LightWord: “Skilled workers will always serve kings. They will never have to work for less important people.” Proverbs 22:29 ERV In making the most of this year, stop looking or waiting for opportunity, be the opportunity people (kings) are looking for. Don't let people be fed up by you rather they should be fed by you , after being well developed in capacity and character. It's funny to also know that sometimes people especially religious people do nothing, they only wish to succeed. Most of the time, religiously they say, I know God will do it! God will do what? It's important to know that God will never do for you what you ought to do for yourself. Develop yourself!! Say this to yourself: Father, help me this year in developing myself at every areas that matters that I might scale new heights You've prepared for me this year in Jesus' name. Amen!

LightWord: “Observe people who are good at their work— skilled workers are always in demand and admired; they don’t take a backseat to anyone.” Proverbs 22:29 MSG The good news is when you sow the seed of the harvest of blessing you want God to bless you with, you will reap far beyond what you sow. Luke 6:38 . The last nugget which is the fifth point in maximing this year is to,  Develop yourself in Character and Capacity. It's funny when people say they are waiting for any opportunity to succeed, but the truth is, such people just keep waiting. This year, don't be like them. Develop yourself first , and you'll see that opportunity is all around you. Say this yourself: Father give me grace in discipling myself to develop myself for the greatness You've prepared for me this year in Jesus' name. Amen!

LightWord: “And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing.” Genesis 12:2 This was God speaking to our father of faith Abraham on a journey of a new chapter of his life, the primary purpose for which he will be blessed, that he might be a blessing. This is a new year, a new chapter which can productively produce a new you if you will abide by the rule. This year, look for every avenue to be a blessing to God's kingdom ( Matt.6:33 ), your pastor ( Matt.10:40-42 ), your family ( Eph.6:1-4) , people around you ( Gal.6:9-10 ), less privileges ( Matt.25:37-40 ), this is also one of the secret of Job's blessing ( Job29:1-4, 11-16 ). Remember, it's more blessed to give than to receive. Acts 20:35 . Say this to yourself: By the enabling grace of Christ I am a blessing to my world. I am a source of blessing, joy, and happiness to many people this year and so I'm full with the blessing of the Lord in Jesus

LightWord: “And David perceived that the Lord had confirmed him king over Israel, for his kingdom was lifted up on high, because of his people Israel.” 1 Chronicles 14:2 We were told from the Scripture above the reason God lifted up on high the kingdom of David was simply because of God's people. The same goes for his son Solomon 1Kings 3:6-14. This is the key, when God sees your heart truly that you ain't self-centered, That your desire is to be a blessing to people around you regardless of the little or much you have, then you don't have to beg God to bless you, He will just keep blessing you. This year be driven in becoming a blessing to people. Say this to yourself: Father, help me not to be self-centered this year but to always be mindful of others, being a blessing to my world that Your name may be glorified through me in Jesus' name. Amen!

LightWord: “Great blessings belong to those who show mercy to others. Mercy will be given to them.” Matthew 5:7 ERV Here is another vital point you need to assimilate and practice often in making the most of this new year. Sometimes, what we do on the instead is the opposite and eventually leads to heaviness of heart at the end of the year. The number four nugget of the five things needed to be fulfilled in a new year like this is to BE A BLESSING . Instead of expecting to be helped and favored by men, you do it as you have the capacity and see the turn around by God. Say this to yourself: Father, thank You for endowing me with too much grace to be a blessing everywhere at every level in Jesus' name. Amen!

LightWord: “If you, then, being evil [that is, sinful by nature], know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask and continue to ask Him!” Luke 11:13 AMP My advice for you on this third point is, don't struggle to do things on your own this year, never be moved by what you are seeing around but just by what the Spirit is revealing to you. If He shows you just one goal for the whole year, don't add your own to it, let it be just like that. You really want to be fulfilled in this year 2023?, let the Holy Spirit guide you through, you just follow. Say this to yourself: Spirit of the living God, I confess without You I can do nothing, I need You this year: show me the way to go, lead me the right path, guide me and instruct me and I'm ready to follow by the grace of God in Jesus' name. Amen!

LightWord: “And thine ears shall hear a word behind thee, saying, This is the way, walk ye in it, when ye turn to the right hand, and when ye turn to the left. ” Isaiah 30:21 Someone once said, another meaning of insanity is to keep doing the same thing same way and expect a different outcome . It can't just work! If you will agree with me, one of the major things that causes frustration and sometimes leads to depression at the end of the year is, When most of our goals or resolution written at the beginning of the year never get accomplished. Simply because they were written out of ambition and without the Holy Spirit leading us. Don't give room for that again this year, no need to rush, just patiently wait for the leading of the Holy Spirit. Say this to yourself: Father, I wait for Your Spirit, to reveal to me the way to my fulfillment this year. I refuse to do things again my way, my inner ears are open to Your instructions, and just as You lead me, I will follow in Jesus&#

LightWord: “For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.” Romans 8:14 Another thing that needed understanding in making sure this year is a fulfilled year, the third thing of the five nuggests, which is, don't ever write any goal or aim for the year except it's been led or inspired by God. Many people should by now have learnt a lot from their past years but yet we tend to do the same thing over and over and expect different results. Don't be suprise, the year might just be as the previous if you will do it again your own way. Say this to yourself: Father help me not to do my will but just as You planned for my life this year for Your glory in Jesus' name. Amen!

LightWord: “No temptation [regardless of its source] has overtaken or enticed you that is not common to human experience; but God is faithful [to His word—He is compassionate and trustworthy]...” 1 Corinthians 10:13 AMP Whatsoever the Lord has declared this year to be unto you, here is the good news, He is faithful to make it so. If He has said this is your year of help from above, He is faithful to His Word. As a matter of fact, His faithfulness should provoke you to praising Him in advance knowing fully well that whatever He says, yes He has done it. Even in the temptations you might face this year, Scripture says He is still faithful to His Word . Praise Him in advance! Say this to yourself: To the One who is ever faithful and realiable God, I praise You and give You thanks in advance for this glorious year You've made so for me in Jesus' name. Amen!

LightWord: “After consulting the people, the king appointed singers to walk ahead of the army, singing to the Lord and praising him for his holy splendor. This is what they sang: “Give thanks to the Lord; his faithful love endures forever!”” 2 Chronicles 20:21 NLT You know what, the year might be new to you but amazingly, it's not to God. That's why He is called the Alpha and Omega. He already knows every details of the year, He sees all that will happen till December 31st. And in other to be fulfilled in the year, I think it is wise to partner with Him. One of the ways to doing that is praising Him in advance. Praise Him for the victory of each month, thank Him for the provision and protection of each day. Say this to yourself: Lord, I just want to praise and thank You for the wonderful things You have well planned out for me this very year. Glory be to Your Holy Name in Jesus' name. Amen!

LightWord: “Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.” Philippians 4:6 NIV The second of the five nuggets said to be done in making the most of the year 2023 as we are in the race already, is to Praise God and give thanks to Him in advance for each and every month of the year. When you thank God in advance for all the single days, weeks and twelve (12) month of this new year, then you have commit God to make it a reality of everyday thanksfulness for you. He will make sure you end each day with thanksgiving. Say this to yourself: Father, with a sincere heart I open up my mouth to say thank You for every single seconds, minutes and hours in this year in Jesus' name. Amen!

LightWord: “The seventh time around, when the priests sounded the trumpet blast, Joshua commanded the army, “Shout! For the Lord has given you the city!” Joshua 6:16 NIV In focus of this year, after thanking and appreciating God deeply and sincerely for all His doings in your life in the previous years, the number second thing you need to do is to now "thank God in advance for this year." What this simply means is that, you're already securing the new year in a good deal with God. Praise Him and give thanks in advance for each and every month of the year 2023. This will also give you an advantage over the year causing you to triumph on every side. Say this to yourself: Lord Jesus, I lift up my heart, my hands and my voice in praise of Your Holy Name, thanking You in advance for the year 2023. Accept my praise and thanksgiving in Jesus' name. Amen!

LightWord: “I will remember the works of the Lord: surely I will remember thy wonders of old.” Psalm 77:11 This is one of the secret of David, a blessed man. He will never forget all that the Lord has done for him ( Psl.103:1-2 ), regardless of how the year looks to him, he will still be wise enough to keep records of God's wonders in his life and give glory to God. That's why God keep blessing him. Record keeper are thanks giver, and thanks giver are blessings receiver. Never think it doesn't really matter to God, dear, it does! ( Luke 17:15-18) . Say this to yourself: For all You've done for me and for who You are to me all my life, with a grateful heart, I bow down and say aloud to You alone be all the glory in Jesus' name. Amen!

LightWord: “I will remember the works of the Lord : surely I will remember thy wonders of old.” Psalm 77:11 I prophecy into your life, as you have seen the first day of this year, you will likewise see December 31st of it by the special grace and mercy of God. And for this year not to be like every other years in the past, That is, to be better, more meaningful, fruitful and productive, then, first thing you need to do is to " Deeply, Sincerely Appreciate and Thank God Almighty for the previous years of your life. " ( Psl.77:11, Heb.13:8, 15, Psl.124, Jer.13:16 ) Say this to yourself: Father from the bottom of my heart I just want to say thank You Jehovah. Thank You Lord for the previous years of my life. If not for You Lord. Thank You Jesus!!!

But if not, after that you can cut it down.’ ”” Luke 13:8‭-‬9 NKJV I want you to know that this is from gathered and proved experiences of people including myself in this issue of this year. If you will put this in focus and work by it then you will experience a new, fresh you at every new year. There are things you need and must know at every start of the year and in preperation of the new year for you to be truthfully fruitful, to be riding on eagles wings even in the storms that might come in that year. I will share with you just 5 nuggets! Say this to yourself: Father, I cry out for the revelational knowledge of Your Word. Let me find light in Your glorious Light to experience a new life in this year in Jesus' name. Amen!

 LightWord: “‘Sir, let it alone THIS YEAR also, until I dig around it and fertilize it. And if it bears fruit, well. But if not, after that you can cut it down.’ ”” Luke 13:8‭-‬9 NKJV This year is a very common and popular saying of people especially when the year is still fresh. I will do this and that this year, I will become this and that this year. Is this good? Yes, it's fine! The only thing is that, statistics has shown that many people don't realize thirthy to fifty percentage (30/50%) of their aims or goals of the new year. Say this to yourself: Father I thank You for Your faithfulness in my life all through last year. Despite that You are not yet done with me but indeed I know You are so good to me in Jesus' name. Amen!

LightWord: VERSE OF THE DAY “Don’t be pulled in different directions or worried about a thing. Be saturated in prayer throughout each day, offering your faith-filled requests before God with overflowing gratitude. Tell him every detail of your life.” Philippians 4:6 TPT This year 2023, if you really want God to help you and you truly know Him as your only source of help, then, you have nothing to worry about, instead you keep lifting and praising Him so well knowing fully well that He is more than able to help you allroundly. I see your praises and thanksgiving to God multiplied this year in Jesus' name. Amen!

 LightWord: VERSE OF THE DAY “Praise ye the Lord. Blessed is the man that feareth the Lord, that delighteth greatly in his commandments. His seed shall be mighty upon earth. [10] The wicked shall see it, and be grieved; he shall gnash with his teeth, and melt away: the desire of the wicked shall perish.” Psalm 112:1-2,10 It takes result to silent the insults of life. I pray, as you walk with the Lord this year may God give you massive results that will silence all the insults of your life in Jesus' name. Amen!

LightWord: VERSE OF THE DAY “Jesus said to him, “If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes.”” Mark 9:23 It takes faith to clear off obstacles. It takes faith to move mountains. It takes faith to turn every spiritual blessings into reality. I pray, may your faith cause you to do greater exploits this very year . You will have a tangible testimonies to share by the reason of your faith in God in Jesus' name. Amen!

LightWord: VERSE OF THE DAY “For He says to Moses, “I will have mercy on whomever I will have mercy, and I will have compassion on whomever I will have compassion.”” Romans 9:15 Hear this, according to the Scripture above, God's mercy is not for everyone (general), and God can have mercy on just anyone. I decree, may you and all yours be a candidate of God's mercy throughout this new year. And I see God's mercy speaking loud on your behalf all through the new year 2023 in Jesus' name. Amen!
