LightWord: BE PRAYERFUL “Ye ask, and receive not, because ye ask amiss...” James 4:3 You need to understand the covenant of prayer not just to pray effectively but also for your prayers not to be . One and the first of this covenant of prayer demands that you ask before you can be entitled to receive. Jesus said so in Mathew 7:7 . The second covenant of prayer is praying according to His will. Prayer is beyond opening of mouth just to say something. No! It has to go in line with the will of God to get the appropriate, accurate and definite answer you hope for. Say this to yourself: Thank You Father, for ordering my words in Your will in prayer. I pray that may the words of my mouth in prayer always please You to accomplish that which I desire in Jesus' name. Amen!

LightWord: BE PRAYERFUL “Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us.” Ephesians 3:20 God is not just able, He is more than able. So no matter what your heart desires may be, be it a turn-around, a breakthrough, family reunion, maybe you want to get married, you need a future partner, you need a new or better job, new opportunity, success, prosperity, peace, promotion or healing. The Bible says when you go to the Lord in prayer, you will have whatsoever you desire. But in your prayer request, you have to be cautioned enough not to make the same mistakes like the hypocrites in order not to hinder your prayer yourself . You need an understanding of the covenant of prayer! Say this to yourself: Lord Jesus thank You for revealing the deep things of Your will to me. Open my eyes of understanding to the covenant of prayer in Jesus' name. Amen!

LightWord: BE PRAYERFUL “...how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask him?” Matthew 7:11 Yes God said you should ask of Him the heathen that is, anything in the world you can ever think or ask; and even if that will not satisfy you enough as His own child, He says by Himself that He will hand over to you the uttermost parts of the earth which is so many more than you asked. Imagine that! Likewise in the New Covenant, Jesus came to recapitulate and remind us from our focal Scripture of today, His Father's good will for us that we should ask Him and He will give it. Just to be assured, knowing fully well that His promises are Yea and Amen! Say this to yourself: Father Lord Jesus teaches me to pray according to Your will to have my heart desires acquired in Jesus name. Amen!

LightWord: BE PRAYERFUL “Ask of me, and I shall give thee the heathen for thine inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth for thy possession.” Psalms 2:8 Understand this truth, every failure in life is a failure in prayer! God says in our focal Scripture of today, there is nothing you desire and ask Him for it, that He's not able. But the challenge is that you have not been asking or you are rather tired of asking. Scripture says "...yet ye have not, because ye ask not." The fact remains that God meet us at our expectations, so don't limit God of what He can do for you. Ask of Him in prayer. Say this to yourself: Jehovah Elshadai - The All Sufficient One, supply all my needs according to Your riches in glory. Thank You Father for answered prayers, in Jesus name. Amen!

LightWord: BE PRAYERFUL “For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the Lord. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.” Isaiah 55:8-9 P.R.A.Y.E.R - Powerful Release Accompany Your Earnest Request . That's it! Ask of Him, He will do it. The Bible makes it clear that no matter how big or great you may think your heart desires is, yet it is not up to a percent of what God can give to you. May your understanding catch that! Not different from what good you desire about yourself. It's only far and beyond what you can think of; and it's all thought of peace and not of evil in anyway, that He may give you what exactly you expect - desire ( Jer.29:11 ) Message Translation says to give you the future you hope for. Say this to yourself: Thank You Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, today I ask of You that You exceed my expectations in all ways in Jesus' name. Amen!

LightWord: BE PRAYERFUL “Ask, and it shall be given you.” Matthew 7:7 Prayer is a heartfelt communication to your Father in heaven to keep in touch with Him . For the Scripture says “...A man can receive nothing, except it be given him from heaven.” (John 3:27) Our God is a loving Father that will always want His Children for good.  Jesus came to reveal this secret unto us by saying ask of Him anything you desire in prayer, He is ever ready to give it to you. You must not just be embarrassing God and waiting for your desires to be acquired without asking, you have to open your mouth wide and ask of Him whatever you desire. Say this to yourself: O Lord, I know You are the God that answers prayer and You want me to ask from You. This I ask of You again that You grant all my heart desire in Jesus' name. Amen!

LightWord: BE PRAYERFUL “If you then, evil as you are, know how to give good and advantageous gifts to your children, how much more will your Father Who is in heaven [perfect as He is] give good and advantageous things to those who keep on asking Him!” Matthew 7:11 AMPC Every Child of God is entitled to every good things in heavenly places through Christ Jesus. But one of the way to access these good things is by prayer. Jesus says in our focal Scripture of today that the supply is reliable, but the recipient must be able to ask. A good believer in his/her right sense shouldn't have any bad desires in his/her heart, so the good news is that every good desires of your heart are also part of every good things you are entitled to. And prayer is an important key to unlock these good things into your life . Say this to yourself: Father, I know You are more than able to give to me all my heart desires, as I lift up my voice in asking, amaze not only me but let everyone be aware that Yo

LightWord: “Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.” Mark 11:24 Take a look about what Jesus has to say on personalized prayer as a must to acquire your desire in our focal Scripture of today. Notice, Jesus didn't say when other people pray for you, no. That's why He put first - "whatsoever ye(you) desire", that is, it is your desire; and to have them, it will be your responsibility also to pray. Then, He proceeded by saying, "when ye(you) pray, you shall have them." There's a definite assurance of acquiring your desires when you become a man or woman of prayer . Say this to yourself: Father, I receive today the spirit of prayer and supplication to become a man/woman of prayer all the days of my life by Your grace in Jesus' name. Amen!

LightWord: “And she prayed unto the LORD...” 1 Samuel 1:10 Everyone who made mark in prayer, made it alone. Hannah made it alone with God on the prayer altar (Not even with her husband) 1 Sam.1:9-13 ; Jabez stood all alone with God 1 Chr.4:9-10 ; Jacob took his destiny at his hand and wrestle all alone till a person became a nation overnight Gen. 32:24-28 . God said, He called Abraham alone and blessed him alone. God deals with everyone on individual basis. Waiting on someone to pray for you or depending on someone praying for you might be a waste of time and you might be on the waiting list till eternity. Don't forget the story of the man at the pool of Bethesda waiting on someone else for almost thirty-eight years. John 5 Say this to yourself: Father, as I take on the responsibility of prayer from today afresh, I pray that by Your mercy You will be granting me my heart desires (name it) in Jesus name. Amen!

LightWord: “And Jabez called on the God of Israel, saying, Oh that thou wouldest bless me indeed.” 1 Chronicles 4:10 Be Prayerful - You must have this in mind, that to see your desires becomes a reality, you have to be a man/woman of prayer . Nothing happens by accident. You may be thinking many good things has come your way without even praying for it; Yes you might have not prayed for it but the fact is that, there is someone out there praying for you. But how great will it now be for you to focus on your desires yourself in prayer; because there's always a limit someone else can pray for you and moreover, it may not be as accurate as it ought to be. Say this to yourself: Heavenly Father thank You for the privilege giving me to come before You in prayer in Jesus' name. Amen!

LightWord: “Enter with the password: “Thank you!” Make yourselves at home, talking praise. Thank him. Worship him.” Psalms 100:4 MSG There is no form of desire in whatever length: be it winning battles both visible or invisible, overcoming Satan and his agent, living a better life or extremely enjoying the fullness of God in the land of the living, that cannot be all acquired through Christ. All you need is to know how to approach Him in line with His will. His Word says Enter with the password: "Thank you!"; offer unto God thanksgiving; and God says whoso offers praise glorifies Me (Psalm 50:14 KJV, 50:23 NIV) . All these commands God's presence with you and if God be for you, no devil from hell can hinder the delivery of your desire. Say this to yourself: My Father and my Lord Jesus Christ, here I am to offer my praise from now and for ever, may it be acceptable before you Lord. Thank You Jesus. Amen!

LightWord: “Know this: GOD is God, and God, GOD.”  Psalms 100:3 MSG Praising God always, those not change God to be God, and refusing to praise God daily those not change God not to be God. He is God and will forever be God! He is the Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. No one like Him! Our beginning that has no beginning and our end without an end. The Ancient of days. Praising God at all times is just a corresponding action of Him blessing you non-stop . Say this to yourself: Father, I know You exist in Yourself, You are God all by Yourself. Give me the grace to praise and bless You always and all my life in Jesus' name. Amen!

LightWord: “...Your faith has healed and saved you.” Luke 17:19 MSG Almost 85% of my prayer request to God everyday is always on thanksgiving because I've learnt how to get the best from God in a best and simplest way. Jesus said "Were there not ten cleansed? but where are the nine?" In this Scripture, only one came back to thank Jesus again with an heartfelt gratitude and he was the only one that was made whole by Jesus. ( Luke17:15-19 ) May be the plan of God for the ten is to be made whole; but the only one that knows how to get the best from God continued to thank God and Jesus counted it as faith. Sincere thanks giver are those who give thanks always of the past deed. Say this to yourself: Father, thank You for all You've done for me and my family, I receive the attitude of gratitude today in Jesus' name. Amen!

  LightWord: “It is a good thing to give thanks unto the Lord, and to sing praises unto thy name, O most High: To shew forth thy lovingkindness in the morning, and thy faithfulness every night.” Psalms 92:1-2 Above all, the Bible says it is a good thing to always give thanks to the Lord; in the morning and every night. Because our God is worthy to be praised. He says, he that praise Me glorifies Me. I've never seen a sincere thanks giver that is stranded in life. If you know how to appreciate God, thank Him and Worship Him continually despite all odds, then you've known the best way to acquire what you desire . I have seen diverse breakthroughs and testimonies in the life of many via genuine thanksgiving; you are the next. Say this to yourself: Jesus, forgive me of my past wrong. I pray today to be a sincere thanks giver, to continually worship You in Jesus' name. Amen!

LightWord: “I bless GOD every chance I get; my lungs expand with his praise.” Psalms 34:1 MSG The Psalmist says I bless God every chance I get, because he knew any chance sustained by God for him is another chance for him to be blessed by God if well maximize with thanksgiving; That is why he said "my lungs expand with his praise". Moreover, until you know how to appreciate God for the little things, bigger ones can't come your way. Thank Him for His fingers and you will begin to see His hand at work in your life. Say this to yourself: Father, I am so grateful for all the things You've done for me in the past and present, may Your name alone be praised in Jesus' name. Amen!

LightWord: “I bless GOD every chance I get; my lungs expand with his praise.” Psalms 34:1 MSG To acquire your desire, you must cultivate an attitude of gratitude of what He has done for you in the past and what He has make you to become in the present. Enough of complains, be highly focused on how to obtain what you desire. If you complain, you will remain but if you praise, you will be raised. Be thankful to God at all times. Do not be a great fool! Forget not all His benefits in your life. Indeed there are great desires you want God to make real in your life, but you must first always bless Him in anticipation of Him blessing you. Make it a habit. Say this to yourself: Jesus You are the reason for my living. To You be all the glory, all the honor and all the adoration. I bless Your name Lord in Jesus' name. Amen!

LightWord: “Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name.” (Psalms 100:4) One of the major ways to obtain what looks big and invisible is by giving thanks to God . Appreciating Him for who He is and what He has done first; this includes Creation and Salvation, and in their various dimensions. Second, giving Him thanks for the privilege you have as a person to be alive today. You shouldn't be surprised that many still died this morning, desires become invalid and great dreams are terminated. So, you should worship Him for the breath of life that makes you a living soul today, to hope for the morrow. (Isaiah 38:18) Say this to yourself: Father I am so grateful for the privilege to be alive today, giving me hope of the fulfillment of my desires in Jesus' name. Amen!

LightWord: “[Not in your own strength] for it is God Who is all the while effectually at work in you [energizing and creating in you the power and desire], both to will and to work for His good pleasure and satisfaction and delight.” Philippians 2:13 AMP It's always a great joy for one to see his desire becomes a reality. But most of the time, desire not being acquired makes one tired. The simple truth is that knowing what is available is not enough than knowing how to obtain what is available. It's not enough to dream but to do. Somebody once said "when you wake up from dreaming, start doing" . If you are really desperate to acquire your heart desires, be rest assured that there are certain steps you have to take, there are some levels of faith you have to get to, to see the manifestation of your imagination. Say this to yourself: Father, let your grace be sufficient for me both to will and to do in Jesus' name. Amen!

LightWord: “Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables...” Habakkuk 2:2 I believe you have some desires to acquire. You've dreamed dreams, you've set some goals you would like to see come true. And if you haven't, why not do that before you read on. Just write down three really important things; Things that you would like to see become a reality in your life even this year. It's important for you to also know that anything you desire is available, and once it is available it can be obtainable. All things are possible! Say this to yourself: Thank You Jesus, because by God's grace, I will acquire all my desires even this year in Jesus' name. Amen!
