They will never have to work for less important people.” Proverbs 22:29 ERV In making the most of this year, stop looking or waiting for opportunity, be the opportunity people (kings) are looking for. Don't let people be fed up by you rather they should be fed by you , after being well developed in capacity and character. It's funny to also know that sometimes people especially religious people do nothing, they only wish to succeed. Most of the time, religiously they say, I know God will do it! God will do what? It's important to know that God will never do for you what you ought to do for yourself. Develop yourself!! Say this to yourself: Father, help me this year in developing myself at every areas that matters that I might scale new heights You've prepared for me this year in Jesus' name. Amen!

LightWord: “Observe people who are good at their work— skilled workers are always in demand and admired; they don’t take a backseat to anyone.” Proverbs 22:29 MSG The good news is when you sow the seed of the harvest of blessing you want God to bless you with, you will reap far beyond what you sow. Luke 6:38 . The last nugget which is the fifth point in maximing this year is to,  Develop yourself in Character and Capacity. It's funny when people say they are waiting for any opportunity to succeed, but the truth is, such people just keep waiting. This year, don't be like them. Develop yourself first , and you'll see that opportunity is all around you. Say this yourself: Father give me grace in discipling myself to develop myself for the greatness You've prepared for me this year in Jesus' name. Amen!

LightWord: “And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing.” Genesis 12:2 This was God speaking to our father of faith Abraham on a journey of a new chapter of his life, the primary purpose for which he will be blessed, that he might be a blessing. This is a new year, a new chapter which can productively produce a new you if you will abide by the rule. This year, look for every avenue to be a blessing to God's kingdom ( Matt.6:33 ), your pastor ( Matt.10:40-42 ), your family ( Eph.6:1-4) , people around you ( Gal.6:9-10 ), less privileges ( Matt.25:37-40 ), this is also one of the secret of Job's blessing ( Job29:1-4, 11-16 ). Remember, it's more blessed to give than to receive. Acts 20:35 . Say this to yourself: By the enabling grace of Christ I am a blessing to my world. I am a source of blessing, joy, and happiness to many people this year and so I'm full with the blessing of the Lord in Jesus...

LightWord: “And David perceived that the Lord had confirmed him king over Israel, for his kingdom was lifted up on high, because of his people Israel.” 1 Chronicles 14:2 We were told from the Scripture above the reason God lifted up on high the kingdom of David was simply because of God's people. The same goes for his son Solomon 1Kings 3:6-14. This is the key, when God sees your heart truly that you ain't self-centered, That your desire is to be a blessing to people around you regardless of the little or much you have, then you don't have to beg God to bless you, He will just keep blessing you. This year be driven in becoming a blessing to people. Say this to yourself: Father, help me not to be self-centered this year but to always be mindful of others, being a blessing to my world that Your name may be glorified through me in Jesus' name. Amen!

LightWord: “Great blessings belong to those who show mercy to others. Mercy will be given to them.” Matthew 5:7 ERV Here is another vital point you need to assimilate and practice often in making the most of this new year. Sometimes, what we do on the instead is the opposite and eventually leads to heaviness of heart at the end of the year. The number four nugget of the five things needed to be fulfilled in a new year like this is to BE A BLESSING . Instead of expecting to be helped and favored by men, you do it as you have the capacity and see the turn around by God. Say this to yourself: Father, thank You for endowing me with too much grace to be a blessing everywhere at every level in Jesus' name. Amen!

LightWord: “If you, then, being evil [that is, sinful by nature], know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask and continue to ask Him!” Luke 11:13 AMP My advice for you on this third point is, don't struggle to do things on your own this year, never be moved by what you are seeing around but just by what the Spirit is revealing to you. If He shows you just one goal for the whole year, don't add your own to it, let it be just like that. You really want to be fulfilled in this year 2023?, let the Holy Spirit guide you through, you just follow. Say this to yourself: Spirit of the living God, I confess without You I can do nothing, I need You this year: show me the way to go, lead me the right path, guide me and instruct me and I'm ready to follow by the grace of God in Jesus' name. Amen!

LightWord: “And thine ears shall hear a word behind thee, saying, This is the way, walk ye in it, when ye turn to the right hand, and when ye turn to the left. ” Isaiah 30:21 Someone once said, another meaning of insanity is to keep doing the same thing same way and expect a different outcome . It can't just work! If you will agree with me, one of the major things that causes frustration and sometimes leads to depression at the end of the year is, When most of our goals or resolution written at the beginning of the year never get accomplished. Simply because they were written out of ambition and without the Holy Spirit leading us. Don't give room for that again this year, no need to rush, just patiently wait for the leading of the Holy Spirit. Say this to yourself: Father, I wait for Your Spirit, to reveal to me the way to my fulfillment this year. I refuse to do things again my way, my inner ears are open to Your instructions, and just as You lead me, I will follow in Jesus...
