that her prayers were not going anywhere. She started asking the Lord why she didn’t feel the flow of His Spirit and the normal assurance she would receive when she prayed. The next day, Nkechi heard her pastor preaching from John 15 . He said that the reason many Christians do not see answered prayers is because they are not fruitful ( see John 15:16) . Say this to yourself: Lord Jesus, help me to deal with everything depriving me of my real blessing as a reward from serving You in Jesus' name. Amen!

LightWord: “I am coming soon. Hold on to what you have so that no one can take away your crown.” Revelation 3:11 [NET]  Serving God really pays, and it is proofed to pays the most. Nkechi knew she was supposed to be singing and using her beautiful voice to edify many and draw them to the kingdom of God. But she was too busy with her bank job to think about that. One day, she lost her job and had to pray to the Lord to help her find another one or find something productive to do. Say this to yourself: Father please help me to deal with every distraction that may seem very important, hindering me from serving You the way I should in Jesus' name. Amen!

LightWord: “But he that is greatest among you shall be your servant.” Matthew 23:11 You must understand truly that God is a rewarder. He doesn't use you and dump you, He use you and make you. Apostle Paul can tell you that the reward of everyone He called (to serve Him) is glory. ( See Romans 8:30 ) I can assure you, when you are a true servant of God practically by serving Him, you don't beg Him for some stuffs, great stuffs I mean, they just come to you as a reward. Every servant of God are entitled for greatness. Say this to yourself: Father, thank You for the election of grace to be Your servant serving You in the kingdom. Let Your Holy Spirit keep helping me in Jesus' name. Amen!

LightWord: “But he that is greatest among you shall be your servant.” Matthew 23:11 Do you know man award but God reward? The difference between the two is that, award will only last for a period of time while reward last forever; yet both comes in credit of your services. There is no reward without you working for it, it comes as a result of your work. And one thing is certain, God is never a robber, He is a great rewarder. Say this to yourself: Father, today I receive the required grace to serve You all my life genuinely, committedly, tirelessly and joyfully that my reward might be great in Jesus' name. Amen!

THE NINE MONTH IS KNOWN FOR FRUITFULNESS, EVERYTHING THAT HAS NOT BROUGHT FORTH TILL NOW, SHALL BEGIN TO YIELD HER FRUIT. THE LORD SAID, IT SHALL BE FOR YOU SEPTEMBER TO REMEMBER FOR GOOD.
