LIGHT WORD

LightWord: “Delight thyself also in the Lord; and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart.” Psalm 37:4 Once you are saved, you are entitled for a change of story ( Eph.5:8 ). Yet you must desire a desired change and work towards it before it can be a reality. Jabez knew what he wanted and God granted him all he wanted ( 1Chr.4:9-10 ), he became more honourable than his brethren. Sir/Ma, overtaking is allowed. What change do you want specifically? Because change is change. From bad to worse, is a change, from bad to good, is also a change, from good to better, is as well a change, from better to best is another level of change, but I think the ultimate change for anyone is from best to being better than the best . Say this to yourself: Thank You Father for the privilege to speak out my heart desires to You, and thank You much more that You are able to do it for me. LightWord: “Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and to the rest of the apostles, Men and brethren, “WHAT SHALL WE DO?” Acts 2:37 Salvation is the foundation of your qualification for a change of story. God loves you and wants you to know Him through His Son Jesus Christ so He can fill you with peace and give you real life, forever. So, why must you keep hiding and deceiving yourself from the one who is ready to change your life for better? If you know, you're yet to be saved, it's never too late for you. Jesus Christ the unchangeable changer is willing and eager to accept you, forgive you all your sins and transform you completely (Matt.11:28-30, Luke9:10) . All you have to do is to say YES and surrender all to Him today, mind you, tomorrow might be too late. Saying YES to Him is as simple as ABC. Say this to yourself : I ACCEPT my need for a Savior, I BELIEVE Jesus is the Son of God and the Savior of the world, this I CONFESS today

LightWord: “Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and to the rest of the apostles, Men and brethren, “WHAT SHALL WE DO?” Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized.” Acts 2:37-38 Just like the people of Israel asking for the steps to take in Acts 2:37-38 , likewise, there are few steps to take before change can be possible in an individual's life. Change is not automatic, as a car doesn't get on motion by itself. No matter how expensive or modern a vehicle is, yet, it has to be controlled before movement. Likewise, there must be a control to command the change you want. Number one control for change is that you must be born-again , genuinely born-again! Say this to yourself: Lord Jesus, come in to my heart today, I need You fully to take charge of my life to be transformed to a new being in Jesus' name. Amen!

LightWord: “Though your beginning was insignificant, Yet your end will greatly increase.” Job 8:7 AMP Jesus himself working with His father in the carpentry's workshop would have been called an ordinary carpenter. It was even said concerning Him, can any good thing come out from Nazareth, but the answer is "come and see" . That is, change has happened! No matter who you are too today or where you come from, like I said that doesn't stop your glorious destiny. Change is possible but you must take some steps of faith to experience a change. Say this  to yourself:  Father, thank You for by the reason of Your Word and light, You will make me a come and see news of good things in life in Jesus' name. Amen!

LightWord: “Though your beginning was insignificant, Yet your end will greatly increase.” Job 8:7 AMP  Indeed, destiny sometimes looks ordinary. There are some instances of great giants in the Scripture that their beginning doesn't look like it at all. Joseph was found in Potiphar's house and people around him as at that time might have called him a common house boy. He didn’t look like someone who will change his generation. David in the bush might have been known to be an ordinary bush boy. Esther likewise would have been tagged as a slave with no hope of the future. Yet, that doesn't stop their destiny from manifesting. But it doesn't just happen. You got to make it happen! Say this to yourself: Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, I believe only You can change me from inside out, no one else can. Show me what to do and enable me to do them that I may experience a great change in my life too in Jesus'name. Amen!

LightWord: “And Jabez was more honourable than his brethren: and his mother called his name Jabez, saying, Because I bare him with sorrow. And Jabez called on the God of Israel...” 1 Chronicles 4:9-10 But by the time your change comes, you see the same mouth they used in saying evil about you is what they will use in announcing your glory. It is unfortunate that it was even Jabez' mother that said nothing good can come out of Jabez' Nazareth. But the same name for the same person called Sorrow, was also recognized to be more honorable than all his siblings even in the same verse of the Scripture. Why? Because Jehovah has turned his life around. Someone reading this, write today's date down, within the next 90days in the name of Jesus you will have a change of status, your story is changing to glory and so it is. LightWord: “And Jabez was more honourable than his brethren: and his mother called his name Jabez, saying, Because I bare him with sorrow. And Jabez called on the God of Israel...” Genesis 13:14-15 Change is not a threat, is just an opportunity; so determine in your mind to change for good and you shall see your desired changes. Mark 1:15 Jabez desired a great change and he was changed greatly to a new man with new beginnings attracted with a new name because of his change of level. Hello, don't focus too much on people's descriptions about your life now, let them say, think whatever they can think, that does not determine your future neither does it stop your destiny from actualizing. Say this to yourself: Oh Lord God Almighty, step into my life today, turn every darkness to light, bless me indeed, change my life for better in Jesus' name. Amen!

LightWord: “And the Lord said unto Abram, after that Lot was separated from him, Lift up now thine eyes, and look from the place where thou art; For all the land which thou seest, to thee will I give it, and to thy seed for ever.” Genesis 13:14-15 Another prerequisite for change is a pure life. A life free from sin. Abraham change came forth after Lot was separated from Him; your change will only come to reality after sins and all unrighteousness drop off you. As long as you keep mingling in your wrong doings, then change will be a mirage. It's one thing that your life demands respect, is another thing that your life commands respect. If your life demand a respect, then your life is nothing good than that of a thug but if your life command respect, it wouldn't be you to instruct people to honor you, your life through the changes in you will automatically deserve due respect. LightWord: “And the Lord said unto Abram, after that Lot was separated from him, Lift up now thine eyes, and look from the place where thou art; For all the land which thou seest, to thee will I give it, and to thy seed for ever.” Genesis 13:14-15 God said to Abraham to begin to see the kind of change he desire, because until one see - with a desperate heart - his/her desire coming just like that of Job ( Job 14:14 ), one will never experience a change. The Lord said to Abraham as far as you can see I am able to change the game for your favor but you must first see it! Whatever change you want to experience just see the change with your inner eyes, and you will surely see the Unchangeable Changer changing things for your good. Say this to yourself: Thank You Lord for I am confident in you that my change is possible. I can see everything turning around(changing) for my good in Jesus' name. Amen!

LightWord: “Cast not away therefore your confidence, which hath great recompence of reward.” Hebrews 10:35 It is imperative to know that change is a personal decision. No one can desire a change for you , though they might truly and sincerely wish and pray for your change, but change will only occur when you personally desire it. Esau experienced a turnaround not because anybody wished him well, Job encountered a change of story to glory when everyone including his own very wife lost hope in him. When it seem the whole world is plotting against you, first believe and desire a change, for your change is possible. Say this to yourself: One thing I'm sure of in which I believe is that my change is possible, and with God I am changing for the better sooner than expected in Jesus' name. Amen!

LightWord: “If a man die, shall he live again? all the days of my appointed time will I wait, till my change come.” Job 14:14 By redemption we have been ordained by God to be the light of the world, illuminating everywhere and changing the world for better Matt.5:14-16. But just as it is written in Part 1 of this series that only a changed person can change the world. You cannot be the light when you yourself is stumbling in darkness . Just as the case of Esau, where his mother hated him, his brother cheated on him by trick, his father cursed him (Gen.27) , just as if the whole world has turned upside down for him, yet he desired a change and he experienced a great turnaround. Likewise the man called Job; everybody saw an end for him in his tribulations but he kept on seeing a change with strong desire ( Job 14:14 ) and at last he was blessed beyond measure. See Job 42:12-17 . Say this to yourself: Lord, no matter what people think or say about me, no matter what they see around me

LightWord: “And Esau said, I have enough, my brother; keep that thou hast unto thyself.” Genesis 33:9 In the cause of this series, I believe and declare you will have a change of story! Believe me, the Word of God is real, but it is only real for those that believes in the power of God's Word Matt.9:29 . Do you know if everyone says you cannot change and you earnestly desire a change then nothing can change it for you not to experience that change, and vice-versa. A perfect example here is Esau. He was cursed by his own biological father, but because Esau desired a change of story ( Gen.27:34&38 ), the later end of Esau was great and exceedingly great, being even more successful than his so called blessed brother. Though he was neglected by his family but he rebel against the curse on his life and stood up for a change and finally he experienced the change he desired. He, been the first and last person throughout the scripture to declare "I have enough". Say this to

LightWord: “Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and to the rest of the apostles, Men and brethren, what shall we do? ” Acts 2:37 Having your desired change is more than just confessing, possessing or I believe, I receive; No! You have to work it out. We discovered from the Scripture that God is not a magician but a miracle worker. Which means you have to work your desire change out rather than believing God and keep being a burden to God by your prayers alone. You have to arise to the occasion of your life and provoke divine intervention . But you are permitted to stay doing nothing, if your present condition is okay by you. Say this to yourself: Lord, You are the unchangeable changer, I surrender my life to You waiting for Your direction on what to do and how to do it to see my desired change sooner than expected in Jesus' name. Amen!

LightWord: “But Jesus beheld them, and said unto them, With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible.” Matthew 19:26 As it is popularly said “change is constant” which simply means there is nothing that cannot change. But until a man is changed, he cannot be changed and only a changed man can change the world . Everybody wants a change but to change is the difficulty. Now, except if a man has a strong desire to change, he won't change. It is said in physics that everything remains in a stagnant position until a force is being applied. There are required principles to follow in order to enforce the desired change. Yet change is possible! Say this to yourself: Thank You Father because with You my change is possible in Jesus' name. Amen!

LightWord: “Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.” John 8:12 In your quest for more light, you will discover the prevailing power over sicknesses and diseases ( Matthew 8:17, Psalm 91:10 ). Likewise, for your relationship, marriage and family e.t.c. And always remember this, that the simple to any situation you may face in life is LiGHT . The Word of God is that LiGHT. It's a Creator's manual that offers instructions to maximize destiny. It is not a book of ideas, it's a book of instructions ( 1 Timothy 3:16, Matthew 11:28-30 ). Jesus said over and over again, just keep following My manual (The Bible) and you'll never live in darkness. Say this to yourself: Thank You Lord because the light that has began to shine in my life will never turn out to darkness. I'm a shining LiGHT and I will keep shining brighter and brighter. LightWord: “In him was life; and the life was the light of men.” John 1:4 The abundance of life you enjoy from Jesus all depends on your knowledge of Him . Knowledge is a form of light, it illuminate. To apply God's Word in your daily affairs solely depends on what you know about God in His Word towards whatever you may be going through in life. ( 2 Corinthians 4:6 ) Being a light is not a make up, it's a real life experience. If you are tired of failing, what does God's Word says concerning success? ( Joshua 1:8, Matthew 6:33 ), if you are fed up of lack and want, how does God's Word addresses that? ( Malachi 3:10-12, Exodus 23:25-26 ). There is light for every darkness, go for more LIGHT! Say this to yourself: Father, thank You for the revelational knowledge of Your Word. I humbly and sincerely ask today for the grace to be disciplined in maximizing the opportunity of the availability of Your Word and applying it in my daily living in Jesus' name. Amen!

LightWord: “In him was life; and the life was the light of men.” John 1:4 God's Word which is Light gives directions to get you to your desired destination . You desire financial breakthrough, you need to be faithful even in the little. Before you start 100 day fasting for financial breakthrough, first ask yourself, am I really faithful? Do I pay my tithe as expected? Do I give to God cheerfully and willingly? Do I invest even with the little I'm having now or I'm among the spend it all because it's not enough?... Doing God's Word practically will make God's Word to do for you supernaturally. To experience financial breakthrough, be financially disciplined, be faithful at all levels. Say this to yourself: Father I thank You for light, and  I sincerely ask for the Holy Spirit guidance and directions in making decisions toward my finances according to the will of God in Jesus' name. Amen!

LightWord: “In him was life; and the life was the light of men.” John 1:4 Jesus said His words are Spirit and life. It carries the transformation power to anyone that is ready to make the right use of the application. All you need is just a switch and there will be power supply to your light. For in His light we shall see light. For instance, you don't want to experience financial struggles in life? then apply the light of God's Word to your finances . His Word says the ultimate need in this area is to be faithful in your finances ( Luke 16:10-11 ). Say this to yourself: Father, indeed Your Word is full of life and Spirit, as I apply Your Word to my daily affairs, may it never fail me. Make me an embodiment of light through Your Word that darkness can not by any means withstand in Jesus' name. Amen!

LightWord: “For with thee is the fountain of life: in thy light shall we see light.” Psalm 36:9 I said it the last time that applying this light from the Word of God is what will generate effect in your own light. You may ask but how will I apply this Word of God to my life especially in my daily affairs? Good question! First, you must understand that the book called the Bible which is the Word of God deals with practicality. As a matter of fact, you won't enjoy the best of the Word of God until you make it practical . You need grace not just to read but to do according to the revelation of His Word. Say this to yourself: Father in the name of Jesus Christ I ask for grace, abundant grace to read and to do Your Word for my life to be lighted indeed in Jesus' name. Amen!

LightWord: “For with thee is the fountain of life: in thy light shall we see light.” Psalm 36:9 Common sense will tell us that no matter how furnished a house is even with expensive lightning, but if it's not connected to the main power source, there's no supply and it can't perform its function, darkness will still be the dictator. The power source for your light to shine is the Word of God (read John 1:1-5, Psalm 119:105 and vs130 ), and until you apply the light you've found to that situation, darkness will be the order of the day. But once you generate that power from the Word of God, then you dominate. Say this to yourself: Thank You Jesus for the power source of Your Word is what my light is connected to from today to shine. I'm taking charge of my life and through Your Word, I'm lighting my world in Jesus' name. Amen!

LightWord: “For with thee is the fountain of life: in thy light shall we see light.” Psalm 36:9 In our focal Scripture of today, the Word says in God's light we shall find our own light. This means our own light cannot shine on itself for darkness to disappear, there must be a greater light which is the light of God radiating through us. Once we are connected to God's Light in the light of His Word then, our path is sure to shine brighter and brighter clearing all darkness on our ways. Friends, we must know without connectivity to His light, we have no light in us. Say this to yourself: Father by Your grace I permanently connect to the Light of Your Word henceforth and nothing, not even the tricks of the devil will get me disconnected again in Jesus' name. Amen!
