LIGHT WORD

LightWord: “We are bound to thank God always for you, brethren, as it is fitting, because your faith grows exceedingly.”  2 Thessalonians 1:3a NKJV It's true that everyone will face series of challenges. Remember, Jesus himself faced his own, thereby He said in John 16:33 that as long as you are in the world - excluding no nations of the earth - you are bound to have tribulation. But 1John 5:4 gives the key to victory which is our faith. Which means without faith, there is no victory. Faith can never be once and for all. You keep growing your faith even exceedingly because as you overcome some challenges, another ones are set already. New level, new devil. So we must constantly live by faith. In fact, Paul says in 2 Corinthians 13:5 that we should examine ourselves if we are still in the faith: that is, checking day by day if our faith is still intact. Say this to yourself:  Father, thank You for Your Word that generates faith. I pray that my faith will not fail me all the days of

LightWord: “Jesus replied, “Have faith in God [constantly].” Mark 11:22 AMP The justified has no choice but to live by faith. We have been programmed to live that way and that way only. (Read Habakkuk 2:4, Romans 1:17, Galatians 3:11, Hebrews 10:38). Living by faith means, it is what we will depend on for the rest of our lives, to continaully live a victorious life! See, no matter the level of your Apostleship, Lord Bishop, Reverend, Pastor, Senior or Junior evangelist, greatest servant of God and whatsoever or whosoever you are, everyone will have to face his/her own challenges, everyday challenges (2 Corinthians 10:3). So, if you don't want challenges of life to bring you down then faith lifestyle is a must! Say this to yourself: Jesus, every trace of unbelief in my life especially to God's Word that may make me to be cheaply defeated in life, today by Your mercy turns it around into a strong faith for me in Jesus' name. Amen!

LightWord: “And the apostles said unto the Lord, Increase our faith.” Luke 17:5 Here is the difference between want and need. For instance, you can say I want to buy a car, I want to give to God a thousand times offering, I want to bless my Pastor - yea, that's a desire, that's want! But a need is quite different from a desire. A need is what makes you to function. A car does not want gasoline, it needs gasoline to function. You don't desire to give God your tithe, it's a need for you to pay your tithe. A need helps you to be what you are accurately designed to be. Faith is a need! As a Believer, the Word of God says FAITH is a need for living. The scripture points out in four (4) different places both in the Old and New Testaments that we, the justified shall live by faith. Say this to yourself: Father, thank You for the little faith I have now. I thank You for You will increase my faith in You. I do believe, help me to believe more in Jesus' Name. Amen!

  LightWord: “And the apostles said unto the Lord, Increase our faith.” Luke 17:5 God wrought special miracles through Paul. But one of the secret is that Apostle Paul prayed often, he fast often 2Corinthians 11:27. God once said to me, to become a power-full man, you need to be prayer-full. Once is never enough: as long as you want super to your natural, you need to pray and fast often. (Psalm 63:1-2). Now, you might say maybe I probably want to talk about FAITH. Yes, faith is an essential need in a believers' life. And I hope you know the difference between want and need? Want can be term to what you desire but a need is quite different from a desire. Say this to yourself: Thank You Father for the truth of Your Word that makes free. From today, by the reason of Your Word let my faith be active day by day to function fully the way You wants me to function in life in Jesus' Name. Amen!

  LightWord: “Howbeit this kind goeth not out but by prayer and fasting.” Matthew 17:21 From the beginning of this series 'The Only Sufficient Thing' we were able to cross check on three different things from the Scripture that are so vital yet not sufficient, not once. Like the constant need of the Holy Spirit, the Power of God, and Prayer. Today let's move on to Prayer and Fasting. Probably if prayer is to be on a consistent basis, maybe when fasting is added to it (once or occasionally) then it will be so sufficient. But Jesus says in Matthew17:21, to continually experience the miraculous in your life, you need to be a person yielded to consitent prayer and fasting. Say this to yourself: Father of heaven, thank You for the mystery of Your Word that is been revealed. I ask oh Lord for the required grace to engage myself into the realm of the supernatural by praying and fasting often in Jesus' name. Amen!

LightWord: “And he spake a parable unto them to this end, that men ought always to pray, and not to faint.” Luke 18:1 Praying is winning; just as breathing is living. That's how vital prayer is. According to Jesus' parable here, He regards constant prayer as faith that guarantees undeniable victory (read Luke 18:1-8). Jesus himself was a man of constant prayer in His days here on earth. This shows that we as believers can never be satisfied with a day prayer, not even a month nor a year prayer in our journey in life. It is necessary for us to pray and pray consistently; as 7 days without prayer makes one weak! Paul the Apostle said we should be praying without ceasing. (1 Thessalonians 5:17) Say this to yourself: Father, I need the Spirit of prayer and supplication, by Your mercy let it rest upon my life always for me not to be defeated by any means in Jesus' name Amen!   LightWord: “But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.” Acts 1:8 In our focal Scripture of today Jesus told His disciples when they shall receive power. Power? I don't think the disciples need anymore power; don't you think so? Why? Because Jesus already empowered them, not even once. In Matthew 10:1 Jesus gave them power, Luke 9:1 He ranked the power, in Luke 10:19 He gave them another level of power again. But Jesus, speaking to His disciples knows that it is the law of constant supply for constant demand: the more you are being filled with the Holy Spirit the more you will be empowered, and the more authority is conferred on you for consistent dominion. So, the power of God is never sufficient for a believer: new empowerment, new engagement. Say this to yourself: Thank You Father for empowering me day by day by You

  LightWord: “Do not get drunk with wine, for that is wickedness (corruption, stupidity), but be filled with the [Holy] Spirit and constantly guided by Him.” EPHESIANS 5:18 AMP Can the Holy Spirit be sufficient once received after conversion? Though the Holy Spirit is the number one need of a Christian, in which without, a Christian is nothing but an empty vessel. Yet if it were to be the Holy Spirit that is sufficient for one in the journey of life; Then there won't be a need to be filled with the Holy Spirit and be constantly guided by Him just as the Scripture says. Therefore, it is evidence that once we are not constantly asking for the filling up of the Holy Spirit, then the evil spirit can be a replacement even without knowing. (1Samuel 16:14) Say this to yourself: Lord Jesus, let not Your Spirit depart from me. Fill me up always with the Holy Spirit as I surrender myself to His leading, guidance and instructions now and forever in Jesus' name. Amen!

  LightWord: “And the spirit entered into me when he spake unto me, and set me upon my feet, that I heard him that spake unto me.” Ezekiel 2:2 Just like I said, be ready to be enlightened and also to be imparted. Above Scripture says the spirit entered into me when he spake unto me. As the Word of God is coming in your direction, let your mind be alert and your heart be receptive to believe the truth of God's Word. Disallow spiritual decadence. Now, from the Word of God, all from Genesis to Revelation, there is just one thing that is proven: in other words, tested and trusted, that can be sufficient enough in running the race of life. So, what is that thing? Is it the Holy Spirit? Power? Prayer? Prayer couples with Fasting? Faith?... By the inspiration of the Holy Spirit we shall come to the full knowledge of God's Word to transformed our world. Say this to yourself: Thank You Lord for the mystery of Your Word. I pray that You give me the Spirit of wisdom and revelation today

  LightWord: “Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think any thing as of ourselves; but our sufficiency is of God; Who also hath made us able ministers of the new testament; not of the letter, but of the spirit: for the letter killeth, but the spirit giveth life.” 2 Corinthians 3:5-6 We discovered from the living Word of God that there is a particular thing that can only be sufficient in a man's life. And that's what this series is all about. Please, I will like you to follow up each and every single part of this series with a sense of value. And most importantly, don't just read the letters but be inspired by the Spirit behind the letters. Read, study, pray and ponder on it both to be enlightened and to be imparted. DIVINE HEALTH BLESSING! AS THIS MONTH OF JULY HAS BEEN DECLARED OUR MONTH OF DIVINE HEALTH!! (MATTHEW 8:17) I PRAY EVERY UNHEALTHY SITUATIONS IN YOUR LIFE SPIRITUALLY, EMOTIONALLY AND PHYSICALLY BATTLING WITH YOU, SHALL FINALLY BE HEALED BY THE HEALING POWER OF GOD TODAY. IT'S BETTER NOT TO BE SICK AT ALL, THAN TO BE SEEKING FOR HEALING. GOD'S PERFECT WILL FOR YOU IS DIVINE HEALTH WHERE YOU WILL NEVER SAY YOU ARE SICK (ISAIAH 33:24).   LightWord: “ Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.”  3 John 1:2 In conclusion of this awesome and powerful series today, get to know that prosperity is God's priority for your life. He want you to prosper most importantly according to His will for your life. He delights in it. Just to obey Him, and surely He will be there for you even in your prosperity. And if God be for you? Your safety is guaranteed! Regardless of how many people or forces gather together against you, if not of God, they shall surely scattered (read Romons 8:31, Isaiah 54:14-17, Genesis 12:2-3). The blessings might come with persecutions though but you are secured. David had this understanding (Mark 10:29-30, Psalm 30:6). So, the security covers your prosperity and posterity. (Read Psalm 112). The key is to stay in  obedience to Him. Say this to yourself: LORD JESUS, I believe You became poor that I might be rich, You came that I may have life

  LightWord: “Wealth protects the rich, but poverty destroys the poor.” Proverbs 10:15 ERV As we are about to conclude this series Empowerment For Prosperity; I believed you've been taught, touched and empowered by the Holy Spirit to prosper according to God's will. Also, there is this one thing you have to know and understand fully well about true prosperity. And that is the truth that this kind of prosperity, which is the kingdom prosperity comes with security. God Almighty himself will stand as a defence for you. In other words, no devil can tamper with you neither with all that concerns you. Glory to God! (read Job 22:21-25, Mal.3:10-12). You are secure in your prosperity. Say this to yourself: Father by the help of the Holy Spirit I declare I'm walking only in Your ways to true prosperity and thank You Lord because I know I am secure in my prosperity in Jesus' name. Amen!

  LightWord: “And though I bestow all my goods to feed the  poor, and though I give my body to be burned, but have not love, it profits me nothing.” I Corinthians 13:3 NKJV Many today wants Abraham's blessings but are they ready to do what Abraham did, the sacrifice Abraham paid, the love that he has for God? As far as God's Word is concern, we all have the same principle of prosperity in the Kingdom of God. Giving still remain the only relevant principle of Kingdom prosperity but on the platform of love! What distinguishes us is our consistency and faithfulness in doing so, and that can only be triggered by love. It does not count, it has no meaning giving your life away if not for the purpose of love (Ephesians 5:25). God gave His one and only Son primarily because of LOVE! (read John 3:16). You must understand that height is determined by depth. How well and long you will enjoy the true prosperity is determined by your deep love for God and His Kingdom (read Matthew 6:33).

  LightWord: “His lord said unto him, Well done, good and faithful servant; thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord.” Matthew 25:23 Faithfulness demands some conscious, strenuous effort. You have to consciously, diligently and tirelessly doing your own part of the deal. He will prosper you, He said. It does not matter the level you start with, just continue and be faithful. John D. Rockefella, the American first billionaire said his first wages amounted to $1.50 per week, and yet his mother trained him to pay his tithe from it. He said, if he had not tithed the first dollar he made he would not have tithed the first million dollars he made. Don't focus about being successful, just be faithful. Luke 16:10-11 Say this to yourself: Heaven, I need help to be faithful and remain faithful all my days, so help me God in Jesus' name. Amen!

  LightWord: “If therefore ye have not been faithful in the unrighteous mammon, who will commit to your trust the true riches?”  Luke 16:11 Why must we buy into God’s prosperity principle? It's simple, because you don't have any alternative to true riches. True riches only come from God, so whatever He tells us to do to access true prosperity, then we must. Jesus said it all started by being faithful in the little things Luke 16:10-11. You need the giving grace just like the Church of Macedonia. Don't think God's prosperity is a magic. You must work it out. You are not permitted to prosper if you are not a giver; and you may remain a beggar if you are not a giver. Give, even with the little in your hands, the return will be so great and amazing. Say this to yourself: Father of our Lord Jesus Christ release unto me the giving grace today in Jesus' name. Amen!

  LightWord: ““People should not steal things from God, but you stole things from me. “You say, ‘What did we steal from you?’ “You should have given me one-tenth of your things. You should have given me special gifts. ” Malachi 3:8 ERV God said in our focal scripture of today that people have robbed Him, stole things from Him. But in the other way round, can a man truly rob God? NO! Paying your tithe, giving to God doesn't change the status of God. He remains God. He's never in need. But by giving quality offering to Him, paying your tithe, it simply means you are giving God the access to prove His faithfulness in your life. He said He will bless you and prosper you till you become the envy of everyone around you. Mal.3:8 & 10. Say this to yourself: Thank You Lord for the truth of Your Word. Help me Father to be faithful in order to be successful according to Your plan for my life in Jesus' name. Amen!

  LightWord: “Do not be deceived and deluded and misled; God will not allow Himself to be sneered at (scorned, disdained, or mocked by mere pretensions or professions, or by His precepts being set aside.) [He inevitably deludes himself who attempts to delude God.] For whatever a man sows, that and that only is what he will reap.” Galatians 6:7 AMPC God's Word stand firm! Rom.3:4. The different between a struggling believer and a shining one is LiGHT. Is not luck, is light! Oh how true it is that the knowledge of God strengthens and births exploits! While some are one day off, one day on: today they pay their tithe, tomorrow they eat it up, next tomorrow they repent and pay half of it. Can God be mocked? Can you just pause and think. The Angels will rather put those records in offering and not tithe. So you have been robbing God all this while Mal.3:10. LightWord: “Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the Lord of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it.” Malachi 3:10 Paying your tithe is not limited to some aspects, it involves every aspect - bring all the tithes, "ALL" the Lord says. Even if it was a gift given to you, find out or guess what the worth of the gift may be, and pay the tithe when capable. Abraham paid the tithe of all and God also blessed him in all ways. His servant also confirmed how greatly God has blessed his master. Gen. 24:35. Abraham was so blessed that till today we all are still partakers of his blessing. Gal.3:9, 29. You have to pay the tithe of all to God. Say this to yourself: Lord help me in my weaknesses in disobeying or ignoring what is profitable. Give me the giving grace, paying my tithe in all things to be blessed with fai

Build house for God or actively part of the projects, it draws God's attention to you. Builders of the Kingdom never get stranded. (read Hag.1:6-9, Luke 7:3-5). You command God's attention and intervention to your situation when you are part of His Kingdom builder here on earth. Say this to yourself: Father, thank You because from today You will help the more to seek You first, to be part of Your Kingdom builder and that all my labor not be in vain in Jesus' name. Amen!
